• Overlay/opacity problem?

  Hello

  I can't with 'borders' perceptible compositions existing within a main Composition.

  I have created 3 distinct flare compositions and brought the main composition (sky). I reduced the size/scale of flare and placed them in different places on the screen. However, they have noticeable "borders". I played a bit with opacity and where changed in order of hierarchy, lights are placed in the composition but it makes no difference.

  I have attached a jpeg image to illustrate the problem.

  Can someone advise?

  

  I have to differ with Dave and Mylenium on this problem. You have a Catch 22 with the standard lens Flair. The size of flair is calculated according to the size of the layer. Lens flair extend not also beyond the boundaries of the layer. If creating a solid that is 5 times the size of your computer and scale down to 20% is adapt the computer and you apply lens flair, the size of the lens flair will be exactly the same as a lens flair applied do a solid which is the size of the model and the scale to 100%. There is no work around that will not solve this problem because the flair of lens is calculated based on the size of the layer and the flair of the lens will not extend beyond the boundaries of the layer. More layer, the greater the flair of the lens.

  

  COMP 1 is the default lens flair applied to a layer 5 times the size of the model and scaling to fit, Comp 2 is the default lens flair applied to a solid that is the same size as the model and 100%. They are the same size.

  Growth limits will not work with the flair of the lens. Before dialing or nesting that a huge model will not work either because the flair of the lens will not extend beyond the boundaries of the layer, and if you do the largest layer then the lens flair will get bigger.

  The only real solution is to control the size of the lens with the brightness flair and check the position with the centre of Flair. You need to rethink your approach or create your lens flair using a different technique.

• Win 10, PS CC and problems Wacom Bamboo (sliding opacity, brush jumps back to start value)

  I have just updated to Windows 10 and I'm generally pretty happy with it. BUT - I have a weird problem in Photoshop CC (last updated).

  I use a Wacom Bamboo Fun. If I try to change the opacity of a layer, or change the size of the brush (the sliding function) the value changes to the starting value. This only happens if I try to make a change less than 10%, for example: 100% to 98%, or 92%. And this only happens when I use the tablet.

  If I use the mouse, it works fine.

  I have already reset the preference file photoshop and reinstalled the driver for wacom.

  Any ideas?

  In my computer, I have a precomp with text and 3-layer psd. I have alterations of opacity from 100% to 0%. The text layer and a another layer PDS following correctly. 2 layers of pds only. UNLESS I am trun off the pixelation continue, I want to do. NO 3D or anything like that. The layers while 1 psd doc.

  I think you are saying are text layers that are nested as a model in your main computer. If there are nested compositions, and then switch you to turn on and off is collapse of the Transformations not continuous Rasterizations. The features are different. Collapse of the Transformations change the rendering of the nested layers order or compounds. 3D layers, this means that the camera in the main computer interacts with the 3D object as if it were in the main computer when the CR is enabled. When CR is off, the camera has no effect on the nested layer but it interacts as if the layer has been 2D. Normal transformation controls should operate in the nested layer regardless of the setting of the CR. The exception is when you have a layer effect applied to a layer nested is to change the order of rendering with CR out around and the effect of the layer is applied after the opacity effect and change the opacity of the layer in the main computer has no effect.

  There are two ways to solve this problem. If you want to keep the effect of the layer in the nested comp and need on CR then you can just go on the computer, selected the nested model layer, right-click and select Show all. Even with no effect applied layer opacity works now as expected because as the Layer Styles is on completed the transformation of the layer.

  The other option would be to copy and then delete the layer styles in the nested model and paste them to the layer into the main computer.

• Is this a bug? Resizing of content with an opacity box problems.

  I was wondering if this is a bug? I tried to get a box behind a text box to resize according to the amount of content that is located in an area of text above it. It works fine when the box located below the text box is set to 100% opacity. However when I adjust the box below for less than 100% opacity stop box resize with the text box. My questions are is this a bug or intended, and if it's a bug is there a workaround or will be fixed soon?

  Thank you for bringing this place. We were able to reproduce the problem, and it was recorded as a Bug.

  It seems to be a problem when opacity is reduced in the toolbar at the top.

  However, to work around the problem, I would suggest you use the opacity under the filler panel option.

  To do this, you will need to select the rectangle in the background, and then click filler panel that appears on the right side. And you can change the opacity of there value.

  Please take a look at the screenshot below that might help:

  

  When the opacity value is passed to this filler panel, the property of the rectangle to resize with text is preserved.

  We recorded a bug for the issue and I hope that it will be fixed in future versions of Adobe Muse.

• Problem of browser compatibility with CSS in DW opacity

  Hello... I am very new to Dreamweaver, (fresh outta several years of photoshop) try to learn it and have very little experience with HTML/CSS coding. I'm doing a translucent black rectangle (drawn using CSS instead of using an image of a black rectangle) which is over a plaid background (background image of the tag body with background repeat.)

  In order to get this black box as transparent semi, I searched the web and found that I needed to use the Opacity property in the CSS (makes sense to me). So I hand coded because Dreamweaver didn't "opacity" as one options in the small drop down menu deal. After I did it, Dreamweaver has me in the "Browser compatibility" Panel that the 'Opacity' property was incompatible with virtually all browsers, including Firefox, Safari and Opera (mac guy). Not only that, but my black box was not translucent in the 'Design' of the preview window thing.

  Just for fun, I decided to open the page in Firefox - AND IT WORKED. He showed my black rectangle like I wanted, stretched and the ADJUSTMENT of the opacity that I wanted. I opened it in Opera and Safari, which also displays my page as I wanted.

  My questions are the following:

  1 - Why is Dreamweaver saying this opacity setting will not work with these browsers when it actually does?

  2-Why don't show up in the 'Design' preview opacity setting window but don't place in real browsers?

  3 - Why is opacity not one of the features that descends when coding (like width, height, margin etc..)

  In any way, please don't hate not me I'm so freakin new and I tried to search this forum and on the internet for the answer to my question and found nothing. My code is below:

  There are dozens of CSS attributes that can (and should) be handwritten. Problem with them is that, as shadows of text, they do not appear in all browsers. I have 9 different browsers installed and test pages in EACH of them before I "Finish" site or a page of a model construction.

  I try to compile for Firefox, personal preference, but I do things that work with IE because he still holds the market share (46% to 42% FF IE), and I'll only with designs that work in IE, FF, NS, Opera, Safari and Chrome.

  As for your questions.

  1. the verification of compatibility is probably common at the time of construction. I do not know if this item updates such as browsers, but I tend to think that it isn't. I use CS4 and there have not been updated for it in almost a year. Firefox has released 4.0, published 11 Opera and Safari 5 has released since then. The update would have found and downloaded something if it were available.

  2. I could only guess. Text shadows do not appear in Design view (or IE) but they do in the browser preview. It's just a quirk of the user interface, which means 'trial and error' is the only way to get what you want.

  3. Quick Access - selects which are located in the drop-down menus DW or popouts is the most common CSS designs and have been proven to work with all browsers at the time of your particular of DW build.

• Problem with cross dissolve and opacity

  I noticed that chained acted goofey for awhile but overcame all problems by manually adjusting the opacity settings.  However, this time I can't cooperate. Note the line appearing below the part of the sentence "the plan of the recommendation of nutrients" in the image below.  This line or a similar line appears as cross dissolve in each other or if they are autonomous and opacity settings they fade in and out.  The flashing of the lines is sporadic and changes as I have to make adjustments.  I'm going to 'fix' a place, but they will be blink to other points of the line of time and in different areas.

  Any ideas?

  

  Let me guess: that reflects the small table is created using the Flip Vertical, the right effect? Yep, seen this before bug: lines and title flashing in the monitor program and final export

  An effect of harvest for the reflection clip and crop a few pixels out of the lower part of it. The line should disappear. If that doesn't solve it, after return.

• Problem with opacity.

  I'm TRYING to create a "black" area which is semi - transparent, using Photoshop CS4 (the latest version) to place the text on (on a web site) so that the bottom can only be seen showing through.

  I am saving it as PNG with varying degrees of opacity file, no matter what I do, it (a little) looks OK in Dreamweaver CS4, but in the likes of Safari and Opera, it is 100% NON-transparent!

  What could possibly be going wrong here?  I am a novice with Photoshop, but this cannot be so difficult?

  The web page can be seen at http://www.vegasFastAds.com .  If you're watching this, you will see that the text is on a black background to 100%, and the underlying image is not seen showing through at ALL.  In Dreamweaver, the underlying image shows 100%.

  I have attached the blackbackgroung PNG files, in the hope that someone may suggest that the problem is with this file.

  I removed the background color of the CSS, decreased the opacity for box.png another 25% and it works in Firefox, Safari and Opera (see table).

  I think that the problem may be that the png you referenced in the CSS is named newBox.png and not box.png. When I changed that it met.

• Opacity grizzled problem

I'm in the middle of a drawing where I added various colors with variable opacity. all of a sudden I came across a form of color filled but for some reason the opacity slider at the top is grayed out and I can't seem to understand why the life of me.

  Not sure if this is your problem, but if your object is filled with a gradient you will not be able to use transparency directly using the opacity slider.  You must make a transparency mask.

• New problems to update with lower opacity effect

• Image - opacity in the content area - Panel tabs problem

  In the area of the tabs for each "panel" Panel, I would like to than the content area to 65% opacity to reveal the background image slightly.

  However, it makes the images in this area also to 65%. If I play with them in layers, it does the trick but then images show on all tabs!

  Any ideas on how to separate each page, images surface even content norrmal (white in this case) of less than 100% opcacity?

  Set the fill opacity to the content area of the Panel tab, rather than the opacity of the object. ~I1nj1,"m"SC.JJ,"m opacity is defined in the filler panel.

• Problems with opacity of the shape

  I want to draw a number of forms but with an opacity less than 100%.  Whenever I have create a shape although the opacity back to 100%.

  Can someone remind me how you set opacity less than 100% for all the forms I create?  I'm sure that there is a way to do it, but me seems to have forgotten and can not find an obvious way to do it.

  In the palette appearance/Panel, click the Art back to basic appearance/New Art maintains the button appearance until it works. How works the button may seem strange, and it may have changed between versions.

• Problem with the opacity of the brush?

  For a reason, even when I chose one of the default (i.e. hard around 9 pixels) brushes, the brush strokes have a transparent look.  The opacity of the layer is set to 100%, as is the opacity of the brush. The layer is also set to 'Normal '.  I tried to change some of the settings of the brush, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

  Try to reset the Brush tool and also check in the settings of the brush and sure to keep these settings for all the brushes is not checked.

  Check all these parameters up there, even if you have a fuzzy brush cutting as well.
