ORA-01565

Hi all

When I am trying to create a control file for a new creation of the database; Failed with the following error

ERROR on line 1:
ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-01565: error in the identification of file "/ dev/md/racvm/rdsk/d408.
ORA-27047: cannot read file header block
Additional information: 2

I checked the location of the file referred to in the right place and that is fine also the permissions are fine.

OS-HP-UX
Oracle: 10 gr 2

Help, please... I need to install this feature for objective test

concerning

Hmm... This is problematic.

You are able to read the file, however, when you run the create controlfile command, Oracle Gets a read error. Obviously, Oracle dislikes this raw device for some reason any.

I don't know what to tell you... it's just this raw device that you are having problems with? All raw devices on this host?

You might need to open an SR with Oracle.

You try to set an errorstack on error 27047 may see if revealing something useful. If you open an SR, it is likely that they would do it anyway.

Just do:

SQL>  alter session set events '27047 trace name errorstack level 1';

Session altered.

SQL>  create controlfile .....

When the error occurs, see the user_dump_dest of a trace with the errorstack in her file.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

    In which group is the user to network?
    What group you chose in the group administrator of the ASM?
    Authorities who have your oracle executables (in the House of the grid and Oracle Home)?

    If you cloned Oracle Home, then it is very likely that the oracle Oracle executable Home is owned by oracle: oinstall, but it must be owned by oracle: asmadim (or prabably s/n) in your case.

    Use setasmgidwrap on the oracle executable in the House of the Oracle and this should solve your problem.
    (DBCA imlicitly calls it).

  • ORA-01565: error in file identification

    Hello
    10 g R2 on windows 2003 server

    I have these errors when creating the control file:
    ORA-01565: error in identifying file  'W:\TEST\DATA\SYSTEM01.DBF'
    O/S-Error: (OS 3)
    I put the data files on a mapped file (w) system.

    I heard that Oracle under windows cannot identify mapped filesystem. Is this really the case? Can you confirm please?
    Thank you very much.

    I heard that Oracle under windows cannot identify mapped file system

    That's right in a DEFAULT configuration, the default setting means all Oracle services (check Control Panel) run under the LocalSystem account. This internal account is not allowed access to readers in network for security reasons.

    Solution:
    Start Oracle services (at least the database service and listener) to the same user to the help that is used during authentication of the mapped network drive. For working in an Oracle environment this user must have administrator privileges and must belong to the ORA_DBA group, normally it is the user who did the installation of Oracle.

    Hello!

    I installed Oracle 11 g SE (11.2.0.4) with CARS with 2 nodes on RedHat 7.1 with separation of roles (grid and oracle db run under different users)

    CRSCTL overview

    CRSCTL is an interface between you and Oracle Clusterware, analysis and requesting objects Oracle Clusterware Oracle Clusterware APIs.

    Oracle Clusterware 11 g release 2 (11.2) introduced controls compatible with the cluster with which you can perform the check, start and stop operations on the cluster. You can run these commands from any node in the cluster to another node in the cluster, or on all nodes of the cluster, depending on the operation.

    You can use the CRSCTL commands to perform several operations on Oracle Clusterware, such as:

    • Start and stop Oracle Clusterware resources
    • Activation and deactivation of the Oracle Clusterware demons
    • Check the status of the cluster
    • Management of the resources that are third-party applications
    • Integration of Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) with Oracle Clusterware of failure isolation support and ensure the integrity of clusters
    • Debug Oracle Clusterware components

    Hello

    Welcome to the forums!

    What you showed us, I guess that you have created the database manually using the CREATE DATABASE command?

    If so, did you run CATPROC.sql and CATALOG.sql correctly? It seems that your problem is related to these scripts, because they are responsible for creating the tables and the data dictionary views.

    Have you run them with SYS schema?

    You execute a CREATE CONTROLFILE statement.
    All data files are listed.
    The data files must reside in these places or the statement fails.
    I don't see any problem. If the data files are in a different location, simply change the sql code.
    As we do not have the content of the declaration, and you did not sb90275, what type of assistance do you need?

    What should I do?

    I don't understand because it is a clean install of Oracle11gr1.

    Thank you.

    Normally I would recommend review the documentation for http://tahiti.oracle.com and in particular the installation manuals.

    Inyour case, I think go to http://otn.oracle.com, clicking tutorials (in upper right) and looking at the tutorial 'database on linux install' might be more useful.

    Looks like you are using 4 k sector drive and hit the problem that is mentioned in https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocContentDisplay?id=1950510.1

    Solution is to apply the hotfix 16870214, simply follow the steps mentioned in the MOS score above.

  • Oracle cannot start

    Hello

    I have the 11.2.0.4 on linux 6.7 oracle oracle database.

    I have install oracle database unique instance with the asm option.

    I have 2 users: oracle and grid

    My database is open and that all things are good!

    I want to install oracle gateway for the database connection to sql server. This product get me an error: you cannot create directory on u01/app/grid/product/11.2.0/ASM.

    To resolve this error, running the command below:

    chown-r grid: oinstall/U01

    chmod-r 775/U01

    After running these commands and restart the server, I can not fire database.

    My start is mounted, but I can not fire database with the oracle user:

    sqlplus sys / * as sysdb

    SQL > startup

    ORA-01078: failure in the treatment of system settings

    ORA-01565: error in the identification of file "+ DATA/orcl/spfileorcl.ora".

    ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 could not open the file +DATA/orcl/spfileorcl.ora

    ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact

    ......................

    with user network, is the output of the command below:

    srvctl start database orcl d

    RPRC-1079: failed to start of ora.orcl.db resources

    ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact

    CRS-5017: the action "ora.orcl.db start" resource has met the following error:

    ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact

    . For details, refer to "(:CLSN00107:))" "in ' / u01/app/grid/product/11.2.0/ASM/log/it/agent/ohasd/oraagent_grid/oraagent_grid.log '.

    CRS-2674: beginning of 'ora.orcl.db' in 'it' failed

    ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact

    Can someone help me?

    It will be broke the environment:

    chown-r grid: oinstall/U01

    chmod-r 775/U01

    You may be able to save things by running root.sh script in your GI House and your DB to correct the permissions of file again, but I doubt it: it is quite complicated. Probably best to start over.

  • Duplicated on the same server database

    Hi, I'm trying to replicate a database on the same server. It seems to have worked, but I get a lot of error messages in the log of alerts. Please can someone tell if I'm doing something wrong or that I don't need to worry about these messages. Here's what I do:

    Taking rman backup archivelog and proddb database

    Do pfile from spfile proddb

    create directories by replacing the name proddb by clonedb

    copy the proddbinit.ora file rename to replace all references to proddb with clonedb of clonedbinit.ora

    Add 2 entries to clonedbinit.ora:

    * .db_file_name_convert = 'PRODDB', 'CLONEDB '.

    * .log_file_name_convert = 'PRODDB', 'CLONEDB '.

    Instance defined in CLONEDB and startup nomount

    Sign in to rman - rman AUXILIARY.

    DUPLICATE TO CLONEDB DATABASE

    BACKUP LOCATION ' / U01/PRODDB.

    I haven't specified a SPFILE because I don't think I need one as I created a complete pfile file

    "When I look in the alerts log, I get a message saying load ' ORA-01565: could not open the Spfile" and error in the identification of file & apos spfileclonedb.ora & apos;

    I read if you clone to a database on the same server, you must manually create your own pfile and do not use the SPFILE option during replication.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you very much

    Adam

    I think your spfile has no parameter value:

    db_file_name_convert ='/ EOYFIN/TESTP / ',' / FMWSPRT/TESTS /'

    To ensure that:

    create pfile from spfile;

    then check your pfile file to see the entrance is there or not.

    Option 1

    -----------------

    Just add that then you can do it in duplicate using the set command order

    -----------------------------------------------

    Run {}

    allocate channel pr1 type disk;

    allocate channel pr2 type disk;

    allocate auxiliary channel stdby type disk;

    current spfile database of target duplicate database tests

    :

    :

    Set db_file_name_convert ='/ EOYFIN/TESTP / ',' / FMWSPRT/TESTS /'

    Set log_file_name_convert ='/ EOYFIN/TESTP / ',' / FMWSPRT/TESTS /'

    :

    ;

    }

    Option 2

    ------------------------

    If it not is not for this put entry pfile.

    Start the databases using pfile and then create spfile;

    SPFile to start;

    Try again

    See you soon

  • Problems with Oracle 11g R2 XE

    Hi guys,.

    I had a problem and have to solve for abt a week now and tried a lot of solutions.

    My environment:

    Windows 7 Professional SP 1 64-Bit

    AMD Phenom II x 4 940 @3.0 GH

    4 GB of RAM (in use during the installation of 40%)

    The Windows Firewall is enabled (but oracle.exe and lstnr.exe are configured as an exception)

    Avast! FREE Antivirus Version 2014.9.0.2018

    Installation (both times with the same result):

    Installed O 11g 64-Bit XE in two different ways:

    I was logged in with user lies in Admingroup

    Installation started via right click with administrationprivileges

    I activated the Administrators account and logged with adminprivileges.

    After that, I installed the 11g XE 64 bit

    between the two steps I cleaned and restarted my system, register was too empty and the file has been deleted manually

    as a first step, I get this problem: Windows cannot find " " http://127.0.0.1:%HTTPPORT%/Apex/f?p=4950 "

    -> Manually changing HTTPORT % to 8080

    -> now I could double-click the shortcut, Firefox/IE/Chrome opens but 404 not Found error is returned

    -XracleXETNListener OracleServiceXE, both are running

    following subdirectories are installed: KEY_XE, ODP.NET, OracleMTSRecoveryService

    What I tried (both ways, with and without adminstrationprivileges):

    I created two new DWORD values in KEY_XE ORACLE_SID_AUTOSTART and - STOP both to true and stopped and started services, nothing changes.

    Inserted the two users (Administrator and normal user) in the Group ORA_DBA, nothing changes, even tried to set and the new

    I looked in the folder ORA_BASE and looked at the oradat file, it contains a XE-folder that is empty, the admin folder contains: XE / and adump, dpdump and pfile, all three are empty (what does this mean? No DB created at all?)

    I looked at the file ORA_HOME and found initXE.ora, oradba.exe, oradim and PWDXE.ora

    I looked in the oradim.txt log:

    S/O-error: (OS 2) Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht find.

    -> bingo, 1st question: there is no spfileXE.ora, how can I create it? more in the dbs-file there is only an init.ora and not initXE.ora?

    Looked in the log-file files 5 from clscX.txt (probably after each systemreboot? containing the following):

    -> SystemLanguage is German, so I translated the German parts, perhaps he was lost in the translation of sth

    -> 2nd question: is there a missing registry key?

    In addition, I looked at the ORACLE_HOME/server/config/home cloesly folder:

  • Missing SPFILE

    Hi guys,.

    I would be grateful if you could help me with the following problem I am unable to locate my spfile said database.

    SQL > show the spfile parameter

    VALUE OF TYPE NAME

    ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------

    +DATA03/cpmstg/spfilecpmstg.ora string SPFile

    When I go in ASM to the location of the said this is what I see:

    ASMCMD > ls

    spfilecpmstg

    ASMCMD > ls - lrt

    WARNING: 'r' is deprecated for 'method '.

    Please use 'inverse '.

    Name of type Redund time scratched Sys

    N spfilecpmstg = > +DATA03/CPMSTG/PARAMETERFILE/spfile.510.859115335

    Now, when I go to the default location i.e./u02/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/db/dbs I see the init file:

    [oracle@ora-stg-1a dbs] $ ls - ltr initcpmstg1.ora

    -rw - r-. 1 oracle oinstall 41 24 September 11:25 initcpmstg1.ora

    The init file contains the following entry:

    [oracle@ora-stg-1a dbs] $ initcpmstg1.ora more

    SPFile='+DATA03/CPMSTG/spfilecpmstg.ora'

    Now my question is:

    1. Why I get ORA-01565: could not open the Spfile + DATA03/cpmstg/spfilecpmstg.ora. ?
    2. How can I fix?

    Note: I am running Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.4.0 and run Linux 6 (64-bit).

    Greetings

    So if you hurt the spile file, do a "create spfile from pfile".
