Team,

DB = 10.2.0.1

I followed all the steps correctly but anyway im not meeting this goal.

FYI...

SYS > @new_controlfile.sql
CREATE CONTROLFILE REUSE SET DATABASE "HRMS" RESETLOGS
*
ERROR on line 1:
ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-01565: error in the identification of file ' / home/oracle/database/HRMS/system01.dbf'
ORA-27037: unable to get file status
Linux error: 2: no such file or directory
Additional information: 3

Could you please help me solve this problem?

Thank you

Harry

You execute a CREATE CONTROLFILE statement.
All data files are listed.
The data files must reside in these places or the statement fails.
I don't see any problem. If the data files are in a different location, simply change the sql code.
As we do not have the content of the declaration, and you did not sb90275, what type of assistance do you need?

what goes wrong with this script.

Your disaster recovery operation became a disaster it seems :)

Try copying the available backup files and repeat the same thing.

    Kind regards

    I wrote something wrong?

    Thank you

I understand, but I couldnot restoration l datafile by rman restore command coz base not at the stage of editing!

Appear you are not using the rman backup catalog and controlfile to help register rman backup.
in this case if you recreate the controlfile to way you will lose all your information backup of controlfile.
better restore controlfile from piece of backup or AutoSave. as restore controlfile from ""

    Hi Eric,.

Let's not your syntax for log files. Check out the docs:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/backup.111/b28270/rcmdupdb.htm#BRADV89956

You need only name the Group once followed a list separated by commas of the logfile members.

When you issue a CREATE CONTROLFILE statement, then Oracle database creates a new control file based on the information you specify in the statement. The control file is in the location specified in the CONTROL_FILES initialization parameter. If this parameter does not have a value, then the database creates a control file managed by Oracle in the destination of default control file, which is one of the following (in order of priority):

•A or several control files such as specified in the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n initialization parameter. The file in the first directory is the main command file. When DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is specified, the database does not create a control file DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST or DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST (the flash recovery area).

    • If no value is specified for DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n, but the values are defined for the DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST and DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, then the database creates a control file at each location. The location specified in the DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST is the main command file.

    • If a value is specified only for the DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST, then the database creates a control file at this location.

    • If a value is specified only for DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, then the database creates a control file at this location.

If no value is defined for each of these parameters, then the database creates a control file to the default location for the operating system on which the database is running. This control file is not a file managed by Oracle.

    >
And now we can see what is your problem. You have mininterpreted documentation says.

Your codes DOES NOT "say doc Oracle Education."

Your quote just above doc starts with "If no value is defined. But it's just part of the exact quote:
    >

Your code example that fails SPECIFIES a value for CONTROL_FILES so nothing in this whole section even applies to your sample:

For your sample that fails, you have specified the parameter CONTROL_FILES. Doc section you originally quoted tells you what is happening

  • ORA-07202 creating the DB

    Hello

Recently, I confronted the following errors (ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed ORA-07202: sltln: invalid parameter to sltln) creating DB. I installed the software first (10.2.0.1) on CentOS Linux x86_64 x86_64 x86_64, then he patched with 10.2.0.4 and now I am trying to create the database. After reaching 3%, it shows me these errors. Newspapers do not contain errors or messages that are related.

I'm losing my marbles guess what the problem is and how to deal with it.

    Any help is appreciated

It is a famous bug 5046765.

    Please use the below workaround

You use the DBCA "Custom Database" option Wizard and then go through all the screens. Along the way you choose to use Oracle managed files with multiplexing. At the end of the process, you have the option to do one or up to three things, create the database, save the model and create scripts.

If you choose to save the template and NOT to create the database, and then try to use this model in another session DBCA to create the database, with the fact that it fails:
    ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed:
ORA-07207: sltln: invalid parameter for sltln
on Unix and it fails with:
    ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed:
ORA-09314: sltln: logical name translation error
    on Windows.

During the analysis of the model and scripts, you look in the new file init.ora and you discover the line that makes the process fails:
    control_files =""
In scripts that you have saved, this line does not appear. When you create the database at the same time, you save the model, this line does not appear. However, when you run the template saved in a new session DBCA to create the database, this line is added to the file init.ora and the process fails with the errors above.

    http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/TempConvert.asmx?WSDL

The 1st thing I try in APEX is to create a Web Service based on the above URL reference.  Problem is that I get the following error:

I followed the steps described in this article:

I saw also refers to the addition of the portfolio to the sqlnet.ora file location, but could not find a definitive answer to the question of whether this is necessary.

  • Create process failed; code 740 the requested code requires an elevation trying to download the latest version of Any Video Converter

While I was trying to download the latest version of Any Video Converter I got the message: create process failed; code 740; the requested code requires a rise.  What does that mean and what should I do to be able to download this program?

    Hello

    (1) have you made changes before the start of this issue?

    (2) what website you are trying to download from?

    (3) when exactly you get the error message? While trying to download or install?

    (4) what browser do you use?

    (5) can you download and install other applications/programs successfully?

Create process Failed: Code 740 is an error which is caused by Windows being unable to load the permissions that your computer needs to function correctly.

Try disabling the user account control:

Enable or disable the User Account Control

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off

Note: User Account Control (UAC) can help you to prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. It works by asking permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings affecting other users. We do not recommend disable user account control. If you turn it off, you must reactivate as soon as possible.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Create process failed code 740 requested operation requires an elevation

After installing the trial version Everest (material ID software), I get this message "create prosess failed code 740 requested operation requires a rise." This was followed by a crash after x'ing out.  Funny things are gone. Mouse came out the other day (possibly not related), yesterday lost keyboard driver. Then downloaded regcure and all the he'll is unleashed. I have Mcafee dumped (which was), installed and run AVG and one - quared and found nothing. I also run Microsoft malicious software last week and found nothing. last night when I was trying to get rid of regcure - which I downloaded from the site of microsoft in connection, it would pile up a hundred windows on my screen and then told me that he was no longer at the location. I don't know where he is. . I know it's a lot of things, but just try to ask for one. I'm afraid that I'm digging deeper.

The Everest product is certified for Windows 7? I note on their web page to claim "BOLD", it adapts to all versions of Windows, I tend to doubt since Windows 7 places many restrictions on software, especially when it comes to probe the material. I would like to use the system restore to return Windows to a point before the installation of Everest.

    Hi Shakeel,

This error occurs when there is some value (which is unnecessary) present in the column "AXF_WalletKey."

To resolve the above error, please follow the steps below.

    1. connect to AXF schema using SQL developer.

    2. run the command AXF diagram below.

    Call fnd_vault.put ('AXF ', 'AXFWalletKey',' ');

    commit;

    3. disconnect the session of EBS log on again and check the Zoom button.

    Kind regards

    Rahul

It seems that we should check for the primary database log files cross.

    RMAN > overlap archivelog all;

This then check out a new attempt of physical creation process... I will update the discussion with the results... (Hope that would solve the problem).

    Kind regards
