Oracle Adf application running to form 11g

Hi all

I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0,I created ADF application and I implement dynamic UI sell in my app.

Where, by clicking on the left navigation, the new taskflow opens in a tab (using API).

Ex, on clicking the search with navigation link, SearchTaskFlow opens in a new tab.

Can I run some screens with even adf 11g Forms application in the same way that I call TaskFlows in navigation company?

Kind regards

    Thus,.
    I m not getting what is the problem and what will be the solution for this?
    What should I do?
    What changes are required?

    Please, help me out of this problem!

    If you don't want to revert to the version support for JDeveloper, I suggest that you look in the other accommodation options.

  • How to identify if ADF application running on PC or Tablet?

    Hi ADF experts!

    My question is simple: how to identify if ADF application running on PC or Tablet?

    We need to know this, because we need to provide a different presentation for the same application to run on the tablet.

    We need this because we have a problem with < af:selectOneRadio > option buttons that are in a table column.

    When the application is run on the IPAD, there is a control of pagination for the < af:table > with a property 'FetchSize' of the table (default 25).

    All values in the < af:selectOneRadio > are displayed properly as on the first page.

    When you browse on the second page, all values in the < af:selectOneRadio > disappeared, it's like they are not defined. Even when we sail on the second page on the first page, the values have disappeared.

    So the question is:

    How to identify if ADF application running on PC or Tablet?

    OR

    Is there a way to activate the Tablet OFF when paging control?

    We have JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0.

    Please advice.

  • Oracle ADF Application Social network in the user interface integration

    Hello

    I'm new to ADF so that NSOS, I went through the tutorial of the ADF (development of RIA Web Applications with Oracle ADF) and heard a little.

    My requirement is to integrate the Social network of the Oracle ADF web application user interface. I found the link "implementation Oracle integration of social networks - 11g Release 7 (11.1.7)" "

    I find difficulty in the rest of the documentation, especially the pre-requisites.

    * I use JDeveloper version 11.1.1.7.0 and I downloaded all updates related to webcenter in my JDeveloper.

    I would ask to add a few screenshots more that explain where to find the URL of network Social Oracle JDeveloper.

    Otherwise a simple tutorial with screenshots would be a great help!

    Thank you

    MC.

    MC, the documentation you are looking at is specific to the Fusion Apps integration with Oracle Social Network developers.  If you are looking to make the ADF development credits, including work against NSO then this is probably not the starting point.  You are a developer of Fusion applications, or you are already a customer Oracle Cloud Apps with a NSO and application that you are trying to extend?  If you could give a little more background on what you're trying to achieve, we will be able to advise the right path to take.

    Thank you, Andy

  • ADF 12 c, ADF application run twice the search query

    Hi all

    I use JDeveloper 12.1.2 version and I'm working on the performance of the component of motion of the ADF.

    I notice that when you click on the button to search for a query of the ADF component, the sql query is performed 2 times (I drop a test seen as a request of the adf and a table).

    The first time you do a search from the first query has no filter. After the first search the two queries are always the same. Is this a known bug?

    How can I removed the second query not useful?

    Kind regards

    This is a known bug (https://java.net/jira/browse/ADFEMG-159) and is fixed 12.1.3. The seams heading a different error, but reading the whole comments, you'll see your mistake.

  • Clustered using Oracle ADF - CHECK_STATE_SERIALIZATION = all

    We use Oracle ADF 11.1.1.6. We have started to test our Oracle ADF application for cluster compatibility and used according to the document. We coded all recommendations figure in the document including allowing all classes of java there is place of serialization and also configure adf_config.xml < adfc:adf - scope-ha-support > true < / adfc:adf - scope-ha-support > and < adf:adf - scope-ha-support > true < / adf:adf - scope-ha-support > exactly as in in the document.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E12839_01/core.1111/e10106/ADF.htm

    Now, to verify the high availability on a stand-alone server of web logic for debugging use we have configured the Java Option '-Dorg.apache.myfaces.trinidad.CHECK_STATE_SERIALIZATION = all "in accordance with the recommendation.

    After the definition of this indicator system started throwing loads of mistakes similar to the below given error.

    [2012 07-26 T 14: 17:43.602 - 04:00] [OPERA_ADF1] [ERROR] [] [org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.config.CheckSerializationConfigurator$ MutatedBeanChecker] [tid: [ASSETS].] [ExecuteThread: '17' for queue: "(self-adjusting) weblogic.kernel.Default"] [userId: edozer] [ecid: 64915ee7c1860d85:40a983d1:138bf4550b2:-7ffd - 0000000000005fcb, 0] [APP: OperaApplications_o90_smoke #V9.0.0] failover error: attribute: Serialization of the Session data is increased from oracle.adf.model.servlet.HttpBindingContext@365f8709 to oracle.adf.model.servlet.HttpBindingContext@36b6565b without the attribute being dirtied

    The question here is what are we missing?

    Please note that our application is still missing ControllerContext.getInstance () .markScopeDirty (pageFlowScope); but when I tried to create a sample application and deliberately left the 'markScopeDirty' using code below the above error was not reproducible.

    public class myBackingBean
    {
    public void changeValueButton (ActionEvent ae)
    {
    Map < String, Object > pageFlowScope = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getPageFlowScope ();
    pageFlowTestBean obj = (pageFlowTestBean) pageFlowScope.get ('pageFlowTestBean');
    System.out.println ("Old value" + obj.getYVar ());
    obj.setYVar ("new value");
    / * ControllerContext.getInstance () .markScopeDirty (pageFlowScope); */
    }
    }

    Anyone can shade more light on this subject?

    Also, I would like to know that someone can guide me what is the best practice to perform a ControllerContext.getInstance () .markScopeDirty (pageFlowScope); Because developers can easily miss this statement and I have not found any easy way to find code that is missing from this statement (I've already tried the Audit of Jdeveloper feature and it works for very rare cases).

    Hello

    Only when you do a Session.put (), the framework will know something has changed in the session Object and mark its scope as dirty and and he will try to replicate this object in another server...

    If change you it by reference. He won't try to reproduce the object in another server.
    For example, if you make below by changing something by reference, you must explicitly mark scopedirty. otherwise, the framework will not replicate the object to the failover server.

    In your code

    Card pageFlowScope = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getPageFlowScope ();
    pageFlowTestBean obj = (pageFlowTestBean) pageFlowScope.get ('pageFlowTestBean');
    System.out.println ("Old value" + obj.getYVar ());
    obj.setYVar ("new value");
    you change the value above by reference. So, unless you set the dirty scope this change in the PageFlowscope will not be replicated to another server.
    At this stage when a failover occurs, obj.getYVar () in the new server will always be the old value.

  • "a regular basis" to run a report form 11g

    I'm migration 6i c/s to 11g web app.

    I will have some difficulty in understanding how reports work now:

    In 6i, I used to code calls with run_report_object or even run_product built-ins, and the report went straight to the user's screen or printer.

    (Now I have seen that you can not send it directly to the printer, but we can live with that).

    Now I use the solutions I've read discussions like this:

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2184172

    My work is as follows:

    PROCEDURE Pf_Run_Report_Object (p_report_id REPORT_OBJECT) IS

      l_report_server varchar2(100);
      l_rep_out   VARCHAR2(100);
      l_report_job_id VARCHAR2(100);
      l_report_status varchar2(100);
      l_wait date := sysdate + (5/1440);
      Begin
       tool_env.getvar('REPORTS_SERVER_NAME', l_report_server);
       IF l_report_server IS NULL THEN
        Raise Form_Trigger_Failure;
       END IF;

       Set_report_object_property(p_report_id, REPORT_SERVER, l_report_server);

      Set_Application_Property(CURSOR_STYLE, 'BUSY');
      l_rep_out := RUN_REPORT_OBJECT(p_report_id);

      l_report_job_id := Substr(l_rep_out, instr(l_rep_out,'_',-1)+1);

      l_report_status := REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS(l_rep_out);

      WHILE sysdate < l_wait AND l_report_status IN ('RUNNING','OPENING_REPORT','ENQUEUED')
      LOOP
           l_report_status := REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS(l_rep_out);
      END LOOP;

      IF l_report_status = 'FINISHED' THEN
      WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT('/reports/rwservlet/getjobid='||l_report_job_id||'?server='|| l_report_server,'_blank');
      ELSE
      MESSAGE('Report error: '||l_report_status);
      END IF;

      Set_Application_Property(CURSOR_STYLE, 'DEFAULT');

      End Pf_Run_Report_Object;

    All hardcoded that names of statutes and the property url... seem like a bug ticking. Also the loop 5 min... Don't like.

    It works... but it seems so crappy that I can't believe this is the usual way to simply run a report:

    How do you call a report in form 11g?

    I would recommend that you start here:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/Developer-Tools/Forms/documentation/integrating-forms11g-and-reports11g-1905204.PDF

    Here's what happens:

    1. your forms application requests that a report (rdf, rep, etc.) is executed. (Running is not identical to present)

    2. once the report is run and the data has been retrieved, the output is stored on the file system of the server in the format that you define (html, pdf, etc.)

    3. your Forms application can now retrieve the complete report when desired using the JobID reports.  WEB. SHOW_DOCUMENT is most often used, but other extraction methods are possible.

    As to why you coded a timer in the code, I can't speak for it, but you don't need.  Yet once again, refer to the doc above and it will explain how to launch and retrieve a report.

  • Oracle forms 11g can be deployed on the WebSphere from IBM server?

    I found the following paragraph regarding the Middleware components that are supported on IBM WebSphere, but this list does not specifically mention the Oracle Forms or Oracle reports.  Does anyone know if Oracle Forms and reports works OK on the IBM WebSphere server?   Thank you!

    You can configure the following Oracle Fusion Middleware components on the servers of third-party application support:

    • Oracle SOA Suite
    • Oracle WebCenter Portal
    • Oracle WebCenter content
    • Oracle Data Integrator
    • Oracle Business Intelligence
    • Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF)
    • Oracle Application Developer Runtime

    For this release of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, Oracle supports only IBM WebSphere Application Server as an application server third-party for these products to Oracle Fusion Middleware.

    Oracle Forms/Reports 11 is not supported with WebSphere.  Its installation requires the deployment in Oracle WLS 10.3.x.

  • Call Oracle ADF Forms - refresh problem makes it unusable!

    Hello world!

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 and I need to call a form of Oracle (10g of form) inside my ADF application. I did exactly what is explained in the Oracle documentation at this link

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/articles/ADF/Wilfred-ADF-forms-099635.html

    and it works very well. I put the code within a region which lies in a page of tabs in my ADF application. The problem is that do EVERYTHING outside this form (tab page change, press a button,...) makes the page refresh and my form resets (in fact, this is the applet which reloads).

    How can I avoid this? Is it possible to make the form stay alive, even trigger events of the ADF? As it is now launching a form inside the ADF is completely useless.

    I posted this question also in the JDeveloper forum, but no answer then perhaps someone here can help you.

    Thanks in advance for any suggestion

    Roberto

    Shaped 11g, you can set the following parameter in the server configuration file Forms formsweb.cfg 'legacy_lifecycle = true', which will prevent the applet restart when the ADF pages are between the loading of the page. However, I don't know if it exists in the form of 10g. Give it a try.

    Thank you

  • JDev11G Vs Oracle Forms 11G

    Hello

    When it comes to the infrastructure to build an application on what benefits haver us with JDev11g forms 11g.

    Published by: OracleBabu on June 16, 2011 07:24

    Forms and require all two JDev/ADF FMW, or maybe I can be more specific and say that you need a license of FMW. Oracle Forms is accredited to work on Oracle FMW and you pay a license for it. For the ADF, you can deploy on a server of Oracle applications no, but you must still license FMW - but it is possible that the actual cost is less than the license of forms (but depends on).

    Here is my point of view - if you have loads of skills of forms and are already building Forms applications then it would be wise to consider forms. However, you might (and certainly consider) a long-term JDev/ADF. It could be a stand-alone well-defined project could be the perfect testbed for redevelopment of the ADF. The other point to consider is that this demand will be doing, how it will be used, and how it will be architected. If you are looking for expanded internet "self-service" applications and forms, then maybe isn't just for that. If you want to use BPM or Web Center then maybe JDev is better suited.

    Just think if you were doing some DIY, you start by saying "I'll use a hammer, okay, now what's the problem"... .or you would say "what problem am I trying to solve and what tool works best. After all, if you choose a hammer and what you want to do is paint a room then its going to be very difficult for you! (o).
