  The previous user explained everything very well. For the new operating system installation you must use supplied recovery media. It contains BONES, all the drivers you need and also all Toshiba designed and utility tools.

  Procedure recovery takes about 20 minutes, but after that finish you'll still factory settings as the first day.

  Regarding your use of the Internet I can not tell you much, but try to connect LAN cable and you will see how it looks like.

  Emagent, it's that something in relation to the grid control. Grid control, you can manage multiple databases from a single point. But for a single database you don't need grid or emagent. DBCONTROL just enough. What do you see when you run:

  #emctl dbconsole status

  If dbconsole is stopped, you can start by

  #emctl start dbconsole

  When you start dbconsole with the above command, you will also see the url for the EM. Dbconsole EM is just a web management interface. You must also have a repository. When you create an oracle repository will create just schemas named 'sysman' and 'general '. It will create the objects (tables, views etc.) under these schemes. Infact the data you see on the EM console is filled with these patterns. That's why you need a repository for the EM work.

  Many of the entries in the index of some of my level 1 manuals may have long lists of level 2 entries under them, and sometimes it will break the long list of columns or pages. I would like to start the new column or page with "Topic A," before returning to the list of entries of level 2 (where "Section A" is the level 1 entry). How can I do this? So far, I have two choices to deal with long lists of level 2 entries that break between pages/columns: (1) insert a page or column break before the level 1 entry, which can make this very short column with lots of empty space (doesn't look very good), or simply allow the entry of level 2 list to break without trying to keep the whole list in a single column. Sometimes, this works well, but there are times when no solution is sufficient and I would like to be able to inform the user that a list back to page 3 of the index is in fact the continuation of the same list on page 2.

  Online help provides instructions for inserting variables continuation in the tables. I was unable to find information on how to add to a long list of Index entries.

  I use FM version 8 for Windows (XP). However, I remember being able to do several years (between 1997 and 2002), so that this feature was present in early versions of FM unfortunately, I can't remember how to do it.

  The system is Vista Ultimate (64-bit) Service Pack 2.

  * Reset Windows Update via KB 971058
  * Check the files with the file system Checker: no problem found
  * Downloaded KB 976325 as a stand-alone file, the update failed (no error given)
  * Ran Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner: no problems found.
  * Ran Windows Defender quick scan: no ound problems
  * Clean the registry and temporary files with Windows Defender

  There must be a solution to this problem!

  In desperation, I tried the Windows 7 upgrade.  The upgrade failed at the last step.  Vista was reinstalled and it works OK.  However, I can't yet do the KB 976325 update!  Oh, the Windows Defender definitions file has been updated through Windows Update fine.

  FYI-you are in the right forum.  All Windows Update components are in the same enclosure.  It is important to publish the specifications of your system, as you did.

  OK, lets start with a few basics.  This KB976325 update is an update of security for Internet Explorer 7.
  -First question is therefore always you use IE7 or have you moved to IE8?
  -If you are looking for your update history is this show as installed KB?  It is possible that it is already installed and that it is presented again for some reason any.

  Yes you can choose to replace - this will copy new versions of the dbhome and other executables in/usr/ocal/bin which are backward compatible with earlier versions. The rewriting process does not change or interfere with existing databases or software.
