Oracle BAM in the BPM workspace

Hello world

Instead the user connection separately in Oracle BAM. can you have Oracle BAM and respective reports in the workspace BPM itself?. If the user does not need to connect to Oracle BAM separately. Thank you!.

You can view the information of BAM within an ADF UI (see Using Oracle & nbsp;) BAM data & nbsp; Control).

Once BAM is exposed as a data control in the ADF, it could be placed on a form.  The shape of the ADF could then showed that are performed human tasks in the BPM process or when a link is selected in the workspace or from the list of tasks.

    Pavan,

I think that the following link has the answer you are looking for
    http://beatechnologies.WordPress.com/2011/06/29/using-Flex-fields-in-Oracle-BPM-11g/

In short, a process variable is exposed as flex-fields.
These flex fields can be displayed in the workspace (inbox) of bpm.

  • Not able to see my Application deployed in the BPM workspace

    Hi guys,.

I am a newbie to BPM.

    I tried a BPM tutorial at: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/obpm/11g/r1/firstProcess/firstprocess_obpm11g.htm

I have developed successfully the entire process and the associated user interface. I have also deployed the same as those mentioned in the steps described in the link above.

But he said it's a tutorial that:

Instantiate the process by clicking on the link HelloWorldProcess v1.0 under Applications tab tasks on the left side of the window.

Note: If the link to v1.0 HelloWorldProcess does not appear in the Applications Panel tab tasks, click follow-up process . It must be mentioned. You can instantiate the process from this tab.

But I can't see the v1.0 HelloWorldProcess under Applications, nor on the follow-up process tab .

I use JDev 11.1.1.7 and the version of the Weblogic server is 10.3.6

Please suggest what to do or where I'm wrong?

Let me know if any additional entries are required of me.

    Thank you!

You need to check 2 things:

BPM - workspace-> of Directors: is your test user assigned directly, or indirectly through a group for the role of applicant (if not, assign and use the refresh icon in the applications tab)

-treat 'em-> task-> you hello application-> administration: you should see the server/port and the uri for the mask of the adf (if these settings are missing for a task of the initiator, the process is not visible under the requests)

  • API for all instances in the Oracle BPM workspace

    Hello

I have more than 10,000 instances that are AFFECTED in the BPM workspace State. I need to complete / remove the case as quickly as possible, since it affects end users. Y at - there no API to close based on the flex fields protected? Please advise me the easiest and the best way to carry out this activity.

    Thank you

    David Selvaraj

By the way: you ask what is the best way. Well the 'better' is to use the API. I can't say that the wsdl file is better then the java api, since one is one wrapper around the other. Also, there is not much or no difference between the versions of 12 c and 11g.

For me the easiest way would be to create a BPEL or OSB service to make a queryTasks and make a loop on the list. The tasks of query does not give you the payload of each task. So if you don't need to filter your tasks, you could do a transformation (xslt/xquery) on the task list retrieved to get these tasks at hand and loop over the result. If you need the payload fields to decide if the task should be completed, you will need to loop through each task, do a getTaskListById to get the workload and do a updateTaskOutcome (see above) under certain conditions the task.

But a java application would work as well.

  • 11g BPM workspace don't Show no user of OVD - highest authentication provider page

    Hello
We have added OVD connecting to LDAP as an authentication provider above for myrealm. The order of the providers are:

    (1) TPM (control indicator: ENOUGH)
    (2) DefaultAuthenticator(control Flag: REQUIRED)
    (3) DefaultIdentityAsserter

Users and groups of the OVD are displayed in the weblogic console and are available in OEM when I want to add the user/group to the application role, but not in the BPM workspace. I find a related thread:
WebLogic administrator account is inactive after activating the authenticator DB

It seems that I did the same thing, but I'm still able to workspace bpm connect you with the id of weblogic. I guess my BPM does not use the OVD for the authenticator at all and it is always using DefaultAuthenticator. Can anyone please help and let me know what I missed to the setting? Should I put DefaultIdentityAsserter on the 2nd in the provider list to fix this?

    Hi Helen
Yes. Even if you do all providers as SUFFICIENT, your username "weblogic" still works fine when you start the servers, weblogic and em consoles. It won't have a problem. Infact it is always good to have all the flags for all providers as sufficient if you have more then another provider.

Yes, it's only bpm/workspace for which weblogic will not work means that it will look at users/groups in the first authentication configured providers. But EM/Console, you see users from all providers.

No, this isn't a bug. But a limitation of bpm/workspace web module specially the application connection module. That's what I think.

The exception is caused by an incompatibility between JDeveloper + SOA update and BAM Server version. Make sure they are at the same version level (for example 11.1.1.3.0).

Beware that BAM requires manual configuration for the default port numbers no. Refer to the documentation for

Oracle® Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite
3.3 manual configuration for Oracle BAM
3.3.1 custom Oracle BAM configuration with the Port number

  • How to use the new features of Oracle BAM?

Hi, I read that JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 introduced counters, intervals and Indcators business from the perspective of the monitor.

But I can't find the way to display this information in Oracle BAM like I do with sensors. Someone can explain to me how to use it or let me know if there is a documentation on this subject?

    Thanks in advance.

In addition, you will need to go into the perspective of monitor in the BPEL view and then you can see all the artifacts - interval, meter, indicator of business and the sensors in this point of view. Select lower down on the top right in view BPEL to change perspective.

In addition, installation under SOA_HOME/bam/samples/bam - BAM, there a folder called monitorexpress. Navigate to the directory "/ bin" and run the configure script to load the datamodel and dashboards.

Configure the BAM adapter in the SOA server to make sure that the Monitor objects will receive data from BPEL

    Hello

The first question as shown below

    <1441096913601>

The destination for the MessageDispatcherBean(Application: oracle-bam#11.1.1, EJBComponent: sdpmessagingclient-ejb.jar) MDB could not be resolved at this time.  Please make sure that the destination is available at JNDI name topic/oracle.bam.messaging.systemobjectnotification.  The EJB container periodically attempt to resolve this MDB destination and additional warnings may be issued. >

has been caused because MDB application oracle bam was not connected to the e-mail system, to verify the same from Weblogic console goto deployments-online oracle-bam (11.1.1)-online

    -Online health monitoring

MessageDispatcherBean (topic/oracle.bam.messaging.systemobjectnotification) will be on alert with good reason as: MDB application oracle bam is not connected to the messaging system.

The problem has been resolved by following the steps below:

targeting the oracle library oracle.sdp.messaging (11.1.1,11.1.1) managed BAM server followed by the underside of the changes in the BAMJmsSystemResource of the JMS Modules

    (1) in BAMJmsSystemResource Modules JMS changed the target of BAMJMSConnectionFactory to BAM Managed Server

    (2) changed the target of BAMJMSServer_auto_1 and BAMJMSServer_auto_2 to BAM Managed Server followed of rebooting the server managed from BAM.

Verify that the status of MDB to oracle-bam-online Monitoring => Helath and showed the form of MDB application connected to the messaging system.

  • Lines left in the table LT after removal of the direct workspace and the removal of all workspaces

I had a lot of data in a table enabled version that has been modified in some workspaces.  The LIVE workspace, I deleted all the rows in the table and I then drove back the workspaces (yes I probably should have done differently).  Once workspaces have been cancelled table LT empty, I would have expected, but it wasn't.

I can reproduce this in the example below.  I insert two lines in the test table and allow it to version.  In a workspace I update a row in the table, which leads to 3 ranks in LT as expected.  Live, I delete the two lines of the table that translates into 5 lines of LT which is fine.  So I restore and delete the workspace I created for the update.  At this point, nothing should versioned LT lines, so I expect to go, but two lines remain.  In my real-world scenario, it is initially questions as the table LT is now much more it must be and requests on the versioned table are slow.

Is this expected behavior?  Can I do anything to clean?

    Thank you

    OK, I see.

Options (depending on the structure of your current workspace if it is not as simple as in the example) are rollback, purgetable or compressworkspace.

More information on when and how to use them can be found in this thread: https://community.oracle.com/message/4027735#4027735

Rollback works in your example, certainly, but might not be applicable in a real scenario.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello

Suitcase BPMN deployment by mistake. java.lang.NullPointerException.

This could be a variety of reasons:

    (1) my problem was solved when I checked the fabricruntime.jar for jdeveloper middleware House \jdeveloper\soa\modules\oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1

and SOA home Oracle_SOA1\soa\modules\oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1 was different. So I copy the fabricruntime.jar of soa on jdev House home and redeploy the composite and it works.

My conclusions at that time was namespace error.

    (2) you can also apply the below patch

Patch 14618452: NPE IS THROWN everything BY DEPLOYING a PROCESS WITH SEVERAL SUB-PROCESS/WRESTLING EVENTS

    and then test the deployment.

    (3) in other words, you can try this:

    Stop, soa_server (s), node_manager(if running), Server Admin

Delete the cache files and for Admin Server and server SOA tmp files in $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/cache and $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp

    Same BOF Soa Server $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/Soa_server/cache

    After that, restart the server

Redeploy the composite applications again since the file via the EM, or JDeveloper .jar or WLST script.

  • Don't start Oracle BAM Server

Do not start Oracle BAM Server.

    Here is the log file.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you!

    The problem has been resolved.

The BAMDataSource JNDI was wrong, the correct JNDI is jdbc, oracle, bam, adc.

    Thank you.

  • Navigate between two applications in the same workspace without sing again

    Hi all

Version 4.1.0.00.32 of apex. Oracle DB version 10.2.0.3.

I have two applications built in the same workspace, if a user can log on to two applications with the same user name and password. I'm looking to put a link on one of the applications to direct the user to the other app. Is there a way to avoid name of user and password to re-enter once the user clicks on the link? I noticed that the session ID is application + user. Not by the workspace + user.

    Thank you
    Sinan

Change the properties of authentication scheme in both applications and set the name of the Cookie to be the same.

As long as the session ID is maintained in the links, you'll be fine.

Each application will allow authentication in your applications, but only after the relevant authentication will trigger.
