Change the port for Oracle BAM(11g)

Hi all

After installation, I noticed 9001 is used by another process every night.
Then I changed it to 29001 in Weblogic and the URL BAM console in Oracle EM to http://eqlpar001.qantas.com.au:29001 too.

Then I rebooted the server. But when I want to create the connection to BAM in the JDev11.1.1.3, I got the following error.

Testing HTTP connection... success.
Purpose of data of navigation... success of the trial.
Test JNDI connection... failed.
Processing of the header or incoming short messages has failed; nested exception is:
java.io.InvalidClassException: oracle.bam.middleware.reportcache.ReportCacheException; incompatible local class: stream classdesc serialVersionUID =-868154888094105170, local class serialVersionUID = 1

2/3 tests successfully.

Anyone can advice me what I should do.

Thank you
Kerr

The exception is caused by an incompatibility between JDeveloper + SOA update and BAM Server version. Make sure they are at the same version level (for example 11.1.1.3.0).

Beware that BAM requires manual configuration for the default port numbers no. Refer to the documentation for

  • How to manually change the ports for HTTP on the server vCenter Server

    Hello Experts,

We have Windows Server 2008 SP2 machine where we v5.1 installed with other SSO components, inventory services, vCenter Server and Update Manager.

So we went from SSO, the inventory services and vCenter Server fine however, vCenter Server has stopped working. While we were to modernize SSO, the service could not start after the upgrade and the recd suite error "Service VMware KDC service could start.". So, we found the article on the VMware site that said port 88 to cause the problem. To find out more by using the netstat command, we found vpxd.exe used port 88. That is why, we stopped this service and proceeded to the upgrade of the SSO. The upgrade is complete following the inventory service and vCenter Server. While we were upgrading vCenter Server, we found that port 88 was used for HTTP communication.

So we wasted on the use of the port. The upgrade has been completed successfully, however, we can not connect to vCenter server using vSphere Client version 5.1 or 5.5. We even tried to start the VMware VirtualCenter server using the services.msc console and it failed.

So we assume the port changes happened during upgrade of the SSO meets the HTTP port by vCenter server usage. We need help on how to manually change the ports for HTTP on the vCenter server.

Suggestions forward. This problem is with the production servers.

    Thank you

This has been resolved... port has been changed manually and works very well.

  • Change the language for Oracle Disqualification

    Hello

I installed Virtual Machine Disqualification of selection of pre-designed programmes.

Windows is in french on my host.

I have installed Firefox in English so the web page is in English.

But when I run the Director, the application is in french.

How can I change the Director asks in English?

    Thanks for your help

    Joffrey

    Excerpt from the online help:

Adjust the locale of the Client

A client computer will display the ISU Disqualification in the local language, according to the display of the machine settings.

To set the language of the customer in order to change the language of the UIS, follow these steps:

    1. Configure the web display options of language of the browser to display web pages from the server of the Disqualification in the chosen language.
    2. Change the regional settings of the client computer to display Java WebStart UIS Disqualification in the language; for example, on machines Windows change the regional settings of the system, the Format and the display language.

    Notes:

    • Following the Java 7 update 25, now the display language must be adjusted in order to change the language in which Java applications are displayed. In previous versions, only the regional system and Format parameters have been used. If you use Windows, only Windows Ultimate and the Windows Enterprise include the Multilingual User Interface Pack to change the language of the installed decoration.
    • For testing purposes, it is possible to substitute the parameters of client using a server option that sets the locale for all customers. To do this, add the following setting to [edq_local_home]/properties/clientstartup.properties: locale = [ISO 639 - 2 Language Code].] For example, to display all the client Java UIS in Japanese regardless of the regional settings of the client, add this line: locale = ja
  • OEM may not happen to the database after changing the port on the database

    Hello OEM gurus!

I had to change the port on a database(11g) from 1521 to 1526. I adjusted the listeners to include the SID (finapp1t) in the listener listening on the port of 1526. I removed the SID of the OEM (10g btw) and rediscovered. He has rediscovered success.

Now, I get the following when I try to enter in the "spaces" or "tables" on the page of database FINAPP1T:

Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505, TNS:listener knows not currently SID given in connect descriptor is used by the client connect descriptor: (description = (address = (host = urora2t.unioncentral.com)(protocol=tcp) (port = 1521)) (connect_data = (sid = finapp1t) (server = dedicated)))

I started then clean the Agent on the server, but I get the same results.

OEM seems to think that this FINAPP1T of the database always uses port 1521. I can connect to the database on port 1526 to my office so I know that the listener see this database.

How can I say OEM update port?

    Thanks for your help!

    Thank you

Yes, you can not transfer the APEX (APEX metadata) instance from a database to a different database. You must install APEX in Oracle Database 12 c.

You can export and import applications of databases to a different database.

See the thread next where it is explained in detail how to transfer APEX application and application data from one database to another:

    I hope this helps!

  • The CPU is not powerful enough for Oracle database 11g?

The CPU is not powerful enough for Oracle database 11g?

I installed the datatase Oracle 11 g on my host by using the default configuration of oracle yesterday. Today, I find some the alert message: "CPU usage is 86,79%, through attention (80) or critical (95) threshold.» The average value of the CPU usage is 80.85% and I have to wait for more than 10 seconds for opening a page of the EM.
My host is HP workstation xw4200. CPU is 3.4 GHz. No other applications on that host.
I want to know: what is the main reason for the shortage of CPU resources? Because the database Oracle 11g itself is exhausting CPU or because there are a few configuration issues?

    qkc wrote:
1 is it true that most of the CPU is exhausted by the EM control tool?

    It's quite possible.

It is also one of the reasons why we encourage people to drop EM Database Console and switch to EM Grid Control. The burden is then on another server.

    2. why this index has been added in advance by Oracle Corporation? It does not seem that each tool is set up perfectly in advance.

It was probably not required under ideal conditions, in which it has been designed and tested.

Why is your environment not identical to the designed conditions that use Oracle? ;-)

  • Manager profile - can I change the Port?

    Dear community,

I have a little problem. A customer uses an OSX Server (to El Capitan. 10.11.2 + Server Version 5.0.15).

The problem is, there is an Exchange Server that uses Port 443, so I can't use this port.

My first test was a Port Forwarding of incoming: 8443 to macserver:443. I can reach the server, but when I log in, then it redirects me to the default 443 ssl port.

I have checked the ssl httpd configuration, took a look in other apache-configs... changed ports 443 to 8443... but without success...

How do you do that? Someone had the same problem?

    Thanks in advance

No you can not change the ports using the Profile Manager. Even if you could change the ports at the end of the Profile Manager server, you have absolutely no chance of being able to change the equivalent settings built into iOS etc devices.

Having two or more public IP addresses different so that the Exchange Server can have its own without conflict with the Profile Manager is an option that most of the larger organizations would use.

It maybe by using a reverse proxy server could also be an option. The reverse proxy server would transmit 443 traffic to any server, it is by looking at the URL, for example exchange.domain.com:443 gets sent to this server and the mdm.domain.com:443 is passed to the other.

NGINX is the main reverse proxy server software.

PS. If it is not possible to overturn or transmit proxies the other ports used for profile, i.e. the NPP ports Manager, it is possible to reverse proxy standard web ports 80 and 443.

  • Web application server - how to change the Port

When installing LabVIEW, OR adds a process called "Application Web Server" (among a long list of other items) at startup.  It became an issue for our Windows users want to run our real application of Web server on their local computer.  My temporary work was about just disable the Web Application Server in the trunk to the port (8080) are available for other items.  My questions are the following:

First of all, what kind of impact I look at developing LabVIEW programs?  This process is necessary if I want to work on the network applications?

Second, it is possible to change the port number of the Web app server to avoid any problems that may exist?

The Web Application Server is used by LabVIEW Web Services - only if you are not using/writing/developing LabVIEW Web Services, then it will not affect you.

To change the port, open the Web-based Configuration utility NOR (normally on something like http://localhost:3582 /) and under "Web Server Configuration", you should see "Application Web Server" and you can select which port should be used.

You can also access it Max by right click on "My System" and selecting "Web Configuration.
