  A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... and download Adobe Reader 11.0 installation base.

  Then download each individual updates and run them sequentially.

  I installed back to the last update of security which is version 08 and were able to register under normal operations.

  You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.

  When you say that web forms, do you mean HTML forms or PDF forms? For web forms, Adobe has a number of products, you can use, including FormsCentral and Dreamweaver. For PDF forms, you can create them with Acrobat.

  If you want to create HTML forms with FormsCentral, which calls the web forms, you will need a subscription for the FormsCentral service. The FormsCentral application that comes with 11 Acrobat is used to create local PDF forms, but if you want to create web forms with him you will need a subscription.   Yesterday morning, I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and because of the time needed to install, I left my office for the day and my computer left overnight. When I arrived at my office this morning, I checked my email and found Court electronic filing of notifications of PDF documents filed in two federal cases, I'm working on that. I went to open the documents in both cases, but the documents would not open, and I have lost these documents.  I could look at my computer screen and saw a message from reference in order for me to open documents, I had to accept the license agreement provided by Adobe.

  I'm not an individual computer, and I seriously need your help.  Could you please guide me for the license agreement I need to sign in order to retrieve and open PDFs that are filed in the federal courts, I practice before? I have some papers I have to drop off this morning in Federal Court, which must be filed in PDF, so time is critically important.

  First of all, I'm sorry you had trouble. But you posted in the wrong place. This is the Adobe Connect forum, for users of Acrobat Connect Pro.

  How have you lost documents? If documents have been emailed to you, you should always be able to recover again from your email. Try to launch Adobe Acrobat FIRST, then using file > open to retrieve the documents where you stored the on your computer.

  Hereis a list of product licenses, but I do not think that this will help you. Try what I suggested and let me know what happened please. Good luck!

  Yes, you reason as acrobat 4 is not compatible with Windows 7.

  Acrobat 4 is a very old version and Adobe no longer provide support for this version.

  You can hide the tools constantly right pane by doing this:

  1. go in the Edit menu. then Preferences..., select the 'Documents' category on the left (the second from the top) and in the right, uncheck "pane open tools for each document. Press OK to dismiss the preferences pane.

  2. then open any PDF file and hide the pane tools by SHIFT + F4 or by clicking on the thin partition between the page and the tool pane.

  3 close the player.

  In the next time on when you use the drive, you do not see the tool pane. You can still get it by clicking on the thin margin to the right of the display of the page (where the Tools pane will remain hidden) and activate it by activating the preference above again permanently.
