Only Premiere Pro CS6 no reading, Yosemite

Hi, I'm running CS6 on Yosemite with a GTX 770, and I can't playback of video files. I have cuda enabled in the list and the work of mecury enginine ist. Rendered previews and the media is really very fast. Also, I can rub through the media and moving image by image, but a normal reading and also the 'j' classic 'k', 'l', the keys do not work. All solutions? Should I activate OpenCL? How this can be done? Thank you

Hello

What do you mean the Play / Pause button does not work? Are you able to see the video in the source monitor and program correctly and rub through it? You hear audio during playback?

You can switch to OpenCL or software only in the file > project settings > general and see if that helps.

Reading problems can be caused to connect external audio devices sometimes. Have you plugged everything?

Thank you

    Hello everyone.

I would buy it, but first of all, I would like to ask if Premiere Pro CS6 is really compatible with my new Mac OSX Yosemite. If this was not the case, I would like to know what I'd do (before, during and after the installation, if possible).

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 installed on OS X Yosemite and many people use without problems. Your best option would be to use the first Pro CC or higher for flawless performance.

  • Export of media in Premiere Pro CS6 ONLY produces an Audio file in Media Encoder

First of all, all the System Info:

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card

    I use the first Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) «Mighty Kilt»

    Version 6.0.3.1 (64-bit) Adobe Media Encoder cs6

Other Adobe applications: AIR, creative cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, 12 ActiveX of Flash Player, Flash Player Plugin from 12, Manager help, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 functional Content, reader XI

I ran on Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updates and everything is up-to-date

I produce a two disc double layer DVD for 100 families of my sons of fanfare.

I have half an hour "masterpiece" of interviews, segments of performance, rehearsal sequences, credits, etc. that I edited complete set with sound, etc.

I also have various other video segments of the season, a high quality (1920 x 1080) and a decline in quality.

Rather than import in yet and have yet to transcode all the same quality, I wanted to make sure the piece of half an hour and some other segments were transcoded in highest possible quality and given the large size of the files that I could and then transcode other segments at lower levels of quality as it is necessary so all the space on the disks.

The company I use to duplicate/replicate the 100 DVDs of my DVD Master advised me to encode them FIRST in Premiere Pro as you wish and THEN import these files into yet.

I used Adobe Media encode a lot to export the individual segments in the files, I could upload it to Youtube and have had no problems for several months.

    But now, two things happen:

    (1) SOUL automatically designates the file 'exit' with an extension .aac (see table)

    (2) when I do a file "import under" soul encoded in still won't load an audio file (obviously)

    Huh?

Here are the settings I use in my export media dialog in Premiere Pro CS6:

    Format: MPEG2-DVD

    Screening: NTSC widescreen high quality

Out of name (and the file type): _ name with like kind of video Files (*.mpg) «»

Boxes to "Export video" so much "Export Audio" is checked (see attached screen print)

The filters tab: on the left as is, don't do anything here

    Multiplexer tab:

    • Click on the button "DVD" (vs. the "None" button)
    • Bitrate type: left as Variable that matches what is selected by default

    Video tab:

    • Codec: Reads MainConcept MPEG video
    • Quality: increase it up to 5
    • TV standard: NTSC
    • Frame rate: 29.97
    • Field order: no (progressive)
    • Pixel Aspect ratio: screen 16:9 wide
    • Go to maximum depth box checked
    • Encoding Bitrate: I choose CBR for my high quality segments and VBR 2 pass for my segments of lower quality
    • Bitrate: kick up to max to high quality segments, adjust as required to obtain the size of the file that I want for my lower segments of quality

    Audio tab:

    • Audio format: Dolby Digital
    • Codec: Dolby Digital
    • Bitrate: 320 at least, sometimes higher for segments, I want to be the highest quality

I check the box of "quality to make Maximum usage.

I chose 'Tail' for everything and then let it run all night

And Yes, the original media has TWO a video track and audio track that works (see screenshot)

So... What am I doing wrong, useful experts?

A - ha! MPEG2 export formats missing in the SOUL is the key to the riddle. You have a license problem, possibly the one discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4401451.

I'm not familiar with this issue and has not taken the time to read the pages that links Todd to-instead, I wanted to get the link for you as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have a problem directly solving the problem, I see two immediate options: 1) encode "in-process" by Premiere Pro by clicking 'Export' in the dialog box export settings (as opposed to the queue, which of course sends the job of the SOUL), or 2) to install the trial version of CC (aka 7.x).

  • Why Premiere Pro CS6 will only be important to the mpeg format?

Hello, so I use Premiere Pro CS6 now for only a few months and when I imported (using "capture" or F5) and tested a few images a HDV camera using a miniDV Tape, I noticed that Premiere Pro would be to import the mpeg format. I looked up how to change this but couldn't find anything. So in short, I ask you if there is a way to change the import format so that whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

    Thank you!

.. .footage of a HDV camera...
.. .only import in mpeg format.

Capture HDV will always be mpeg.

whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

DV capture will be (pc) .avi or .mov (mac).

    Note:

Capture of a band, import a file based media.

    Capture and scanning

In addition, what is the problem with mpeg?

Why are what determined you to change?

This is a user forum, you talk to other users like you, no Apple or the manufacturer of your GPU - which is, moreover, you neglected to specify in your message.

When you post should give specific information - in this case, your mac model, and especially what GPU it uses.

Some Macs have discreet GPU NVIDIA or AMD, some only the integrated Intel GPU.

If your GPU is you can go to their site and update the driver of NVIDIA CUDA. Who can help, because, as far as I KNOW, first would take advantage of CUDA.

You can find out what GPU your mac uses ranging from the Apple, choosing about this Mac menu and then clicking on "views".

  • How can I get off Premiere Pro CS6 creative cloud?

I spent more than 100 hours in Premiere Pro CS6 gathering four hours of video complicated (at least for me, a first timer) with the goal of end of production of the two DVDs that I reproduce for 100 + members of the band of my son's high school.  Then came time to burn them to DVD, make a menu, etc.

Led me to the seemingly complex and confusing task trying to FIND everything first and then use - yet.

After reading many threads in various forums, it seems that what I had to do was download first Pro CC, uninstall Premiere Pro CS6, leaving the box unchecked to recall and then use them together.

I installed first Pro CC open a project apparently very well.

Then realized that perhaps was already available and accessible to me via CS6. Tried to open a project there... and now none of my projects could open in CS6! I was getting the error message 'Unavailable Sequence' dreaded.

I tried to uninstall CC just to see if that would fix it (because installation it seems to cause the problem). Did not solve.

Then came a help page on Adobe that seemed to imply that if I uninstalled CS6, ran a cleaner utility and then reinstalled, it would probably fix it.

    So I uninstalled.

Then I went to Cloud creative download CS6... but I can't find CS6 anywhere in the creative cloud! I had a membershi of "single-app" creative cloud in June of last year just for Premiere Pro. I've never bought a DVD or anything so I think it's the only way I can re - install the program.

Forget the nightmare of trying to figure out how to get-I want just that Premiere Pro back at this stage. What the heck is a person supposed to do?

Each page after the initial post starts with a number... I reply to your message which is page #2 - to the left of your name, and it will be #4

Bottom of page #5 on the link I posted is where you need to go... you can press the END key on your web browser... article that begins with "using first Pro CC and Encore CS6.

  • Picture in Picture - Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello

    The installation program:

I have a recorded video that was recorded using Xsplit.  I had 2 video sources, we have a webcam recording me, the other was a screenshot of my desktop area.  Basically, the video is talking to me and read things on the screen in the background.  Webcam recording is in the foreground (lower right corner of the video) and the screenshot of office is in the background taking up the rest of the screen.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

During the video, I read a text from a page in the background. What I want to do is when I start reading the text, I want the text to "pop up" on the background page and more so that it can be more easily read, without changing or covering my webcam video in the lower right corner. Another way to say, I want a specific section of the video to zoom forward to get a close-up view of the text in the background, leaving the rest of the video to the size of the normal display.

I know that you can split the video in Premiere Pro CS6 to a picture on top of the image, but when resizing this image that it only allows me to zoom in on something specific within the image video, it only resizes the entire image.

Another solution would be for me to take a screencap of the frame that contains the text in the background.  Then take this screencap, Photoshop (image editing software) only flush the area I need, and then use this new image that contains only the text as a picture-in-picture/overaly.  However, I think that there should be a way to do that is not based on a separate program (i.e. by more than just Premiere Pro CS6).

Help, please!   I hope that I have been descriptive enough, but do not hesitate to ask for clarification if necessary.

    Thank you

Well, it turns out I was wrong. I can easily go up to 140% without problem.

Here is a video showing a possibility. I made 12 seconds you would probably do in 30, but you should get the general idea.

I used a static image of the screen and pasted a photo in the corner to represent a picture of the webcam. Everything I've done has been another copy of the text on the timeline for each section, I wanted to expand. I used the crop effect to isolate the text. (Actually a third party feathers harvest but I ended up not he degraded after all.) I turned then the opacity of the copy down to 0% until I needed to 100% using hold keyframes so that he'd jump at the same time upward instead of gradually.

Then I used keyframes on the control of the brightness & contrast for off gradually the background on 15 images.

I then put on the scale the text to 140% and he repositioned in the Center. After a little time to read the text that I returned it to its place and a picture later, I set the opacity to 0%.

I repeated with the second copy.

If I gave it a little more thought I could have played with the levels to obscure the enlarged a little text. But I'll leave a bit for you to try.

It took more time to understand what I wanted to do than actually do.

    The scenario looks like this.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 - Multicam is BROKEN! vs FCPX, FCP7 (Final Cut Pro), Avid, Sony Vegas

If you plan to spend in FCP7, FCPX, Avid or another edition of Premiere Pro CS6 program, there are SEVERAL good reasons to do so, HOWEVER, if you deal with the edition of several cameras (multicam) so you think twice, until this problem is resolved.

How to edit in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 multicam? What is the best program editing for mulitcam or multiple camera editing? - The answer, as long as the question below is fixed, isn't Adobe Premiere Pro! From CS6 (version 6.0.2), this lack of 'design' or the 'weirdness' described below, multicam editing is very difficult and inefficient in Premiere Pro. These first two issues above are what I searched Google in hopes of a solution to a problem plaguing Adobe Premiere Pro for years, literally. Unfortunately, in the new Premiere CS6, with so many other great innovations, the question remains still makes it very difficult to do an editing multicam compared to Final Cut Pro 7, Avid, Sony Vegas, FCPX, etc.. They all handle editing multicamera in different ways but, having recently passed away from FCP7, and has worked on several modifications mulitcam, Premiere Pro CS6 (and CS5 and CS5.5) has serious problems with the multicam function that is broken right now (version 6.0.2) in first CS6 and fact editing multicam VERY frustrating experience and a lot less effective compared to the other NLE. If it's a drawing, then its imperfect as Yes, you can work around it and difficulty about what you did, but why so you have to keep wasting time precious 'fixing' in such things? All is not supposed.

    The question:

Hit the button of the SPACEBAR or pause or stop during a multicam editing actually stop the edit, made a cut in your timeline (chronology) and then will be another camera (angle or shot), if you want only it or not!

This issue was known by Adobe for more than two years, but they push aside, call a quirk of design and ultimately avoid such question stated in this thread of attachment: http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/738084?start=0 & tstart = 0

Make cuts and put the angles on you when you simply to pause or stop playback is a huge problem of having your editing program. If this were happening in the normal timeline, so I'm guessing it would have been fixed, but it has not been fixed and it causes the editor to have to go back and remove unintended cuts and back shots where they should be. The PAUSE button should only SUSPEND or STOP playback, as it does in other programs. But in the first he stops, make a cut in your timeline and then switches to the first angle or shot you started with if you want or not. There is no way to prevent this at the moment on CS6. The other thread that talks about the question refers to the fact that the "question doesn't have the numbers" to make it a priority to be fixed and there are other "larger issues" that need to be corrected first, which makes me wonder if Adobe really listen to the comments of the user. I mean, 2 years, people complain about that and not of miracle. Their response was 'add to wish list' or ' this isn't a bug, it's a quirk, then do an requested feature"or"its designed that way." Designed like that? Who would really want it like that? No other NLE does this and for good reason. If the pause button pause just reading and that's it, do you think there would be a thread for a period of 2 years on how to hit pause "should also make an incision in the timeline and move from the shots? I doubt it. Its a defaultdesign. I feel strange asking the feature 'Please take the pause break button' or 'Please make the stop button to stop playback. Looks like its brokenness, to me.

If the robot multicam is a major objective for the team Adobe Premiere, go ahead, which I think it is, then please start by making even the basic works work as one would expect to BREAK = PAUSE. STOP = STOP. Phew! It was difficult. Fact. Fixed. Travel! Currently, this design is counterproductive, not intuitive, helps no one and only lost valuable time while the Publisher must quickly "solve" the problem.

Well, I thought I'd do two things here:

    (1) start a thread with as many keywords as possible so that this "numbers" question in this forum and in Google searches. I hope that soon when you google 'First multicam Pro' this will be the first topic on the first page. My hope is that I can put a nice 'RESOLVED' or 'FIXED' label on this thread, one day next (and I'll for sure!). If this is the case, it is a testament to the theory of wheel ran combined with a small web analytics.

    (2) do this a new thread, rather than continue in the old thread because it is time to ask a new question: how long will it take for Adobe a problem when its design is essentially broken causing users to have to do a 'fix' every time? At the moment it happens two years! This isn't a feature request... his service broken in the first. A drawing... necessary. I can't listen to Adobe and they care about certain things, but how fast they act? This is my real question.

I wonder if this thread has more "we have more important things to fix" or "is not that big of a problem" or "this isn't a problem at all, it's an oddity" or "you can just go back and correct the problem, whenever you have to stop because it takes only a few seconds' or 'its not broken its designed to be counter-productive and frustrating for users.  Time will tell. Well, if you do mulitcam changes as much as I do then these "seconds" are added. It is designed this way, and then Adobe, I ask you this question: If you hit pause on your TV remote button, and he stopped at the TV live, but also turned the volume all the way down and changed the channels... always so would you call that a quirk? It would be wise to design a remote control like that? I would say the key on your remote control does not work well and should be fixed. Yes, you could address it quickly by pressing the button "last" or "reminder" and then hit the volume up button, but shouldn't the key BREAK of your remote did exactly cela and only that: BREAK?

    Please respond... to apparently numbers.

Have you tried what a user suggested earlier in the thread? Although it takes a little getting used to, it works for me perfectly.

"Before to stop playback, press the 0 (zero) on the keyboard and then you can stop the game (with the SPACEBAR) without cutting in the timeline."
