OpenScript (string) info - method, SEE display.

Hello

We use the info (string) - method in a script. But the string is not displayed in the display of LIGHT.

How can we do this? And where is the string?

Kind regards
Axel

Hi Axel

This is because the info method only writes to the log file and OpenScript console.

For display SEEN, you must use:

getVuDisplay().setDefaultContents("some content");

    You are mistaken in thinking that they are alternatives.

    Only after that can you use either of

    SELECT * FROM TABLE (DBMS_XPLAN. DISPLAY);

    Unless you are using DBMS_XPLAN. DISPLAY_CURSOR directly on a present cursor in the shared pool, the PLAN to EXPLAIN is still a sine qua non for DBMS_XPLAN. DISPLAY.

  • A string that can be displayed as ASCII and hex in an indicator will allow not to store the data in a file in ASCII format

    You can see the data in an indicator very well, but when we try to write this string of hexadecimal data in a file, it will only save the data in ASCII format.

    This seems simple enough, as the indicator can be selected to display the data in different formats (VI > properties > appearance > display Style: Normal, backslash, hexadecimal).  However, I could not, for the moment save data in different formats.

  • How to convert the Ascii string containing hex to hex string info?

    Dear all,

    I am busy doing a control/reading program for pumps of ISCO.

    Right now I'm in trouble with to send orders for PUMPS in HEXADECIMAL. When I use a CONTROL to the STRING in HEX display, everything works fine (when I manually write down the command in the control of the chain).

    Exist it a couple of pieces order: string Destination, length, ordering, Checksum. I'm doing a sup - screw that automatically calculates the checksum (modulo 256) and adds it to the string. Everything is going well: first of all, I shared the ascii bytes command and I calculate the checksum and add as ASCII HEXADECIMAL value to the chain of command. Also a CR (= 0d) is added. Now the whole string must be converted to hex. The string contains the right nummers HEX, but they are in ASCII format. Here was I feel worth it, I don't know how to do it!

    So to summarize:

    I have an ascii string that contains the values HEX (for example 315230303652454D4F544531420D) and it must be converted to a HEX string (for instance 3152 3030 3652 454 4531 420 4F54) for the pump of the ISCO can understand the command.

    The VI is attached.

  • CAN string comparison to see if I have the right one.

    I am writing a program to test a product that we produce using CAN.  How would I go see if I have a CAN message string to know that our alarm is turned on, on the product?  Is there a way to compare channels incomming and pass it some Boolean value when it does?  Thank you, Fred

    Hi Fred420,

    You can use the simple comparison function to compare two strings. If you have a list of channels, then you can store them in a table and use the search function of table 1 d. Two find a portion of a string in another string, you can use the search and replace function.

    It will be useful.

  • Search for the string in the string table and see the following value in the line

    Hi, I'm new I have LV and I do a Vi that read worksheet values and generates 2d channels of the same spreadsheet table. For the moment everything I need is a function that find specyfic string in this table and show the next value in a line. As:

    Table:

    a; b
    c; d
    f; g

    example: find the 'c '.

    VI shoud show "d".

    Concerning

    Not a bad homework problem.  Do it with pencil and paper.  Write your table and pretend you're the computer.  What you want to do (step by step)?  What questions do you have?

    Now that the translation a bit to computers.  You mentioned that the data is in an array of strings.  What structures (LabVIEW) work with tables?  [Do you know how to work with tables?  [Otherwise, review some of LabVIEW Tutorial material - see top right of the first page of the Forum].  What do you know about channels?  What questions you need to ask questions on the channels?  What do you know about string functions?

    Watch these things in some LabVIEW code, 'feed' some data and see what he does.  If it seems to do things "unexplained", you can try to look at the block diagram to run by turning the performance highlight (and if you don't know what that means, use the help of LabVIEW and see the tutorials).

  • String.startsWith, method behaves like the method String.equals

    Hello

    I work through the assignment of the Java Servlets and JSP, and told me to use a simple iterator method and startsWith. This bit is not part of the assignment as they write it for you, but it does not work for me.

    Grateful for any help, I'm not cheat my assignment because it comes to Servlets and JSP, and I'm not marked on this part.

    Here is my results using System.out during an iteration through my loop.

    Green home starts with the Green House
    the Pink House does not start with the Green House
    the Blue House does not start with the Green House
    the Pink House is bigger that the Pink House does not start with the Green House

    the Green House is bigger that the Green House does not start with the Green House
    the Green House is bigger that the Red House does not start with the Green House
    the Blue House is bigger that the Pink House does not start with the Green House

    searchPrompts = new ArrayList < String > ();
    searchPrompts.add ("the Green House");
    searchPrompts.add ("the Blue House");
    searchPrompts.add ('pink house');
    etc.

    and my loop is less and does not compile if I throw the (String): -.

    int countMatches = 0;
    for (Iterator it = searchPrompts.iterator (); it.hasNext () & & countMatches < = 5 ;))
    {
    String aPrompt = (String) it.next ();
    If (searchString.StartsWith (aPrompt))

    matchingPrompts.add (aPrompt);
    countMatches ++;
    }
    on the other
    {
    System.out.println (aPrompt + "does not begin by" + searchString);
    }

    Your code says:

  • OpenScript do not provide Options displayed in the Doc

    There are several options that are documented to v9.0, but are not available in the application. I was able to work around most, but can't seem to get around it.

    Maximum JVM heap size (found at 2.4.1.3 system)

    I need this option that the script runs out of segment of memory allocated. Is not leaking, and the script works if I broke it upward, but it is a test of navigation E2E data-driven, so I prefer to keep it together. Here is the error that I get that leads me to believe that I need to increase my max heap:

    Error in the section not specified to the unknown line. ScriptException occurred. An unexpected exception has occurred in the script. Section of script: not specified.
    means: Java heap space

    Thank you.

    Hi John,.

    Version 9.0 open script, you can find the maximum size of the JVM heap in perspective Tester in "View - preferences Openscript.

    Expand the node of the tree "OpenScript" then click play on your right side, you will see three General, system and error handling options. Now expand your system and you can see a default text field "Maximum JVM heap size" assigned by the system is 256 MB, so you will find no value in this field. Make sure that you enter not more than 90% of total memory allocated.

  • Method of displaying Pl/Sql types

    Hello

    I would like to know how to print all attributes of type pl/sql.

    For example, I created the method of display_address below. I would like to know how to print all attributes rather than give one by one. In my project, we have over 1,000 attributes that are defined under the body. It is therefore difficult to print everything one by one.

  • Simple method to display the pictures stored external oracle xe, in a region of html

    Hallo!

    I've created an html area on my Apex (4.0.1) pages and I want to display an image (and), which is stored in a folder of OS inside this region!

    What is the easiest way to do this?

    Is it possible using the URL or better through B-file.

    There is here a small tutorial or any code sample?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Here's how you can show images from the folder on the server:

    This is just example and suppose you create the new application.
    I assume that your XE database is windows machine.

    Connect to SQL plus as SYS and create the directory

    create directory my_img_dir as 'c:\my_images\';

    Grant privilege read on directory (ANONYMOUS) user to DAD

    grant read on directory my_img_dir to anonymous;

    Grant privilege read on directory to your application to the analysis of schema. Modify the "my_schema".

    grant read on directory my_img_dir to my_schema;

    Create the new application and 2 blank pages. I guess the first page (id 1) is where you show images.
    Second page (id 2) is just for the appeal process.

    Create point of application process "on the cloth: before the header."

    DECLARE
      l_lob     BFILE;
      l_length  NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    --
      l_lob :=  BFILENAME('MY_IMG_DIR', :REQUEST);
      l_length := DBMS_LOB.getlength(l_lob);
      --
      htp.flush;
      htp.init;
      --
      htp.p('Content-length: ' || l_length);
      --
      htp.p('Content-Disposition: filename="&REQUEST."');
      --
      -- close the headers
      owa_util.http_header_close;
      --
      -- download the BLOB
      wpg_docload.download_file(l_lob);
    --
    END;

    Make the process conditionally if the page is 2.

    Region HTML on page 1 to create and place the source of the region

    Replace "my_picture.gif" with the name of the image you have in the folder c:\my_images. The image name is case sensitive

    Kind regards
    Jari

    Published by: jarola November 18, 2010 02:36

    I notice that you mention your OS.

    Above statement replace c:\my_images\ by/var/my_images for example.
    Make sure that "others" have read permission on folder and files it contains the image.
    Group and owner of the folder can be for example root

  • Inspiron 2650 'View System Info' not see newly installed memory

    You wanted to spend this memory to laptop to hand to his grandchildren.  Original Config: 128 M RAM 128 M plus additional system in the "support extensible user."    After checking with Dell, I ordered a key of 256 M to replace the 128 in the decision-making of the user.

    'View system information' in 'My computer' has not seen the new memory.  Reference called Dell.  They said they had sent me the wrong memory.  I now have the correct memory for shipping.  Meanwhile, I reinstalled the old stick of 128 M.  'View system information' reports STILL 128M.

    My question: do you think that the system actually USES the 256 origin but only REPORTING 128.  Or what the hell is happening?  Is there another place (in addition to seeing the news system) to see what resources are actually on board and used?
