OP 6 problem blackBerry smartphones... Help, please. Battery pull does not resolve. Verizon. Sufficient free space.

Just installed op 6 and all in all, am pretty happy with it. The only problem I seem to have is that my themes are gone. My shows Desktop Manager to install them. Shows list of applications to be installed, but they are not found. When I change to another theme in options, the only presentation of theme is the theme of Verizon. Any ideas? I have a business theme that I like to use. This is for version 6 (she claims). Please help me out here. Thank you in advance... Jim

He didn't is no themes OS 6 available yet, even for OS 6 theme generator kit has yet been released yet.

Then, you're stuck with that for now, no amount of battery pull restarts will make your works of old themes and also done - I'd say remove them from the unit.

    I was wondering if someone could help I have tried everything to fix the error 552 on my curve 8520 but nothing works, and now the phone will not connect to my laptop, I tried apploader now it says device current is updated, office says unable to connect to the device (from the outset) software and the phone does nothing except sitting on a white screen with "software reloading 552" written on it.

    As your device does not detect that you can try the Application loader to force detection of your device to load the operating system, please see the Knowledge Base Article:

    I have the Pink Pearl and I recently had a problem with him is so frustrating! I don't know how it happened, and I don't really know how to fix... but all of a sudden my e-mail inbox rest in set mode highlighted. If I only have one message in my Inbox then I can open it, but if I have more than one, it brings to light whenever I have to use the trackball to scroll and if I click on a message, it asks if I want to delete all messages, Mark opened or mark everything as not open. I can't open my messages so I always have to remove whatever it is in my Inbox, even the very important emails I need to keep for reference and just hope that I don't get a single message at a time so I can open them.

    Help! I just want to throw the phone I'm so irritated!

    The golden rule for BlackBerry is that if it's something you don't like, remove the battery for 30 seconds and then put it back on.  This action resets the unit and usually clears up the problem.  This must be done when the device is turned on.

    If this does not resolve the problem, then it's a hardware problem.

    With the BlackBerry device under voltage, remove the battery for about five minutes, and then reinsert the battery to restart.

They are rather a user forum where volunteers try to troubleshoot other kind souls at best.     I was invited to spend my old version fully functional re EBAY 1.03 to EBAY 2.0 so I did and he gave a description of ebay and the application; followed by CONTACT SUPPORT?

    Then was invited to upgrade a newer version of BBM surveys did this successfully and fully functional.

    The problem lies in which EBAY does not, not accessbile, but yet when I see 'my applications' it appears as INSTALLED.

    My Curve 8520 not long ago and fear I'm kinda a dinosaur techno so please bear with me! Wonder if anyone can help with this.

    While browsing the internet my "slider" has suddenly stopped working. My "cursor" - the small black arrow - is still there but when hover over an area of research for example and "click on" my trackball that nothing happens, even if the little hand symbol appears on a link if I "click" the trackball that nothing happens. I discovered I can press return when the hand appears and it goes on the link, but this is unnecessary when only the arrow appears.

    Its the kind of thing that could possibly be fixed by a battery pull.

    With the BB powered, remove the battery and keep it for a few minutes. Let us know how you go.

    I stopped using the service blackberry months ago and continued to use wireless internet. All the app except bbm and email services were working, but all of a sudden since yesterday im unable to use internet. I can't use the same browser, it does not work. Internet WiFi and works very well. The phone connects to the wifi, but said always internet is not available. ------, Ive has rebooted, changed quite sims. Someone help me pls.

    You must have BlackBerry data Plan for sure to allow BBM, push e-mail and other services provided by BlackBerry. You can call your BlackBerry data Plan Provider enabled for your account.

  • BlackBerry smartphones help please! no synchronization of calendar after upgrade to 6.0

    I have a torch 9800 and after upgrading my calendars are no longer synchronized. I have a calendar that synchronizes with google sync and another that synchronizes through my business account (also a google via a University account). I checked both calendars on google and they're synchronize my computers to gmail very well accounts. They are simply not sync from gmail to the blackberry.

    I tried without downgrading from my blackberry to the lowest version of 6.0, but it has not set. I also tried several soft resets.

    Any suggestions? I really need these calendars to sync!

    I had some problems with Google Sync does not.  I searched the Google message boards, and the suggestion was to uninstall the Google Sync on the BlackBerry program and reinstall it.  It worked for me (I have a flashlight).  Good luck!

    After having a bad start to my 1st 8310 I flipped to receive another ebay replacement (2nd hand) logo is O2, but it says that it has been unlocked to all networks by 3, I have a vodafone contract sim card - put it in I tried to download blackberry app as it was not preloaded, I went on the site sent me an e-mail link , which didn't work so I went out and bought a USB - downloaded Office softwafe to try to download it this way, I just get a message saying myphone does not - but my last 8310 has! can ayone help me?

    You need to update the operating system on your device.  Follow the instructions (exactly) in the first post of this thread to update your operating system later for the 8310.  This should solve your problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones looking reboot / battery pull App for BES / what permissions are needed?

    I tried to use again Me in my 9900, but is not compatible with BES. Not all the permissions the application, but it does not work. It just hangs. I asked the seller the necessary permissions, and they seem to be completely put out on this issue. They simply said of all the permissions must be enabled. On the right, as the computer SCIENCE Department will go for this.

    I don't mind paying for an app if it works and if I can get a clear indication of what permissions requires.

    If you use a reboot / battery traction app with BES, which do you use, and what is the permissions it requires?

    I just found out that ALT BACKSPACE of RIGHT SHIFT causes a reboot. Now, I have no need of a battery pull application.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9900 just does not load

    I bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months and I never had problems charging my battery. But the other day, when I got home and charged, when I woke up, Led - the RED light flashes and custom light up. I used another charger (nine) but still the same. I tried to plug it into my laptop for charging, but still not good. BB office says this device was not connected (since obviously he doesn't have the power). I searched online and I tried the "kickstart" they say where I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove the battery for 10 minutes and put the battery back and wait another 2 hours - still not good . Although when I tried, I saw the icon charge for a few seconds during the first 2 hours, but do not see it again.

    Anyone have a suggestion? Do you want to know if I need to replace my battery or have this problem? We have no Center service BB here in the Philippines. The trader would normally send unit to Singapore to have checked/fixed. I can't afford not to have my phone because of my work and I have files that are stored in...

    In waiting for someone to answer, I did some research and tried them out, but so far, I'm still not able to turn onn/load my camera.

    Here's what I've tried so far:

    1 pull the battery loading and put back on the

    2. the "kickstart" than what a qualified member where in while now the end call key, remove the battery and the light RED LED while that appear and immediately press call button for 3 seconds and press the end button again. He advised to do 7-12 times and told me that does not work the first time... but try again. (I tried to do this several times)

    3. a publication that he had his dependents for like 2 days and removed the battery every 2-3 hours. (did not have my phone which support long however )

    4 force detect the BlackBerry smartphone by using the Application Loader. It was also published in KB10144of Blackberry Knowledge Base.

    FYI: guests of the message I have seems different from what has been published well since I don't have the chance to reinsert the battery. I was prompted to unplug the unit and close the application before installation. After you restart, DM didn't register my device. Did not have the option 'new attempt/Update ".

    (I know it's funny you reply to my own post, but I'm really desperate now.) And hoping that someone must answer, at least you know what I've done so far)

    Main applications I use are BBM Whatsapp Google Maps etc.

    Basically, I'm trying to open an application and my phone freezes, I wait and get the untrapped exception error message. This happens with ALL applications, including surveys BBM, record Messages, clock, Facebook, phone. I tried a battery pull, he starts upp and the error messages come through quite the same problem is still there. I tried connecting to the office to try an update of the operating system, but I can't connect because it connects forever. so I can't do anything at all with my phone. It all started when whatsapp froze on me followed by a few other apps do the same thing, so I tried a battery pull.
