  I am struggling with this and I think I'm missing something and I need help please.

  I've got following members:

  Parent1 (label only)

  Child1 (Store) (+)

  Child2 (Store) (+)

  Child3 (Store) (+)

  
  

  I have on my essbase.cfg IMPLIED_SHARE APP1 FAKE and I stopped/started essbase server and application.

  
  

  On my data form I rank IDESCENDANTS (Parent1). My problem is that with this setup I am not able to write about the first child in the dataform.

  
  

  If I put only the descendants of Parent1 I am able to enter data on the first member.

  
  

  Is there a way to have my parents like label only, on the form and still be able to enter data on the first child?  Am I missing something?

  I have a question, I have just compiled my forms on my pc, then I needed to move it to the production server of my client, but I get this error, it is my case:

  You can also move a FMX created on 32-bit Unix to 64-bit Unix.

  Yes, a form compiled with 32-bit platform must be recompiled against the same platform.eg. production Server 32-bit.

  Therefore, if the production is 64-bit, all forms must be compiled against Production Server 64-bit otherwise you'll receive this error.

  How to do the same thing in OEL5.

  The above applies to Windows (if you want to open the file on the Windows client machine fmb and compile - generate the fmx file). If you are on Linux, you need not to do the same thing, just the env file source application and compile the form (question "echo $FORMS60_PATH" to make sure that all the relevant directories are in the path).

  I created the directory of the root OEL5 ABC & copied all the pll, TEMPLATE.fmb & APPSTAND.fmb files in $AU_TOP/resources directory ABC but how to add ABC to FORMS_PATH in OEL5?

  As mentioned above, it is not required on Linux. However, if you want to add the ABC directory you issue:

  $ export FORMS_PATH =: $PATH

  I created in addition to the forms of planning data and I want to know if it is possible to move through different records a copy of these forms of data without first producing necessrily a copy as (save as).
  Can someone help me on this issue?

  Your options are to use the option "Save as" and then "move".
  or
  The form using FormDefUtil.cmd utility, edit the XML to point to a different directory, and then import it back into export.

• Only read the columns in planning Webform

  
  Hi all

  I create a form with the period (month jan, Feb and March) and members of the custom called Type dimension in the columns.

  Members of Type dimension I selelcted is Type1, Type2, Adj Type1 and Type2 Adj.

  My requirement is that I want to show Type1 and Type2 columns as READ ONLY where users should not enter data in these two coulmns.

  Is it possible to achieve this requirement.  I use 11.1.2.2 planning version.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Please follow the steps below to make columns read-only in Hyperion special 11.1.2.2.

  (1) to open the form in edit mode

  2) click on the Layout tab, the Layout tab is open. Please click on the underside of the column you want to do in 'read only' (A, B, C, etc.), if you have three columns, then you might see A, B and C.

  Note: The mouse cursors are very sensitive in the latest version, if you click on the right place, you will get the necessary decorum, otherwise it will appear not all properties.

  In this example, let B column read-only. Exactly to move the cursor to 'B' and click on the right side, you can see a lot of action, click on 'Properties of Segment' and under this 'Read only' option, select this check box to make the column read-only.

• Narrator will not read word document it only reads the toolbars, why?

  When you use the Narrator, I can't get the Narrator to read text in my word document.  It says that the document is empty, when it is complete the text. The Narrator reads only the toolbars and other boxes out loud.  Can you give help step by step with this question. I tried to follow all the instructions under the Narrator, but not luck.  I have a version of the track window 7 and new computer could anyone.

  We would like to know the problem happens only with Word documents. Try to use the Narrator with any other application as a text written on the Notepad or worpad and check.

  We want to create read only one schema with dynamic read-only access to a source schema.

  We knew that the steps to create read only schema, but we would like to know, how grant us only read access for new objects created in the source schema?

  Let's say, test pattern source today has 100 items. We have created reading scheme (test_ro) with select on / execute on for all 100 objects in the schema source (test).

  After a week, another 30 new objects are created on the test. Now how we automate reading only grants for these 30 new items to read only one schema (test_ro) of the schema of the source (test)?

  A simple approach could be like below. Readonly_role is a user-defined. You can add any number of privileges in the execute stmt.

  but before 15 days I did no changes in my PC, but showing me this error when I run the form in the browser

  FRM-40010 can't read Street form.

  I'm not able to understand what is Street.  my form name is attendance that why it is showing the street.

  2nd thing

  I suggest, if you have installed a software like: Antivirus / spamwares i-e, please uninstall and restart your computer and also make sure that you have written a correct path to the file .env without any space, because space some time create more confusion.

  I created the task UP. The task takes in the counter of an encoder input and converts it to angular position. Always use the DAQmxReadCounterF64 function to read the meter? I'm guessing that I made and that the function returns the angular position, rather than the raw numbers. Not sure if.

• MP3 Podcast... can ONLY read the markers?

  I know it's a long shot, but it will save a lot of production time.
  
  I have a bunch of audio chapter (assembled in Soundtrack Pro and Final Cut) exported in MP3 podcast format and wonder if there is a way to read the chapter markers as points of start/stop for navigation. I have no idea what to tell Actionscript watch dethrone doesn't seem like there is a corresponding MP3 ID3 seem property to indicate markers, but perhaps that I forgot something.

• illegible codes in the form of planning and the issue of re-encoding

  Hi experts,

  I implement planning 11.1.2.3 with EPMA, Unicode mode. Here, we had a few problems.

  1.illegible codes in the comments of the form.

  When I right click in any cell shape and some comments, I can put comments. If we put the English that will be fine, but if we put the Chinese, the first element of comments (not first character) will appear in unreadable codes. We have tried many times and found the following regularity.

  • The first comments that we put in Chinese aura of unreadable codes, the other (the third second\ and so on) Chinese comments are right
  • If leave us the comments entry status, then right-click and select comments once again, the first comments that we put this time will again be unreadable codes. (Perhaps in the same cell we had already put a few comments before)

  2. re-encoding problem

  In planning EPMA mode, if we set one member of scenario (perhaps other sparse dimension as well) dynamics and two passes that would cause an error: cannot retrieve the data to no response. She is the example:

  Account: (dense)

  A1 (Dynamic)

  -A101

  -A102

  Scenario: (Sparse)

  Real

  Budget

  S1 (Dynamics, two assists), formula: actual/Budget;

  We need the A1-> S1 = A1-> real/A1-> Budget, NOT of A101-> S1 + A102-> S1;

  So we should set S1 as two right passes?

  But if so put us and deploy and refresh, retrieving data will not answer.

  We also found the following regularity.

  • Mode classic, what we have will NOT cause no response when retrieving data
  • EPMA mode, when we have defined two passes in S1 (or other script) and deploy, update, the problem occurs
  • EPMA mode, if we DON'T re-Dimension libriary value encoding, but change the property of Member S1 in two passes in EAS preview and save, will NOT cause any response when retrieving data.

  I don't know if anyone had seen these questions before and tell me how to solve. Thank you!

  You are trying to retrieve a large number of members in the form of data? Its all dynamic calc, it will take time to recover.

  Try to recover data for a smaller combination and see if its working,

  If its working for a smaller combination and gel for more then its value increase the dynamic calc calculator cache.
