• DNG converted files won't load is not in windows LR

  I usually use LR on my Mac, but my work recently bought LR for windows (they don't support Mac)

  I downloaded the camera RAW to DNG converter, but when I try to open the files converted in LR, I then see in the preview screen, but when I change the mode to "develop", I get a blue screen, but I can still see the image in the Preview on the left window.

  I have never experienced this on my Mac.

  I hope someone can help :-/

  It looks like you can run into a problem with a GPU/incompatible card not supported. Try the following.

  1. in LR preferences, go to the performance tab

  2. uncheck the 'use graphics processor '.

  3 return to develop LR mode

• Just updated to Firefox 29.01 it does not at all. When I opened it that won't load sites that shows just the busy circle floating around forever. It is unusable.

  28 Firefox worked fine, but when asked a pop up opening firefox update to 29.01 I found there was a lot of security issues for 28 so I've manually updated to the 29.01 by going in "subject, check updates, etc." Once downloaded 29.01 and got told to restart, I restarted firefox. When I opened it, I found that it is unusable. It will not open a single Web site. It does not load my homepage. It has all my before Favorites from the Favorites toolbar, but I can't go to anything. I closed and tried to run cc cleaner as I always do, but I get the message "firefox takes too long to close would you like to force a shutdown", but the forced shutdown does not close it no more. I opened the Task Manager to try to close it from there, but firefox does not appear. I don't know what to do. I am all this typing chrome b/c I can't use the latest version of firefox.   Well, then I can say happily that I'm typing this on firefox yay! I managed to do work, and here's how it is for everyone who is having this problem (well at least this is the solution that finally worked for me). RESTART your computer. NOT simply stop there. It does not work (not for me at least). I rebooted the computer initially there are a few min b/c my was not analysis Norton and I wanted to analyze the new 'new installation' I had to FF. After the computer has been restarted, my norton worked. So I said Hey, maybe I'll give you my FF update 29.0.1 a last try before you install a new firefox, in the hope that maybe restart the computer would have worked. So I opened it and omg he loaded my homepage. It works! In addition, among other first problems I've come across is impossible to bookmark a site. I found the solution. Just go to the upper menu right (it has 3 horizontal lines) and right-click the little star icon that we're used to that means bookmarks. A small menu will appear. Click on "move to the toolbar", and which should put it on the top right of your browser so that you can bookmark things. Hope the tip of restart helps anyone who was having the same problem I was Firefox being unusable! And if you have the bookmark problem, hope it helps you too. Wow. I am so happy that I can finally use FF now! Also, I kept the setting of "no hardware acceleration off the coast." Do not precisely know what that did, but leaving since that works. Oh, one last thing: I closed FF and ran cc cleaner and had NO problem with her telling me that FF would not close. Then restart the computer that solved this way. Yay!

  If you had not used the Speedy PC Pro crapware, there is a very slim chance that you would be able to install the suite McAfee/Verizon again - at least according to McAfee Tier III Support Tech post on this page. But you don't have so there is nothing we can do about it now. [No, System Restore may not "come to the rescue" here.]

  => Let me level with you here: this set of the problem is due to have not entirely - remove the McAfee free version to test which is preinstalled on your computer, years BEFORE the installation of any antivirus application (for example, the suite of Radialpoint) AND BEFORE installation of Windows updates.

  Now the very bad new: the only way to return your computer to a functional & secure State is backup so your personal data (for example, the contents of the My Documents folder;) Favorites of IE; E-mail Client data) then format the hard drive and do a clean install of Windows XP (or buy a computer brand new Windows 7).

• Windows 8 update won't load

  My computer Windows 8 acted as weird after I have updated to 8.1 that according to me. Windows Movie Maker does not recognize the files that it used to recognize. My Google Chrome acted a lot, just like my files. But the worst is that I can not reset my computer to factory settings to solve this problem. When I try to reset it to factory settings, it just says, "no changes."

  It is very frustrating and so now I have to see if my computer update will fix all this. My computer tells me that I am due for an update when I login, but when I go to

  Settings PC > Windows Update

  The Windows Update screen will load, load and load and I'll it let it charge for hours and hours, but it keeps loading. Never, he shows me the update I need. There is also no error code for the update because it won't load at all.

  It's frustrating because I don't understand why I can't reset my computer completely or update. I did the research for hours and hours to solve this problem and I became irratible trying to fix computers.

  I think that all this comes from the update and I can't fix it. I had a lot of people try and fix it, but usually, I'm able to fix computers or searching for the answer to fixing it, but not this time.

  To better understand the issue, I would need more information on your side.

  1. What is the number of brand and model of the computer? (So that I can help you find the device drivers on the site of computer manufacturer)

  2. what measures all troubleshooting have you tried?

  This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
  1. lack of Windows updates.
  2. If the device drivers are not updated.
  3 corrupt system files.

  Before you start the troubleshooting steps allows you to download and install the latest device drivers for all devices in the computer manufacturer's website. Check if it helps. If the problem persists, try the steps listed here and see if it helps:

• Once I updated to Firefox 11, I can't open the pdf files. It's more the computer, snow leopard and lion and more than one Web site.

  I've updated to Firefox 11 and now I can't open the PDFs Online. This has happened on more than 1 computer, using the two OS 10.6.8 and OS 7.0 and on more than one Web site. I tried to uncheck "block pop-up windows" in preferences, but which did not help.

  Thank you, gentlemen, to find a "solution" to this particular behavior of Firefox. It is really curious that even if the screen is blank, you can indeed save the .pdf Ghost and then open the saved file to view. What is amazing to me is that this issue does not seem to be what makes the hit parade of the problems currently experienced Mozilla. Not everyone will be willing to do a research project extended rather than leave the ship for Safari, etc..
