ORA-20515: invalid Session
Hello
I find the rest of error messages in my glassfish.log file. Applications are working fine but do not know why this error comes from time to time, and then in the log file only.
Operating system: CentOS 6.4 64bits
Oracle 11G XE
Apex 4.2.3.00.08
Apex listener 2.0.5
3.1.2.2 Glasfish
I am also using Nginx as a reverse proxy server.

Hi Habib.
This error can occur when applications to APEX_UTIL. GET_BLOB_FILE to download the BLOB content on a page of DML form passes invalid or expired session id. You should be able to find support requests to APEX_UTIL. GET_BLOB_FILE or HTMLDB_UTIL. GET_BLOB_FILE in your web server log files.
Kind regards
Christian

ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION during the connection of the customer
Hello
I'm a junior dba and I was hoping if someone could help me with a problem I have. I recently installed on the oracle 10g client on my windows machine. I am trying to remote connect to my database on a unix machine, but I get error trying to connect from the client below.
ERROR:
ORA-00604: an error has occurred at the SQL level 1 recursive
ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION
I did some searching on that and I think it might be something to do with the NLS_LANG setting maybe. I do not know if and to be honest, I'm a little lost on this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. See you soon.
RGS,
RobHello
what the SQL you gave?
Check the run-> regedit NLS_LANG parameter and change it according to env

After that we stopped getting emails of this instance. When I checked the crontab file and run the scripts manually. It showed the following error.

Published by: Gerard may 24, 2012 11:52I guess that the problem is caused by
v_utl_filehandler := UTL_FILE.FOPEN(v_file_dir, v_file_name, 'r');
Is the path to the directory "MAIL_DIR" exists in your database server?
The file 'mailattachment.doc' exists in this path?
You have read access to this path?You can check the path of the directory with:
select * from all_directories where directory_name='MAIL_DIR';
When the directory does not exist in this table, you need to create (such as s/n):
CREATE DIRECTORY MAIL_DIR AS 'yourdirectory';
To grant read access to the DBA, you need:
GRANT READ ON DIRECTORY MAIL_DIR TO
; (Overall precondition is that the oracle user (operating system - the user running your oracle instance) can access the given directory).

ORA-01839: invalid date for the specified month
Hello
I don't know if this is the right place for posting this... but I got the following errors in my alert log file (10.2.0.1)

The problem is the date is not valid for the specified month, my question is how do I solve this problem. This is a newly created database.

2 jobs I have are:

Please help. Thank you.
Published by: user10427867 on March 31, 2009 12:00The work is probably assigned a group of windows, probably MAINTENANCE_WINDOW_GROUP. The task will run in this window. Try these queries.
select schedule_name from dba_scheduler_jobs where job_name = 'AUTO_SPACE_ADVISOR_JOB'; select next_start_date from dba_scheduler_window_groups where window_group_name = 'MAINTENANCE_WINDOW_GROUP'; -- or the value returned by the first query if different
Since it is a work of Oracle supplied, I recommend you contact Oracle support. The trace file contains other useful information?

Names that begin with numbers are not legal partition names. A fool created by placing them between double quotes. You will need to do the same.

ORA-01722: invalid, range of 9999999,000 to 0,0000013
Hello
I have trouble with the error invalid number. In the game of results (a few thousand lines), there is no non-numeric characters.
Export in MS Excel and looking at all the values of this column I can´t find non-digital is but notice
that the data range is between 9999999,000 and 0,0000013, I wonder if the zero´s many are indeed looking very non digital Oracle.
I admit, the number format is bad.
Now... How can I fix that?
The error for what follows is: error: ORA-01481: invalid number format model
Select 'small number' of the double where to_number (0,0000013) < 1;
Error: ORA-01722: invalid number
Select 'large number' of the double where to_number (9999999,0) > 1
Select 'large number' of the double where to_number (9999999,000) > 1
The problem is the comma instead of the time, but I can't find a format of reasonable number that matches
my maximum and minimum values.
Example:
SELECT to_number (0.0000013, ' 9999999999, ' NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS = ",". ") OF THE DOUBLE
Can someone help me with the number formatting?

Cannot connect through the ORA-01017 Invalid Username/Password database link
Hello
I have two virtual machines with Oracle 11 g 2 and one with Oracle 12 c installed on RHEL 6
I wanted to install a dblink between the 2, but after you have created the dblink I get error: ORA - 01017 Invalid username/password
Now, I know, the error is clear enough but when I try to connect using netmgr it works
So just to summarize, Oracle 12 c, I'm trying to connect to Oracle 11 g using a DBLINK but I get ORA-01017
Since Oracle 12 c, I created a new service so that I have the remote db alias in tnsname.ora and at the end of the process, when they ask for test connection, I can connect successfully to remote db
Then I created a dblink according to the following:
SQL > CREATE PUBLIC DBLINK LINK DATABASE to CONNECT to
"hr""" IDENTIFIED BY ' password ' with the HELP of 'REMOTEDB ';
If I then select * from employees@dblink, I get the error
What I've noticed, it is that in the 11g (the target machine) I can not connect with OS authentication, don't know if its related
If i: sqlplus / as sysdba I get ORA-01031 insufficient become
I have to connect to the Linux box as user 'oracle', who is a member of the groups oinstall dba
Am I missing something?
Thank you!
CHRI$ says:
SQL > CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK DBLINK TO CONNECT TO
'hr' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' with the HELP of "REMOTEDB";
You will probably have to create the link without containing the user name and the word in double quotes.

No sign of setting shaped or ' $' is seen in the data, which is the reason why I guess you used the conversions in the * ctl file.
What is the problem with this symbol $ in the code?
No problem with the ' $'-what I mean is that it is not necessary.
Looking for him "$" field and exclude it from your text/number (SUBSTR) and if there is no "$" in your file, this additional training is not mandatory - why clutter up your code with unnecessary functions?
Regarding the error you get, it is related to the format mask, you provide:
Message #20:
Select to_number (substr (146, instr(146,'$') + 1), '999,999,999.99') of double
o/p: 146
Select to_number (substr (1469, instr(1469,'$') + 1), '999,999,999.99') of double
Error: ORA-01722: invalid number
1. you must use "146" (text) and no 146 (number).
2. ' 146' works because it "fits" the format mask you supplied: 999 999,999. 99. " but '1469' does not like the format mask expects one ',' as the delimiter of thousands, that is, "1 469'."
Select to_number (substr (1, 469', instr('1,469','$') + 1), '999,999,999.99') twice;
Similarly, in the #22 Post:
to_number (substr (' 752,3308', instr ('752.3308', ' $') + 1), 999, 999 999,99') of double
4 decimals are consistent with the format DP 2 mask.
Simply remove all masks of format.

ORA-01722: invalid number calculation error during the treatment.
My version of the APEX is Application Express 4.2.6.00.03
I imported apex application 4.0.2 and his object of decision-making support in my apex.
Its installed successfully.
But when I try to run this application it show me this error:
ORA-01722: invalid number calculation error during the treatment.
Thank you guys for your help.
I found the solution.
There was a problem in the authentication scheme.
I called function as return function_name in 4.0.2
but in the Apex 4.2.6 to call a function word return is not necessary.
He was throwing the error caused that Word back.

Please can I know what is the problem.
Put your name of the partition in upper case and double coate as:
'BIG_TABLE_2007 '.
The capital should not be a problem, but it is better to be like that because it will store like this in the table USER or ALL_TAB_PARTITIONS.
This makes it easier to compare if you need to check if a partition already exists or not.
Hope this can help you.
