operation not allowed on java.lang.object

Hello.

I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.5

I had used this code in my AMImpl method
ViewObjectImpl vo = this.getFinPeriodsView1();
Row vor= vo.getCurrentRow();
System.out.println("Current date : " + (vor.getAttribute("FpFromDate") + 1) //getting error as operation not allowed on java.lang.object
+ "-"
+ now.get(Calendar.DATE)
+ "-"
+ now.get(Calendar.YEAR));

My scenario is to perform this operation
select max(add_months(fp_from_date,1)) from fin_periods //This value is to be set to FPFromDate Attribute for FinPeriods
select max(add_months(fp_end_date,1)) from fin_periods //This value is set to be set to FpEndDate Attribute for FinPeriods
I need to do this for 12 periods that example sample is
for (int i=0;i<=12;i++)
{
select max(add_months(fp_from_date,1)) from fin_periods;
select max(add_months(fp_end_date,1)) from fin_periods;
}
How can I do this in my method of AMIMpl.

Hello
First add after the stuff inside your implementation code

//Code Stuff in your mathod as follows
Calendar cl = Calendar.getInstance();
java.util.Date dateFromTable = convertDomainDateToUtilDate((oracle.jbo.domain.Date)vor.getAttribute("FyStartDate"));//check now
cl.setTime(dateFromTable);
System.out.println (cl.getTime());
cl.add(Calendar.DATE, 30);//add 30 days
Date toDate = cl.getTime();
System.out.println (toDate);
//

and also add convertDomainDateToUtilDate new method to your class. Method will return java.util.Date to your oracle.jbo.domain.Date

public java.util.Date convertDomainDateToUtilDate(oracle.jbo.domain.Date domainDate) {
java.util.Date date = null;
if (domainDate != null) {
java.sql.Date sqldate = domainDate.dateValue();
date = new Date(sqldate.getTime());
}
return date;
}

• Operation not allowed on the shipment blocking event thread

Dear friends,

I'm sorry to put this problem, but I'm posting it after much searching this forum. Although the number of threads, the solution is available, but it does not work on me. On a thread, that the person wrote that he solved the problem, but haven't posted the solution how he had done this. The problem is:

SerializableAttribute public class SmsDemo extends net.rim.device.api.ui.UiApplication {}
Private SmsDemoMainScreen SmsDemoMScreen;
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args)
{

SmsDemo SmsDemoApp = new SmsDemo();
SmsDemoApp.enterEventDispatcher ();
}
public SmsDemo()
{
_Thread BackGroundThread = new BackGroundThread();
_Thread.start ();

SmsDemoMScreen = new SmsDemoMainScreen();
pushScreen (SmsDemoMScreen);
}

class BackGroundThread extends Thread {}
public BackGroundThread() {}
/ * initialize the constructor parameters * /.
}

public void run() {}

net.rim.device.api.ui.UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable()
{

public void run() {}

try {}
javax.wireless.messaging.MessageConnection msgConn = (javax.wireless.messaging.MessageConnection)javax.microedition.io.Connector.open("sms://:0");
javax.wireless.messaging.Message msg = msgConn.newMessage (javax.wireless.messaging.MessageConnection.TEXT_MESSAGE);
javax.wireless.messaging.TextMessage = (javax.wireless.messaging.TextMessage) msg txtMsg.
txtMsg.setAddress("sms://+91123456789");
txtMsg.setPayloadText ("Test Message");
msgConn.send (txtMsg);

System.out.println ("sending SMS success!");
} catch (Exception e) {}
System.out.println (e.getMessage ());
e.printStackTrace ();
}
}
});

}
}

The code above gives error "Blocking Operation not allowed on the event dispatch thread" to msgConn.send (txtMsg); line.

Please guide me how to solve the problem for example. If possible, please guide me how to continuously listen to the incoming message also. The SmsDemo example with JDE is autonomous work fine but in error when incorporated in my solution.

Thanking you in anticipation.

I don't think you need to do invokeLater (new Runnable()... the inner thread.) Try to remove it, I think that this can cause this problem.

I'm migrating a stored procedure (package) in Oracle 11 g. The SQL has an outer join, combined with a "GOLD":

your base table is c, a and b must be attached to the left

Error: ORA-00976: specified virtual or operator not allowed here

According to the audit, which are a problem in GR 11, 2 with insert query using rownum in values.

Someone knows how to fix this?

I wonder why you want to use rownum as a value of insertion? It's not really worth doing an insert without a select statement.

If you want to use it, it would look like

Insert into t1 (name, row_num_value)

Select name

rownum

the t2;

But then you can use an order by clause, on the other it would spoil the rownum order. So an important question is, where is the rownum used for?

• ORA-00976: virtual specified or operator not allowed here - (11g)

ORA-00976: virtual specified or operator not allowed here

This happens in one of the plsql pkg, which has no compilation errors. and works perfectly well in other environments.

The only difference I noticed is what error in DB, which is 11g - 11.2.0.3
and other environments that are in good shape is 10g - 10.2.0.5

Overall of the function where the error is, there is one thing which I suspect (but not sure)
It is CONNECT BY LEVEL, is used in a query. This could be a problem in 11g?
If not, any help / troubleshooting tips that will be greatly appreciated. !

-Thank you,

I can reproduce your error on my 11.2.0.3 instance. Looks like the bug number 13496250 introduced in the 11.2.0.3.

The problem is that you try to return an instance of the EntryProcessor NO_RESULT and No_Result is of type Object. Coherence cannot serialize an ordinary object, so you get this error. You need to do something No_RESULT that can be serialized - object to primitive type or a custom class that is serializable POF.

Hello!!

I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.5

I am trying to do this in the AMImpl method
gapbr.setAttribute("GapbDebitAmt",(gapbr.getAttribute("GapbDebitAmt")+ghlr.getAttribute("GjlDebitAmt")))
I get an error message like operation not permitted here

Have you read the docs? Do you know what it returns getAttribute (). It returns an object. Can add you a table and a Chair? Convert them to open the types then add

Hi friends

When I am trying to turn on a virtual (RHEL5 Guest OS) computer on the host ESXi5.1, it's prompting me error as below:

vmware.jpg

I installed the server vCenter Server in my VMware workstation 9, all the VMware their services are running and sometimes the virtual machine gets power and sometimes it can't. so when I go back to the snapshot of work it works fine. each time when this error happens, I returned to the work of snapshot, so it works, but it's annoying to do this every time.

can someone tell me how I can solve it?

Thank you!

Hello

This can happen when the connection between the host ESXi and vCenter server is faulty.

Take a look at the host. It tells you how much CPU and RAM resources allocated? If not restart ESXi Agent Management: VMware KB: restarting on a host ESX or ESXi management agents

(It can also be done by connecting to the ESXi host with ssh and type 'dcui' to get the GUI prompt of the Terminal Server session. Quitting with ctrl + c)

Otherwise, you should try and restart the vCenter Server service on your vCenter server.

The Java Exception: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: during the java.lang.reflect.Method .invoke call.

I came across the same thing as you. I did a lot of experimenting and found it works:

var result = (function() {
var ReflectiveArray = java.lang.reflect.Array;
var CreateSQL = Packages.PeopleSoft.PeopleCode.Func.CreateSQL;
var columns = ReflectiveArray.newInstance(java.lang.Object, 1 /* number of selected columns */);
var results = [];

while (SQL.Fetch(columns)) {
results.push(columns[0]);
}

return results.join();

}());

He seems to have been a problem with translation between the JavaScript array and the Java array Object []. I solved this by using java.lang.reflect.Array.newInstance to create a new instance of the object [1].

Next issue to deal with is your memory problem. In the error message, it seems to have something to do with the Garbage Collection and a lot of temporary objects. You declare you line and cell by using the var =... line and cell var =...? If not, then they are in the global namespace and properties of the global object. At the end of each iteration of the loop, use delete line and delete cells. If you declare the var, then set their value null at the end of each iteration. Based on your code, I expect each time through the loop would decrease the number of references, but I saw where setting explicitly using null. The only other temporary object I see is the value in the table. Just for fun, I added this at the end of each loop, and he ran very well:

columns[0] = null;

• Unable to see java.lang.string in IOM utility API

Hello

I am not able to see java.lang.string and java.lang.object in IOM utility API when an adapter of the entity is created. Here's what I did

(1) created a feature adapter
(2) adding a task
(3) selected utility, and then click utility (excluding the two selection utility options or IOM Thor APIs)
(4) creates a new instance
(5) tried to select java.lang. string in the API of the application which I am not able to find.

Please let me know if this could be a problem with installation or some jar file missing.

Thank you

Rahul Sharma

I tried the workaround below...

In the adapter factory
1. click on add a new task
2. Select utility-> utility
3. in the drop-down list, select tcUtilStringOperations and methods drop-down list, select the holdData() method
4. map to the input to your string variable variable
5. no need to map output variable. Click Save
6. click on add new task
7. Select utility-> utility
8 to object of the Instance selection, select the 'task return value instance' radio button and select the task of the adapter which was created above
9. click on continue.

Now you'll see java.lang.string API with all the methods under him.

I followed this approach to make use of the API of the chain. Experts in our forum can help you the best ways to see it.

• OSB: Custom political GOSA and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

I created a custom policy called MyCustomPolicy. It does virtually nothing, but always succeeds and writes a message on the server output, as "= political Custom called = '.

I put the implementation of the policy in one archive .jar and place in the lib of the domain directory. Then I imported the policy to the GOSA in the EM console. All servers have been restarted.

I created a business service and a proxy that leads to the service of the company. In the proxy options, I have attached my policy as OWSM policy links and set the 'WS-Security process header' Yes.

Now, if I invoke the proxy of the OSB, or via the stand-alone client console, everything works like a charm. The invoke is a success, I get the expected values of business and a message is written to the output of the server by the implementation of the policy.

Then I create another proxy, a passage through proxy. There is no policy attached to it, and its "process WS-Security header' is set to 'no '. The roads of proxy to the proxy with my custom GOSA policy. I'm changing the header 'doOutboundWss' to 'false', while WS-Security SOAP envelope out don't come not this proxy. There is no need of WS-Security SOAP envelope since my policy don't use it, right?

When I try to call this proxy, I get "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: karol.soa.policy.MySuccesAssertionExecutor". But the implementation is in the lib of the domain directory! And it works when I invoke the proxy directly!

Help, please!

Instead of putting your pot of strategy custom field/lib, can put you in the Weblogic CLASSPATH variable explicitly and test after the restart of the field?

• Smartphones blackBerry eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException & default Services

I got a Blackberry update notice for my handheld. I think it's 5.0.0.973. The update also includes an update on all the applications I had on hand held. After the update, I had to go and connect to my other apps.

The big problem is I lost by 'Calendar' in my default Services", I can't synchronize my contacts with google sync and I every time that I reboot I get message not caught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. »

BlackBerry is no help at all.

Is it possible to reinstall my systems software without going to Sprint? I tried to download the software of systems as if I had no provider, but it reads like a file and will not be installed.

Help

I went to Sprint and they have wiped the system and I down loaded by calendar & contacts of my Google Acct, which is much better than iCal. I no longer get the message "of the United Nations taken exception... »

So some little glitches seemed to stop also.

The only problem I get now is that I can't get my email envelop to appear on the home screen. only the "Message" envelope.

• Lesson 1 homework load: cannot access the java.lang

I made all facilities and followed all the steps of Lesson1 for the java ME course for Raspberry Pi, but when trying to load the homework examples in the zip file I get the following in Netbeans 8.0.2 error message (and many more mistakes, but I guess that it is the number one key).

Cannot access the java.lang

Fatal error: could not find the java.lang package in the classpath or bootclasspath

----

I tried to load the files to work from home with 'file', 'open project' and navigating to the folder with the file build.xml. What I am doing wrong? How these files must be loaded?

Simple examples with "to go". ' and 'destroy... '. "impression of the lessons worked well, both on the output of the PC console as the Bill pro forma raspberry connected.

Note, I'm using version 8.1 of ME incorporated, SDK and Plugins currently available on the Oracle website.

Thanks for your help.

Willem

It seems that the SDK was not established as a platform target in the properties of your project by a reason any (for example, older has not installed SDK as a platform project properties).

Check following:

1. menu Tools > Java platforms. "Oracle Java (TM) Platform Micro Edition SDK 8.1" should be here as a platform CLDC peresent. If you have not, add it here manually.

2 menu popup on your project > properties-> platform: you select here as aplatform SDK and the existing mechanism. Note, in the event that your project contains a platform/device this dialog box will be filled with the default (s) value, but you have to press the "OK" button here to apply this default assignment.
