Open the browser window

Hello world
I want to use a property of behavior to open a video in a small window... No OK no problem here! But I'm getting a problem trying to define where, on my page, I want this browser window to display... without having to hang out every time? I can specify its location

Can I specify its location?

Using JavaScript you can specific to the location of a window dynamically by using the top and left attributes.

CODE EXAMPLE
function openCitationWindow() {}
ciDow = window.open("..) (' / Contents/utility/citation.html ', ' ', 'width = 450 height = 175, top = 300, left = 300');
ciDow.focus ();
}

The position of the top and left attributes where the window opens from the document window that opens the window.

    How I would get the background of the body element to open wide the browser window? I've heard that using an HTML tag or CSS rule that I can put across a background which is placed in the body element without using javascript is that true?

    You could, but why, (she also would work properly, as it is)?

    This size not your background image and that only the window correspond to your design, not your design to adapt to the window. If you want your design to fit a window much easier and not javascript dependent way would be to use page css liquid layouts, (as I said earlier, the background image will not develop unless you use values of %).

  • How to get the text of an onclick / "open the browser window" behavior to look like a link

  • Open the browser window - works does not correctly.

    I click on the thumbnail on my site, I get an enlargement in a new window. Unfortunately, the home page itself redirects also to the enlarged image. You can see it at www.real9.com

    I want the home page to stay where it is, but the biggest window to open it in a new window. I used the browser open in Dreamweaver window to define this link toward the top, but its actually not what I want too.

    Help would be very appreciated, I tried to fix this problem, but without success.

    Thank you.

    It's a way to manipulate. My preference is to leave the link in
    It and add a false return after the OnClick. In this way the
    link will always work if JavaScript is not available.

    To implement your onclick for the link looks like this:

    onclick = "MM_openBrWindow (' pics/inside_large.jpg ',' LargePicture ',' width is 640, Height = 480')" "

    Change to:

    onclick = "MM_openBrWindow (" images/inside_large.jpg ',' LargePicture ',' width = 640, height is 480'); Re false round»

    Attention back to the line. It's all on one line.

  • Set the size of the browser window?

    Can Muse define the size of the browser window when it opens. It's that I want to resize it to a certain size, when it opens the browser window.  I know you can do it using javascript, but it would mean mucking with html/javascript files after publication. I want to know if Muse can do this for me.

    No, Muse is unable to do so. If it were, it might be "mucking around with JavaScript. And at a very general level, this is just a terrible idea. It's bad behavior and rude users to mess with their office meticulously arranged windows. Or in other words: it is the design of web sites for 10 years.

  • How can I open the downloads window only? Or how can I close my browser and open the winodw downloads without an active download?

    I have about a year of downloads to sift through and organize. It means I have many open files that I move the files to the appropriate locations. The last thing I need is to have unnecessarily the browser open between all this mess.

    So... can I close my window of Firefox browser without the automatic reclosing also downloads window? Or better yet, is it possible to just open the downloads window and not the browser window?

    Again, I want to ONLY THE DOWNLOADS WINDOW open, not the browser window. I see that others have asked similar questions, but no one has ever proposed a solution.

    Avoid using the file > exit or the red X button. On the contrary: press Ctrl + j to display the downloads window, and then use Ctrl + w to close the last remaining tabs. The downloads window should remain open. A little luck?

    Looks like you have another program that is running in the background. Google Maps made this for me - it did not close down. To fix this set your homepage to a site that you would not normally visit - doing nothing, so go back to your normal home page and reset it again. Problem should be gone - but I avoid Google maps now because I don't want it to happen again. However, Google Earth is very well.

    Good luck!

  • Open the main window of the browser changes also Action

    I use the action open a browser window on an < a > tag (href) and not only it opens a new browser window, it also changes the content of my main window to the linked page. I can't understand how to do stop doing that! Any help? (FYI - I am a rookie HTML, so be nice)

    Thank you!

    Without seeing the code, it is more difficult to explain.  But basically, if you look at the code just change the href attribute on ' # ' instead of the linked page.  The problem should be solved.

    Have you checked the target line in the properties of the desktop shortcut?

    You can check the suspicious extensions or recently installed unknowns.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance

  • Firefox hangs at startup, or starts a process but does not open the browser.

    In the last few days, Firefox has had many problems.

    When I open it, the window hangs and crashes after a few seconds, if it opens at all. Other times, trying to open Firefox simply won't open the window, but will leave an additional process running in the background that I have to manually shut down via the Task Manager.

    I did a fresh profile. I restarted Firefox. Already got hardware acceleration checked and disabled. still having the same problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times. I ran a scan of my system with Malwarebytes; nothing detected. It is not even a newspaper of the accident. I looked through the support forums, found people with problems similar to mine, but no solution posted for them for some time last month.

    Firefox seems to operate normally if a version 21 installation, which opens toward the top of the browser window. Everything works fine, until I got close the browser and then reopen it.

    Just out of curiosity, this behavior (suspended the launch after a Windows Update) would be a registry problem? If so how could we check?

    Hmm. I think it's nice that my post is a chosen Solution. Now, if someone could just tell me what is the solution... :))
