Oracle 12 c (12.1.0.1): joint audit with audit_trail = XML mode, no check XML file generated
Hello
Working on a new installation of Oracle 12 c EE (12.1.0.1) in RHEL 6.5 environment: joint audit mode (unified audit trail is turned on) and audit_trail = XML.
However, no verification of the XML files are generated in audit_file_dest. What additional configuration is required to use audit_trail = XML in joint audit mode?
Hello
If you enable audit unified, that is no longer the mixed mode, mixed mode, that's what you get by default, once you enable the unified audit all audit records will share the internal unified audit trail and xml audit is no longer works (essentially audit_trail parameter is ignored).
Greetings,

Reva
Could you please help me how to insert my XML content into that.
Same as before, try a plain old INSERT:
insert into xml_pecos
values)
XmlType (bfilename ('XML_DIR', "test.xml"), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'))
);
But you'll probably hit the same limitation as with the binary XMLType table.
In this case, you can use FTP to load the file as a resource in the XML DB repository.
If the XML schema has been registered with the hierarchy enabled then the file will be automatically inserted into the table.
Could you post the exact statement that you used to save the scheme?
In the meantime, you can also read this article, I did a few years ago, it covers the XML DB features that may be useful here, including details on how to load the file via FTP:
https://odieweblog.WordPress.com/2011/11/23/Oracle-XML-DB-a-practical-example/
And documentation of the course: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e23094/xdb06stt.htm#ADXDB4672

All files generated by a coil in sqlplus receive ownership of oracle: dba instead of the user of the BONE started sqlplus and run the script. There's a file with users owners of BONES of the coil.
Script launched in until OS user 'A' on the 'A' server which launches sqlplus, then connects to a remote database through a service of tnsnames.ora as another user of the database and the results of this script are spoulées on the server "A".
The file queued on the old server is written with rw-rw-r: read write user, group read the writing, reading and possession header that is the user of the OS. The file queued on the new server is written to rw-r-r user: reading writing, reading group, public reading and ownership oracle: dba.
"" The user then has no privileges to modify the file and continue the process of transmitting the file, editing and deleting the file for the next set of commands. This allows us to keep the possibility to migrate to the new server we are unable to process orders.
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus - s user/password@prd1 @./script/CustomScript/R12_OM_UFPC-oracle.sql
Background: old server running 4.8, Oracle 10.2.0.4 OEL
New server running OEL 6.5, Oracle 11.2.0.4
Tested so far:
File and update umask to 0002 instead of 0022 is now generated as rw-r-r. However, the property is still oracle: dba.
Update of ownershipt of $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle.exe of oracle: oracle (edi added the user to the oracle group) and chmod 6751 oracle.exe. This created several problems where crucial scripts, that is to say of sqlplus failed to run.
Added! chmod 755 output.file.name - OS user 'A' is not allowed to change to mod.
Added! command cp MV output file and that generated the file as a user of the operating system: oracle. It is a potential work around in case of emergency, but the developer would have to rewrite the countless scripts.
Any ideas?
I have reproduced the behavior of the old server and am able to spool a file via sqlplus under OS user. No changes have been made on the remote database server. All the changes have been on the new server hosting a small 11.2.0.4 database on a server running OEL 6.5 32 - bit OS.
(1) removed the sticky bit $ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus using chmod u-s, g-s, o - s suggestion of Billy ~ Verreynne
(2) modified the main group for the 'oracle' user match the user operating system applications, while maintaining membership in the groups 'oracle' and 'dba '.
-We are dealing with here EDI processes, so the Group was called edi.
(3) modified property of the files tnsnames.ora and listener.ora for oracle: edi
(4) restart the receiver
(5) disconnect / reconnect
Script runs as expected, the output file contains the correct ownership and permissions.
Thank you all for taking a look and offering options.

SandrineYou know the code of real character behind "" or you receive the file like that?
For the record, "" is the wildcard of UTF-8 (0xEFBFBD), so that the original character of the means has already been replaced and that very probably the file was not coded properly in the first place.
With respect to the resolution of the problem, try another method to read the file:

Creating Oracle's XML files in a directory
Hi all
I was going through the concepts Oracle XMLDB and discovered that we can create an XML file using the instructions normal select.
Now, I create an Oracle Directory that points to the remote Unix computer.
I want to know if we can create this XML file in the directory that points to the remote Unix directory.
I don't want to use here the concepts of coil or UTL_FILE.
Receive your answer on that.

XML for the interface Oracle even insert County regardless of input XML file
Do not know how to get around this one... I have an interface that simply transfers the contents of an XML file into an Oracle table. I get the same count insert and documents regardless of the XML file that I use.
I used a property with this file, but then just decided to use memory to process the file. So, in the physical architecture of the topology XML object, I simply specify the name of the file, xsd and the schema.
Any thoughts on what's going on / what to check?try adding dod = true (Drop on logout) to the XML server in the topology Manager.
This happens due to the fact that XML driver does not release the contents of the XML in memory. You must restart the agent to get the updated data. -
Problem with the date when you load the XML file into Oracle Database 10g
Hi all
I have the interface as shown in the screenshot below. In this document, among other things, I am mapping to an element XML file representing a date to an Oracle table column defined as DATE. The source and target columns are highlighted in the screenshot.
When I run the interface, I get the following error message:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException to java.sql.Date.valueOf(Date.java:103)
I guess that this is the conversion of the date!
I already tried to replace SRC_TRADES. DEAL_DATE with TO_DATE (SRC_TRADES. DEAL_DATE, ' DD/MM/YYYY') on the implementation tab. This feature was not recognized when I executed the interface, so it did not work! The value of date in the XML file is in the format DD/MM/YYYY .
I guess that Date SQL Oracle functions do not work in the implementation tab. Could someone let me know:
1. what the Date Conversion function I could use instead?
2. where can I find a reference to the methods/functions that I use in the implementation tab (if such a reference exists)?
See you soon.
JamesHello.
Try changing the area of execution at the staging area. Once you change it, write in the map box just SRC_TRADERS. DEAL_DATE. When you use TO_DATE, the source field typu should be varchar2, no date (as it is in store for your data source)

Hello. (I use JDev 10.1.3.3.0)
I have an oracle database. I want to know if there is an easy way to put the data in this table in an xml file that looks a little like this:
< table name >
< name of column 1 > it is data < / name of the column of 1 >
more columns here
...
< / table name >
I know not how I would do it manually, but I was wondering if there is a faster solution.
Thank you.http://download.Oracle.com/docs/HTML/B25947_01/bcadvvo007.htm#sm0338

JOINT-2 flow in Bypass Mode?
HI, I have documentation cisco joint-2 a 500Mbps flow in inline mode and the throughput of 600Mbps in passive.so guess our ihsane-2's in inline mode, then if we put our joint-2 in Bypass mode, how traffic joint-2 can handle without any inspection? (flow)?
Thank you.
The JOINT-2 would be only supported to the same 500Mbps for inspection and by-pass.
There is not a separate ByPass mode ranking.
Having said that, the JOINT-2 will be much higher than 500Mbps in ByPass mode (assuming that nothing else on the sensor).
But I don't know how much of more since don't usually test us the performance in ByPass mode.
You wouldn't want to plan your network on the performance of ByPass capacity.
The other reason is that when the sensor bypass there will be something else in the sensor.
In the case of an update of the Signature, there will be a treatment of signing consuming much of the CPU and memory for ByPass will not perform to its peak performance.

Groups on a joint network with Server 2003, Windows 7 and XP
I have a network of small business running off an old server running Windows server 2003. The workstations are 7 machines of Windows 7 and XP 3. I would set up a group to easily share files not related to the common programme currently running on the server as well as share printers more easily, but have een advised by an "expert" do not do, as it network program (medical office) my will suffer. Including the old labels dymo and lexmark printer sharing is a pain though it might be easier thanks to the homegroup. I should have updated the drivers on all computers by using the printers or only those connected via usb? If I need to change the workgroup name? I know that XP machines cannot participate in the home group, but we can work around this problem.
The bottom line is that homegroup can be used with Windows 7 computers. You must set up a joint working group to share files/printers between the XP Win 7 machines. Insofar as the server running W2K3 domain?
For W2K3 networks I suggest posting on the TechNet forums...

Hello
In our society, we have oracle server on Suse Linux with two instances TETA and TETA201.
One day on a server broke down, because there is no free space due growing files 'archivelog.
After that I manually deleted several older archivelog files, but after the reboot, the server error occurs when connecting to the database:
"ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory
Process ID: 0
"Session ID: serial number 0: 0"
$ ORACLE_SID is set to TETA, if export it to TETA201 connection works correctly
Oracle service startup there is no errors but only one instance is running TETA201 works correctly
