  A file with FXR and FXM file extensions is a Document received from WinFax.

  You can open the FXR and FXM file by double clicking on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file.   If no program opens, the FXR and FXM file, then you have probably an installed application that can view and/or edit FXR and FXM files.

  You can use a Notepad or another text editor to open these files.  Number of files is files read-only, which means little matter file extension, a text editor may be able to view the contents of the file properly.  This may or may not be the case with FXR and FXM files, but it's worth a try.

  How a FXR and FXM files:
  There are two ways to try to convert a file to a different file type:

  a. open the FXR file in its default program and choose to save the file open in another file format.

  b. use a softwarefrom online file conversion to convert these files to another file format.
  
  Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  On Windows? Right-click on the .zip file that you want to unpack (unzip) and click on "Extract all" from the context menu.

  The files that DW creates are simply old text (.html, .css, .js, etc.) and will work on any computer.

  What you want to do is to copy the real site folders and their contents to the new machine, then the old machine...

  1. go to Site > Manage Sites > click a site > export to create an .ste file

  2. copy this file to the new machine

  3. on the new computer, go to Site > Manage Sites > Import to import the .ste

  4. make sure the local root folder points to the newly copied site folder

  5. Rinse and repeat for each site

  Hi, so new to Applescript and hoping someone could help me. I use a script to download an image file with curl on my desktop (with the file named after the title of my Active Google Chrome tab). This works very well and as planned.

  The problem is the line afterwards where I want to open this file in another application. It is not working and I don't know why. I guess it's probably trying to open the path of the URL instead of the local file? I try to save the results of this (DownloadedImage.jpg) as a variable, but do not know if I'm doing things. It's the part of the script:

  Your problem is quite simple.

  In your script:

  game of downloadedFile to (the shell script "curl-o" & quoted form of (tabTitle, savePath & ".jpg" as text) & space & quoted form oftheURL)

  the variable downloadedFile will be the final text of the bomb the command script. It has nothing to do with the file downloaded. Instead, it is the text that you would have seen if you perform the curl even command in a Terminal window. There is no way to preview coerce to a file reference to open.

  The good thing, however, is that you know where is the file, because you will need to pass these data in curl in the first place. For ease of maintenance, I simply create a new variable which follows the path of the file and use it in both States.

  value filePath to quoted form of (tabTitle, savePath & ".jpg" as text)

  the value downloadedFile to (the shell script "curl-o" & filePath & space form City of theURL)

  say application "Overview" for Open the file filePath

  So now, you open the filePath, not the output of the shell command.

  (a) what web browser do you use?

  (b) have you been able to open this type of file before? You get a specific error message?

  (c) does it happen with every file download or it?

  Please provide the information above to understand the question better; the following steps are worth a try:

  Downloaded file is possibly corrupted. In this case, you will not be able to open it. Download the file again. That might solve the problem.

  Security software may be blocking or impeding the file to open, first of all, let us disable the security software and test

  Step 1: Disable security software, follow the steps mentioned below

  Important: Activate security software once everything is done.

  Step 2: Download the file to a different location (on the desktop) and test

  Step 3: You can uninstall and reinstall the program that opens this file type.

  IM', unable to open/download attachments from various sites IE extensions of Hotmail and Centrelink. Very frustrating, even if I can do it on my other PC! I'm missing something here?

  3. do you get any error code or error message?

  4. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  5 is this problem confined to specific files or all files?

  6. what browser you use to download/open the attachments?

  If you use Internet Explorer, then I you suggest to disable add-ons, then try to download and extract.

  Follow the steps to disable add-ons:

  a. open Internet Explorer

  b. press the ALT key, and then click Tools.

  c. click on Manage Add-ons.

  d. disable add-ons by clicking on them one at a time to highlight and then click Disable.

  Note: to re-enable the modules one by one and check with what add-on, you get this error message. Disable Add-ons will not cause any problem.

  If disabling add0one did not help, then it would be better to post the same question in Windows Live Hotmail forums to get help.

  I have a sofa v7.0 vector data acquisition system that generates files in MDF format.  I found the Diadem data plugin for MDF files and installed.  I can open the files, I see the names of parameters, but all data is 0 (and do not).

  The plugin is updated and the description mentions MDF version 3.0 & 3.2.  We have couch version 7.0.  How do these numbers match?  How to correctly open this file?

  Description of the plugin:

  This use is supported for playback / import of files MDF Bosch of ETAS INCA® MDF and Vector sofa® data and other products of the vector. The use is supported by the MDF files up to version 3.2. Use MDF also supports the writing of MDF 3.0 and 3.2 files. Writing behavior is controlled by the root "version" property set the version of "MDF 3.2" to write files MDF 3.2.

  The measurement data Format (MDF) is well established in the automotive industry for recording, Exchange and analysis after measurement. MDF files are produced for example. Inca® ETAS, then in sofa® and other products of the vector.

  Further examination of the file that worked and the files that don't work not revealed that the latest settings that we use is no longer.  Once we have removed these settings, I can open all the files, if we believe that it is the question.

  I am trying to open the files of an old computer running Windows 3.1. the files include MS Publisher, MS Works, encyclopedia Compton, & several other w/3.1 compatible programs. Y at - it a program or an update to Vista that can be used to open these files? What I try to open it & save programs on a version of Windows 3.1 & Vista before using on Vista? I can't open files from MS Office that have been made on a computer running Windows 98 or 2000. Any ideas?

  Windows has many built-in features to make it as compatible as possible with older versions, but Windows 3.1 is really a little old! You can try to use Compatibility Mode, but it goes only up to what Windows 95.

  To run an older program in Ccompatability Mode (as if your PC was using an older operating system):

  1. right click on the program and select 'properties '.

  2. go in the 'Compatibility' tab at the top.

  3. check the first check box and to set up the 'Windows 95 operating system "(which is as old as that).

  4. check all other settings for maximum compatibility (depending on the program that you try to use, some may not be necessary, but you should try each of them to be sure).

  5. click "OK" and try to run the program.

  Note: If you want to try to do this at a program Office (and other Windows programs), this may not work. Please ask for more help with this.

  Your files, you need to just find a compatible program to open with. Please tell us the types of files for more help with this.

  Import this file into a new Premiere Pro project.

  But before you open the calendar, please change video renderer only in software mode.

  Click file > project settings > General and change of video rendering "Software Only Mode" and delete previews
