• Report incorrect style sheet

  I imported several pages html as subjects in my project in Robohelp HTML 6 from another project. They brought with them the stylesheet which they had initially used. Using the properties/appearance, I've changed the style of the original sheet (let's call it OldProject.css) to that used for the rest of the project (let's call it NewProject.css). The changes of style used, but they should have been, and by looking at the HTML code, I see NewProject.css and not OldProject.css. But when I opened the Tools menu in the main window of RoboHelp and select reports/Style Sheets, it shows OldProject.css with the items imported under him. I deleted OldProject.css from the directory of the project, and it seems always, but with an 'X' indicating, I suppose, missing. I get no error when compiling, and everything seems ok. It's just that style sheet report persists in showing the former and now unused stylesheets for imported subjects, and OldProject.css always displays in the project manager.
  
  This behavior persists after that I finished and restart RoboHelp HTML.
  
  I wanted to use the report to see if I had missed everything when you change the style sheets, but it is not useful because it insists on the fact that I missed all.
  
  Is this a bug in the program, or I do something wrong?
  

  Try this.

  Generate a CHM output even if it is not the one you normally use. Just use the default settings. Who updates the HHP file.

  Delete the CPD and XPJ files and open the project using the file HHP to see if this corrects the database, which can be the cause of this problem. Make a copy of the project and see if it corrects the problem.

  If Yes, then read the topic on my site on the opening of projects to do the things that need to be checked.

  You can change styles programmically or dyanamically if you like.

  There are a few steps to be implemented.

  1. create your different style sheets and place them in a folder (best practices).

  2. in your browser Flex 'right click' on your style sheets and select "Compiler CSS to SWF" for each of them.

  USAGE EXAMPLE:

  I created a drop down list component and loaded in a collection of static array data provider for

  [Bindable]

  Then I call this function which is triggered off the coast of the event of 'change' from the drop-down list box.

  Now, of course I you suggested adding a slightly more dynamic situation in the statement "if/else" this encoded version of irreversibly, but should work the same.

  The search page fine b/c online, it is embedded in a file with a style sheet but too small in development. I think that there is a simple/stupid question, but I can't find the solution. Thank you.

  In DW, pressing F1 (help) and look at design-TIME Style sheets.  I use them quite often when a layout does not play nice with the design view.

  Otherwise, go to view > Style rendering > disable the display Styles to work with text without style.  No way effects the actual page in Live View or preview.

  I want to know how to change the color of a layer of external style sheet?

  Because my homepage "Sidebar" and the colors would be the same for all pages, only the content of pages would be different.  If I want to change a color of my side web pages, I need to learn how do in one place thanks to the external Style sheet.

  I'm ambling to connect my external stylesheet and change the H1 tag and give it different colors. But I was not successful with the change of the color of a layer on which my content is sitting around.

  I took the color of my HTML page and gave the same name to the layer in my external stylesheet with the same color.

  You must use a unique ID on each page, then you can define dependent styles / conditionals:

• teststand 3.5 xml style sheets

  back in 2008, I ran a few tests using 3.5 TestStand and LabVIEW 7.1

  I am now under TestStand 4.2.1; but the need to revisit an old report

  When I try to open the xml report - I get an error:

  "Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Fix the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later."

  I think that the style sheet cannot be located. These style sheets are available for earlier versions of Teststand? and maybe some simple instructions about where it should be located in the directory of files so that everything plays well.

  Hey Laurent,.

  It seems that the XML files created with an absolute path to the style sheet. If you just copy the XML files without first packaging to distribution, it is perhaps what is the question.

  If you have access to the original system, you could package the XML files for redistribution by using the standalone tool XML Pack.exe, also available through the menu Tools (files XML/HTML Package for Distribution...).

  Alternatively, you can modify your XML files to point to the style sheet that you don't have on your system.

  The first line of the XML file will be the location of the stylesheet in it--you can change this path to point to the stylesheets provide with TestStand v4.2.

  I was placing my CSS stylesheet in Shared components/Cascading Style Sheets. And reference as follows < link type = "text/css" rel = "stylesheet" media = "screen" href = "#WORKSPACE_IMAGES #app300.css" >.

  For the weeks everything seemed to work very well. Changes to app300.css in Cascading Style sheets. Clear the cache. And see my change.

  But suddenly it has stopped working. Do not take my updates more precisely. I have firebug and look at the file in CSS and don't see my changes. APP300. CSS does not change. Then, I deleted app300.css of Shared components/Cascading Style Sheets. The file is deleted. Is no longer in the Panel of Cascading Style Sheets. But the old file still appears when I look in firebug.

  Just a cramp brain for me. I know it's probably obvious, but I can't understand it.

  If your file always recides in the database, you can try to remove a procedure from the wwv_flow_api package:

  Set serveroutput on

  You can run this SQL developer help / Toad or any program you use, but I don't think that you can run in the SQL for Apex workshop.

  Run as owner of the workspace.

  First part sets the engine apex point to the id of the correct workspace in Apex, change "APEX040000" to match your version of the Apex.

  Second part is the procedure that should remove your file from the database.

  Make sure you post your changes and try to re-download your css file.

  OK, so where is it?

  Nothing I can find on the menus offer this option reads regular Frame or XML mode.

  Also, when I find it, I need to load css in Dreamweaver? If I should not be able to use the XML view?

  No Colum, I found since then. (In fact I found a video by Bernard l. a. which explains a bit).

  In the module 'Release' are 5 choices (epub, html, etc.) and selecting one highlights a button for settings. Change the settings has TWO tabs, one called Style mappings, which is where the button for import and export styles.

  There a button for Automap paragraph Styles which I will experiment with the next.

  Jon answer is close to everything. Just a minor change and it will work perfectly.

  In the properties of the CSS designer pane, select the show the value checkbox. That will eliminate the need for any scrolling. Simply click inside the color in the style sheet, and the CSS designer displays a color box showing you the color.

  Another technical, but not as effective, is to open the active panel, and then select the icon colors. The Panel displays all the colors used in the site. That they are listed in numerical order.

• Creation of existing text Style sheets

  Can I get advice on what would be the best way to create and apply style sheets to a document that was put out without any? My Art Director is more than a dozen pages of type real w/o of style sheets. It is a pretty basic plan with headings, subtitles and copy them of body. There is no "space after" applied to all hard paragraph according to heads of void, and nothing breaks applied style sheets. All texts has applied standard paragraph. I know how to create style sheets based on what he has created, but then how could ask the rest of the pages without having to physically format everything? Thanks for any help on this.

  That you have your paragraph style sheets set up, you can use find/replace to apply to your text. Just let the search fields and white changes and look for the attributes that make a unique style and replaces all instances of that formatting to your paragraph style that matches. This will leave only the formatting, but will affect the style sheets. (You can, of course, include the attribute "space after" in your styles). If your Art Director used double returns to create space after parapgraphs, you can go back after the application of your styles and use the built-in GREP search to remove additional returns.

  I submitted a request for support on this topic - but because I didn't say that my site is completely out of line I fear that it may cost me a few days.

  The first screenshot is the rear part of the template of the page in the screenshots, 2 and 3 BC.

  Screenshot 2, you will see that things look right in the < head > section, however it is only when I do a hard refresh on Chrome and Firefox.

  3 screenshot shows me a < head > altered section when I go on the site normally (or do a soft drink), and this seems to happen when I check a number of other sites in BC, I worked.

  Anyone got any ideas on why this is happening?

  I use a WiFi dongle, no matter what it will affect?

  My problem is that the program editing of CSS that I use the style sheet needs external link so it can modify it through substitutions. Worked until today.

  I just checked a few other sites not hosted in British Colombia, and it seems that it could be linked to the wi - fi dongle. weird but true - it's the only thing that has changed since the normal search of abnormal.

  I'm trying to style text using paragraph and character style sheets, I built. When I create a new text box and import text from a Word file, all the text I have import default values to one of my character style sheets. Before importing the text, I have check the cursor inside the empty box and the paragraph style is standard paragraph and character style is 'none '. Yet, when I import text, it is always default to a specific character style I created.

  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

  Check your paragraph styles to see that you do not use the nested styles or GREP styles except when you need it. You can have a nested style that does not turn off the coast.

  While your description indicates this isn't the problem, it is worth checking. There is a bug in InDesign, where it applies a default character imported text style. You set the default character style by selecting a character style while no text block is selected and that you not change any text. If there is a default character style, click None for the value None as the default character style.

• Should I use for a model of embedded style sheet or external style sheet?

  IM building my first website. It consists of five pages. I'm looking for just tips on how I should approach it. Should I build the first page, and then create a template to use on the rest of the site.

  And also im a bit confused about when to use a style sheet. If I create a model using an embedded or external style sheet.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I would go with external to the model style sheet - if you need to make a change later to the CSS, there is only one file to download, not all pages associated with the model.
