Option to search for a page of REPORT AND FORM.

Hi friends,

In the sample applications AnyCo Corp (2 days + dev Guide).
I've created a report on OEHR_DEPAPTMENT and there is a default SEARCH option.
But when I created report and form on the SEARCH option OEHR_DEPAPTMENT is finished.
How can I include return this feature?

You must do three things:

1. create a new page element. This should be an area of text and added to the area that contains the report. Can select something like P1_REPORT_SEARCH.

2. create a new button on your page. This must be created in the position of "Create a button displayed among the elements of this region" so that it can be placed next to the text box. When you create, you must also have created for you a new branch that points to the same page.

3 - update your SQL statement to include a filter based on the content of the text box following in the State. Something like:

SELECT...
FROM oehr_departments
WHERE instr(upper(department_name),upper(nvl(:P1_REPORT_SEARCH,department_name))) > 0

    As in D2k we where using ifrun.exe to run the Oracle report and form module giving a parameter, in the form of 12 c and point out how we're going to run the package.

    In the ifrun.exe target us where giving as

    Please see the documentation.  Windows 10 is not a certified platform.  The installation program performs a check to determine if the platform you are installing on is acceptable.  Probably, he sees that you're on Win10 and exits.

    Reminder, the basic steps to install are the following (don't forget first install Windows loopback adapter if the machine doesn't have a static IP):

    1. install the JDK 8U51 + (x 64)

    2. install WLS Infrastructure 12.2.1

    3. install the forms/States 12.2.1

    4. run the repository creation utility (RCU)

    5. run the Setup Wizard (to create the domain)

    6. start the WLS Node Manager, Server Admin and WLS_FORM.  If Windows, you must use a DOS shell with administrator privileges to do this commissioning initial.  Otherwise will result in the field not be created properly.

    In some WebHelp output examples I see a drop-down list of search in which the end user can select the "highlight search results" (a check box) or to specify the number of "search results by page.

    However in my WebHelp Pro out I don't have these two options that appear. How to activate these options to display to the user in my WebHelp Pro project? I have just the search entry box, but not the options below. Where is - it is controlled?

    I was infomed of Adobe support that it is a known bug. There is a solution which is to implement the exit to open in one pane, but still a real difficulty was not made available.

    I suggest to start by looking at your budget.  Knowing how much you can spend on a machine will considerably reduce the options.

    I expect that the options will be one of the following:

    MOBILE NO:

    Mac Mini: $500-$2200

    iMac: $1100 - $2400

    PORTABLE:

    MacBook: $1300-$1600

    MacBookPro: $1300-$2700

    I, personally, do NOT recommend an iPad for professional use

    You can not.  It's a feature of google and he has been removed from Internet Explorer for some reason any.  If you want bad enough functionality, it is always available if you switch to Firefox.  In Internet Explorer, you can change a blank page to a page of tabs in Tools / Internet Options / Tabbings / settings / and select from the drop-down list which of the three options to your tabs to show the opening.  That's all that is now available.

    I have a new requirement of creating pages portals sectarian. This includes the creation of the page (perhaps based on a template, add areas (if not based on a template) and adding portlets wsrp already available for the selected areas on the page.)

    Is there an API (PL/SQL, Java, etc.) that expose this functionality?

    I don't think you can do it with the public API. Frankly, I have not seen any API it directly, nor does (unless it is a java portlet deployment).

    However, the following tables may be able to give an idea on a search for content. To change the content (such as add/delete), however, I would say attention.

  • How to use the bottom of different color for the areas of text and form on a landing page?

    For our landing page, I like to keep white as the main background but color will have two text as well as a space for these three areas form box, I would use gray.  I got tired of using Fill Content but it will change the whole landing page background color and not only the text box.

    Hi Angie, you use the WYSIWYG editor to create pages? If so, if I'm reading this right, you are looking to change the background color of the different page elements? You should be able to select each item and apply the color as below:

    First, I will begin by saying that Windows 10 is not yet a certified platform.  Therefore, if you decide to use it, understand that some things may not work properly and Support of Oracle isn't able to help you.

    Second, it is recommended that you read (or at least review) the product documentation before diving too deep into what either.  Many of the likely questions will be answered in the docs.

    About your comments, here are my comments:

    It is nice to see again Oracle 12 c similar as Developer 2000.

    I guess you are referring to the fact that v12 now offers a "Form Builder Only" installation option.  This option installs the form builder and related utilities. It does not install runtime components.

    How to configure Oracle 12 c forms and reports on the laptop with Windows 10 system of independent when operating away from server offline to develop forms & reports.

    As mentioned, the Win10 is not yet supported, so consider that Oracle Support may not be able to help if problems arise.  If you have decided to install the generator option of form only, developers need to access remote servers in order to test their applications.  As would be the case if you have not installed a database on the developer's computer.  If the developer machines are not connected to a network, it will be necessary to have a database and complete installation of FMW on their machine in order to run the applications they develop.

    Once Oracle Forms 12 c and reports are installed on Windows Server 12R2, how the desktop users will gain access to forms.

    I'm not sure that understand this issue.  If you're referring to end users (not developers), it's the same accomplished as it has always been in the past. For example:

    I try to keep a great relationship with many columns in a page at the APEX 4.1. I use a tab on one level with the left sidebar. But thanks to this, my classic report does not in the rest of the page and no horizontal scroll bar appears to view the report as a whole. I tried to style = overflow-x: scrolling in the region attribute but I only see a disabled scroll bar.

Of course, you can play with the desired width and height (and together the class attributes to something that makes sense to you... or leave it disabled).

This creates horizontal and vertical scrollbars on the area of your report.

    Now, in the setter of the transitional attribute in VORowImpl just use populateAttribute method
    instead of setSttributeInternal.

    polateAttribute is not the original Version as dirty.

    This will solve the problem.
