  Don't know what files you're talking about. The normal folders that appear in the window of Thunderbird Folders pane do not require opening and the drag and drop or pass to the method is the way it works.

  Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  1. a System Restore to before the updates:

  To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

  You must have missed certain permissions.  On the computer KRYCH, right click on the folder and choose Properties.  Then go to the Security tab and check that it is allowed for all.  Also check the tab of sharing for the share permissions, which are similar but distinct.

• whenever I right click on the folder from the library, windows Explorer stops

  I got malfunction lately where almost every time I did a right click on a folder in Windows Explorer, Windows Explorer stops and restarts.  Even the taskbar shuts off and needs to restart.

  My computer has also been "stuttering" a lot lately, where when I start a program window may flash on and out once before, is really happening, or when the computer has been asleep for a while and it is restarted and all the programs I use, the window starts to blink; He will disappear for a few seconds and then reappear.  Usually only once.

  What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?

  So "open" and "Open containing folder" in the menu contextual in the window Download Manager are grayed out then it means that the file is no longer in the original download location and they have been removed by anti-virus software or cleaning.

  It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupt downloaded files or otherwise interferes with the download of files.
  
  Try disabling analysis in real time (live) files in your software anti-virus temporarily to see if that makes working download.

• Changed the name of a bookmark in a folder, now when I try to open the file, it tries to open every bookmark in the file.

  I have a folder of bookmarks in the toolbar. I changed the name of one of the bookmarks in that folder. The next time I tried to open the file, I had (and continue to receive) a message saying that I'm about to open 47 tabs, and this can slow down the firefox. But for Edit or delete buttons are greyed out! So anything that can be changed is the default action is open or find it.
