ORA-28528 errors or incomplete data when access an Informix Server

We have configured a dblink to an Informix server. We use UnixODBC + Informix CSDK on a RHEL 4 x86_64.

After running several queries, we saw 3 different situations:

The result of the query is correct.

B. the result is incomplete. The table can have 24 ranks, but the output indicates that 13. However, Oracle receives 24 ranks, as indicated at the end of the output.

C. data type conversion error.

SQL > select * from 'centros"@test_informix2;
ERROR:
ORA-28528: heterogeneous Services data type conversion error
ORA-02063: preceding the line of TEST_INFORMIX2

    Hi all

    This question was asked several times in this forum and I went to many discussions in this forum, but unfortunately I failed.

    I want to connect to MySQL database to oracle. I have the following configurations.

    1. Oracle database edition company 12 c (12.1.0.2.0) 64 bits on 64-bit Windows server 2012
    2. I have 5.6.11 MySQL on windows 7 64 bit
    3. I downloaded the driver site for delivery of oracle ODBC (MySQL Connector/ODBC 5.3.4 MSI for Windows x 86 (64 bit))
    4. I have install ODBC on my oracle server, a full install which installs the Unicode and Ansi versions.
    5. I create the connection ODBC for Unicode by going to control panel-> administrator tools-> (64-bit) ODBC Data Sources-> system DSN. I test and the test succeeded.
    6. I have set up my files Listner.ora, Tnsname.ora and initmysql.ora as below;

    create public database link mysql connect to test identified by test using 'mysql';

    then I try the table1 which lies in the scheme of test of MySQL to sqlplus as below

    I have tried versions of Ansi and Unicode ODBC, but the same question.

    where is the problem in my setup?

    Thank you.

    You use the wrong host name in the tnsnames.ora.

    Take a look at the Oracle listener - it is configured with the address: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))

    In your tnsnames.ora you specified in the mysql alias: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = N410FS02)(PORT = 1521))

    It does not work. Alias configured in the tnsnames.ora AMT must reference an Oracle listener who begins the process of bridge, so in your case at ORADEV.hct.org.

    So please correct your tnsnames.ora entry:

    MySQL =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SID = mysql)

    )

    (HS = OK)

    )

    AAASF/AAKAABacyAAA

    To resolve this problem, we have 3 options

    (1) to restore and recover the LOB segment using physical backup.

    (2) empty LOBs affected using the UPDATE, as mentioned in the Note 787004.1statement:

    SQL > update SCAN_UPLOADEDFILES_TEMP

    Set FILE_BLOB = empty_blob()

    where rowid in (select corrupted_rowid

    of corrupted_lob_data);

    SQL > commit;

    (3) perform the export, excluding the corrupt ROWID. by adding the following to export command parameter

    Query =------"where rowid not in (\'AAASF/AAKAABacyAAA\'\) \ \" "

    Hello

    I realize that your problem is that 10.2 HSODBC was never focused on the Windows 64-bit platform and was only available on 32-bit Windows.  You can not install the 32-bit on WIndows 64-bit HSODBC.

    Your only option is to install 11.2 DG4ODBC on your platform Windows 64 - bit, or if you have a RDBMS 10.2 installed on another platform, then you could use HSODBC as part of this installation and connect from the RDBMS on Windows 64 - bit using the links in the database.  HSODBC 10.2 software could not be installed as a stand-alone product and was only available as part of an RDBMS install.

  • Once again - ORA-28545: error diagnosed by Net8 when connecting to an agent

    I am trying to connect to a SQL server server 2012

    I make the connections ODBC (called MOFIBO2, MOFIBO3, MOFIBO4) and I have a successful connection to then SQL server.

    The Oracle database is:

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production

    I made 3 versions of the initdg4odbc.ora and they all look the same:

    # This is an example of initialization file of the agent that contains the HS settings

    # necessary for the database to ODBC gateway

    #

    # HS init parameters

    #

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = MOFIBOx (MOFIBO2, MOFIBO3 and MOFIBO4)

    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = off

    #

    # Required for the non-Oracle system environment variables

    #

    #set < varenv > = < value >

    My lisener.ora look like this:

    listener.ora # Network Configuration file: C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN\listener.ora

    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    LISTENER =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ORACLE_HOME = C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1)

    (= Extproc PROGRAM)

    (SID_NAME = RESPTEST)

    )

    (SID_NAME = MOFIBO2)

    (ORACLE_HOME = C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1)

    (SID_NAME = MOFIBO3)

    )

    ADR_BASE_LISTENER = C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\log

    And my share of tnsnames.ora mofibo then look like this (I did three variants as different "manual" using different methods):

    MOFIBO2 =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = resp-ora02)(PORT=1521))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SID = MOFIBO2)

    )

    (HS = OK)

    )

    MOFIBO3 =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = resp-ora02)(PORT=1521))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SERVER = DEDICATED)

    (SID_NAME = MOFIBO3)

    )

    (HS = OK)

    )

    MOFIBO4 =

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SERVER = DEDICATED)

    (SERVICE_NAME = MOFIBO4)

    Hello

    In the listener.ora, you have the host as -

    (HOST = RESP-ora01)

    but in tnsnames.ora entries you have.

    (HOST = RESP-ouA02)

    The tnsnames.ora host must be the same as the host of the listener.

    Unless you have a listener running on the RESP-ouA02 it is not clear why the tnsping returns a result.

    Change the host in the tnsnames.ora and let us know what happens.

    Hi Charles,

    I had a look at your page 21.

    The problem was that the 'Values of Fetch 2' process was not conditioned and was running in the point of the process "on the load - before the Header." That meant he was running whenever the page is loaded. This process checks the value CUSTOMER_ID in P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME that, because the process of "search for the line...". "has not been performed at that time there (he turns"on the charge - after the Header"), will always return the same value CUSTOMER_ID from when the page was first loaded. The next/previous buttons, however, moved the front/rear P21_CUSTOMER_ID only one value (this became obvious when this field was changed from 'Hidden and protected' to 'Text'). Therefore, the data on the page was for "Albert" but was it to CUSTOMER_ID for any document was previous to the Albert one. Thus, moving next/previous always caused a mixture of real data.

    I changed the "Fetch values 2" process to depend on P21_CUSTOMER_ID is NULL. In this way, the CUSTOMER_ID value found ONLY by code when the page is loaded for the first time. Subsequently, it is controlled by the next/previous feature.

  • Error of date when migrating to SQL Server to Oracle

    Hi all

    I'm the database migration SQL Server to Oracle.

    But the tool I use is not secret the date type GBA, so I'm stuck with tables that have particular date types.

    For example: the 'DATECAPTURED' column in the 'SIGNATURE' table in the SQL Server database has values:

    15-02-2013 10:03:48.387
    15-02-2013 10:01:05.930
    15-02-2013 09:59:07.197
    15-02-2013 09:50:15.797
    15-02-2013 09:39:15.557
    15-02-2013 09:37:12.643

    Why oracle can be able to accept this type of date format? :( I thought he is more intelligent than SQLserver :)

    My solution is to change any date to varchar2 (30).

    More bright ideas? while I cannot change data types?

    Thank you

    Well, just a piece of advice. If you read the watch (and wait) documentation for the responses on the web and on various forums and try to do all the work, you are probably going to stay busy!

    in any case, I'll try another tool like sqldeveloper migration. For now, I have many things to research so I'd settle for the same time, workaround. New test is required for the tool.

    Good luck!

    I was taking just opportunities here if someone met the same problem as mine ;)

    It was not a problem of IMO, but was ignorance. People here know any Timestamp data type for SOME time I think and how, because they read the docs!

  • Win 7 Pro - make a name of user and password request when accessing to the server computer in the workgroup. Credentials, then considered non valid.

    Recently bought a Dell Dimension 3847 with Windows 7 Pro to replace a workstation that is connected to a network that uses Windows Server 2003. I already set up two other PC's (not same model) with Win 7 Pro, for existing users and had no problems whatsoever. The user of this workstation is an existing one (implemented as an administrator).  I've set up his account and she joined the working group. The other computers in the workgroup are listed under network location. However, when I tried to access the server computer in the Working Group, I got a pop-up window asking for a username and password. This would not have taken place. However, I entered the username and password for that particular user and received a message that the user name and password were not valid. I set up my user account (it has administrative privileges too), on this computer, joined the Working Group, Windows recognizes the other computers in the workgroup, but when I tried to access the server computer I got the same pop-up and had the same problem with my credentials not being recognized. While remaining under my user name, I tried and then access the server computer again but when I arrived at the prompt for the user name and password, I used the 'Administrator' user name with the appropriate password (the credentials used to connect to the server computer) and it worked. I registered to the account of the other user and used the same method to access the server and it worked as well. Any ideas why the user credentials, other than the administrator account, are not recognized?

    very thorough control. Message on how to remove the error message if still it y
    After the audits of malware.

    If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
    scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
    resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

    No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often
    easy to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the
    payload. So its best to be now too thorough than paying the high price later. Check
    with an extreme overdose point and then run the cleaning only when you are very
    that the system is clean.

  • Error 0 x 80070570 when you access my flash drive using windows 7

    I get an error 0 x 80070570 when you access my flash drive using windows 7, but the same flash drive works perfectly on two other PC's with Windows XP. It's frustrating because I need to backup and transfer files.

    Hello

    1 you get an error message with this error code?
    2. is it a problem with this particular flash drive only or all flash drives?

    Let us run the check disk utility.
    Here's how:
    a. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
    b. click the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
    c. click on the Tools tab and then, under error-checking, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.
    To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
    d. Click Start.

    Depending on the size of your drive, it may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.

    Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you, and in what concerns:
