  As in D2k we where using ifrun.exe to run the Oracle report and form module giving a parameter, in the form of 12 c and point out how we're going to run the package.

  Please see the documentation.  Windows 10 is not a certified platform.  The installation program performs a check to determine if the platform you are installing on is acceptable.  Probably, he sees that you're on Win10 and exits.

  Reminder, the basic steps to install are the following (don't forget first install Windows loopback adapter if the machine doesn't have a static IP):

  1. install the JDK 8U51 + (x 64)

  2. install WLS Infrastructure 12.2.1

  3. install the forms/States 12.2.1

  4. run the repository creation utility (RCU)

  5. run the Setup Wizard (to create the domain)

  6. start the WLS Node Manager, Server Admin and WLS_FORM.  If Windows, you must use a DOS shell with administrator privileges to do this commissioning initial.  Otherwise will result in the field not be created properly.

• Migrate the right oracle report - no form

  Hi all
  
  Just upgraded to 3.2 and I'm trying to migrate an oracle (rdf file) report
  Through the rdf program convert Oracle reports and have a xml file.
  
  I don't find a way to migrate the entire report. The Migration tool is a _fmb.xml file, but I do not have a form of convert.
  
  I tried following the OBE to http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/apex32/apex32frmmigr.htm, but it also requires a form.
  
  Is there a way to convert only one report or must one have a form?

  Hi Wayne,

  On the first step of the creation of a Migration project, you will need to download a file of forms FormModule (_fmb.xml). If you do not yourself, you can download a sample file from the sample files link in the area of tasks on the Migration of the Application home page. You can then move forward to create a project and download your report from Oracle. XML file to this project. Once the project is created, you can simply delete the _fmb.xml file and continue the process of conversion on the Oracle report.

  I've created a report on OEHR_DEPAPTMENT and there is a default SEARCH option.
  But when I created report and form on the SEARCH option OEHR_DEPAPTMENT is finished.

  You must do three things:

  1. create a new page element. This should be an area of text and added to the area that contains the report. Can select something like P1_REPORT_SEARCH.

  2. create a new button on your page. This must be created in the position of "Create a button displayed among the elements of this region" so that it can be placed next to the text box. When you create, you must also have created for you a new branch that points to the same page.

  3 - update your SQL statement to include a filter based on the content of the text box following in the State. Something like:

  SELECT...
  FROM oehr_departments
  WHERE instr(upper(department_name),upper(nvl(:P1_REPORT_SEARCH,department_name))) > 0

  1. how to Setup Oracle 12 c forms and offline on laptop computer with the operating system Windows 10 as independent when away from server to develop forms and reports.

  2. time Oracle Forms 12 c and reports are installed on Windows Server 12R2, how the desktop users will gain access to forms.

  First, I will begin by saying that Windows 10 is not yet a certified platform.  Therefore, if you decide to use it, understand that some things may not work properly and Support of Oracle isn't able to help you.

  Second, it is recommended that you read (or at least review) the product documentation before diving too deep into what either.  Many of the likely questions will be answered in the docs.

  About your comments, here are my comments:

  It is nice to see again Oracle 12 c similar as Developer 2000.

  I guess you are referring to the fact that v12 now offers a "Form Builder Only" installation option.  This option installs the form builder and related utilities. It does not install runtime components.

  How to configure Oracle 12 c forms and reports on the laptop with Windows 10 system of independent when operating away from server offline to develop forms & reports.

  As mentioned, the Win10 is not yet supported, so consider that Oracle Support may not be able to help if problems arise.  If you have decided to install the generator option of form only, developers need to access remote servers in order to test their applications.  As would be the case if you have not installed a database on the developer's computer.  If the developer machines are not connected to a network, it will be necessary to have a database and complete installation of FMW on their machine in order to run the applications they develop.

  Once Oracle Forms 12 c and reports are installed on Windows Server 12R2, how the desktop users will gain access to forms.

  I'm not sure that understand this issue.  If you're referring to end users (not developers), it's the same accomplished as it has always been in the past. For example:

• Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g R2 installation problem reports and forms

  Hi all

  I am installing Oracle Fusion Middleware 11 g R2 forms and States (install version 11.1.2.2.0). It gives me following error by specifying various 'installation locations"(step 5):

  INST-07248: rental house Middleware specified is not a valid location (for the location of the Middleware Oracle home: C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home)

  INST-07248: rental house Weblogic specified is not a valid location (for the location of the Weblogic Server: C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\wlserver)

  I installed WebLogic server worm 12.1.2.0.0 in these places. No idea how to do this setup forms and reports program recognize Weblogic version 12.x OR should I install ver Weblogic 10.3 only to work? (The value in the Weblogic Server location field to step "Install location", by default Weblogic 10.3 worm).

  You need to install the earlier version 10.3 (10.3.6).

  I have Oracle 11 g db installed on my laptop.
  I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit installed on it.
  I installed the server version Weblogic 12 c (12.1.1) using the generic.jar in console mode installation program using the command

  Having correctly installed weblogic server and also have created a domain.
  Now, I try to install Oracle Forms and reports 11g R2 on this machine...
  Have downloaded the 64 bit version...
  The same is installed, but stops on the configuration of the screen and everything is not going further.

  The tnsnames.ora file must reside in the ORACLE_INSTANCE\config directory

  My problem is in the display of an image extracted from a table. In my table, I created these fields to download the image:

  "MIME TYPE" VARCHAR2 (255),
  VARCHAR2 (400) "FILENAME."
  DATE OF THE "IMAGE_LAST_UPDATE."
  
  They have been downloaded successfully. Then, I created a report to select all the attributes of the table. The BLOB attribute displayed as (type of data not supported).

  I am a very serious problem... I'm designing a software for a retail store... it is a Point of sale software... Now, I try to print the report with a thermal printer (SAM4S GIANT-100), but it does not print... it gives just a tiny piece of paper about 1 cm long with a line in it and that is... I have tried everything but no luck.

  What stage is on the docs? I thought that I didn't need a new menu.

  You need to create a custom menu, if you create a new personal responsibility. If you register your forms/reports customized with standard liability, and then creating menus custom and responsibilities is not necessary. However, it is always recommended that you follow standards of customization by creating custom forms/States under personal responsibility.

  Our developer created customized reports and forms the module AP.

  She put programs on the repertoire of forms and AP reports.

  When I run autoconfig, all programs when the abducted.

  How to avoid this problem?

  She said they are not was to create the custom directory xxx because Oracle will now charge this custom Setup?

  Is this true?

  There isn't any doc separate registration custom app.

  Unique doc ' Creation of a custom in Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2 Application (Doc ID 1577707.1) "should take care of the creation of custom applications and recording as well.

  But, you must examine and use two documents Doc ID 1577661.1 & above for creating and using custom application/custom high doc.
