  2. Download the Package of troubleshooting Windows 10 "show or hide updates" (http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab).
  3. Change the Windows Update Services automatic (delayed start) parameter to the manual.
  • In Control Panel, select administrative tools, and open Services.
  • Go to Windows Update and double-click it to view its properties.
  • Click on stop to stop the service to run.
  • Change the Startup Type to manual, and then click OK.
  4. Install version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  If you receive a warning dialog box about the replacement of a newer version of the software, accept it.
  • NOTE: You have NO need to uninstall version 11 before installing version 9 or 10.  The presence of a version of the driver is required to 'upgrade' (or demote in this case).
  5. Run the Windows 10 Troubleshooting Package 'Show or hide updates' and hide the updates of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  (This will block your system automatically reinstall or display of updates for version 11 of the pilot).
  6. Change back the setting of Windows Update Services to manual automatic (delayed start).
  7. Restart your computer.

  Open Device Manager, expand the 'System devices' section, and then find "Intel Management Engine interface", double click it and go to the driver tab, and then click on "roll back driver" button, it will come back to the previous driver.

  You can do most any device in the device manager driver.

  If roll back driver button is gray, then there is no older driver to restore.

  I'm new but I searched on this forum as well as the apple support forum to get answers.  The problem, I tried to correct is limited to the Wireless business.   I'm under 10.6.7 OSX and Windows 7 64-bit.  Now I can constantly reproduce the problem of the printer goes offline on a Mac, but the D410a works perfectly with Windows 7 64 bit.  I can stop the windows computer or put it to sleep and to restore power or he wake D410a functions perfectly.

I learned the hard way with Vista Ultimate (32) that "sleep" and "hibernate" cuts the power of USB, such as UPS devices with battery backup. It was a bad function, since my UPS runs the software that automatically stops the system if necessary. However, when the Vista computer went to 'sleep', the connection to the ASI has been cut, while the UPS is no longer communicates with the central unit. Therefore, if stopped and directed were needed when the system is idle / "asleep", UPS might not make it. The only solution I could find was to create a custom power plan that stops the CPU (and that only updates the display on screensaver for X minutes and then turns off the screen).   Right click on the USB device device manager concerned and select properties then power management and clear the option to Turn off energy-saving and activate the option to wake up from its sleep.
