Earlier, I had trouble with a reset of password and search the Forum and found this: Re: password expires and no option to change -thought to try to change the setting of the OIC to solve the problem. Checked the box and now can not know any object - log message is received whenever I select a table object:

You need a client of 11.2 to OIC/thickness. The developers did not put in a readable message, whereas they just throw the exception in your face.
Otherwise, to return, try ORACLE_HOME to your installation sqldev (overall or in a console/batch before you run the sqldev).

Hope that helps,

  • Why can I not find the oracle.dbtools package

    Hello
Im trying to develop an extension for sql developer. To complete my post, I need oracle.dbtools in the application. Everywhere I have look on the internet shows a few people who use it and for some reason any my JDeveloper find not what so ever. Where can I find this or what can I do to solve my problem.

    Thank you
    David

    David,

Have you tried to look inside the following jar file in both

    1. a JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.4 installation:...\jdeveloper\sqldeveloper\lib\oracle.sqldeveloper.utils.jar
    2. a SQL Developer 3.1 installation:...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\lib\oracle.sqldeveloper.utils.jar

    Both contain an oracle\dbtools\raptor\newscriptrunner\CommandRegistry.class

I reference 11.1.1.4 since, as you probably know, the scope of the SQL Developer extension uses is based on this version of JDeveloper.

  • How to connect the value of the input string to numeric values

    Hello

I'm trying to figure out how to connect the value of unique user input string to numeric values. Basically I want the user to enter the name of a gas that I have a list for (I think I put the list of gases in a table >). Then I want to match numeric values 2 'a' and 'b', according to which gas, name of the user has set. These 'a' and 'b' values will be automatically matched with the name of the gas in a list that I put. For example, hydrogen gas has the value 3 for "a" and 4 for "b. when the user puts the ' hydrogen' name in a string constant, automatically 'a' and 'b' must be issued.» I have connect a and b to a formula

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

It is perhaps not exactly what you are looking for, but perhaps you could use the enumerated data type and the array of clusters of points (a, b).

    How can I fix?  I'm a novis.

    Sincerely,

    Nancy

If I were you, I wouldn't bother with Microsoft FixIts.

Why don't ask you a question with an object that describes your problem and give some details about it?  See How to ask a question.
At a minimum, include the following:

    • What version of Windows you have, including the Service Pack (right click on desktop and select properties)
    • the brand and model of your computer and any other involved material (for example, a printer)
    • a description of your problem in as much detail as you can; There is no charge "by the word" to post questions here
    • the full text of the error without paraphrase messages
    • something unusual happened to your system, shortly before the problem started

And insofar as this error "input string was not in the correct format?  This seems to be a common problem that Microsoft keep because it creates new tools 'FixIt '.

There is a support forum for Microsoft FixIt Center in which this right was requested more than 2 years, on September 14, 2010.  The next day, a Microsoft employee answered and said that Microsoft was aware of the problem and that he had set. There are lost then several positions - in the same thread - AUGUST 2011 to September 2012 all reports the same problem... and here, you are as well.

    Hi Torsten,

Thanks for reporting the problem. I logged a bug.

You can view together as "list of system types" directory to "preference > Data Modeler"-probably no longer exists. I guess that the setting for this directory is empty when you start SQL Dev as a different user.

  • What is the purpose of the method org.eclipse.jst.ws.util.JspUtils.markup (String text)

I am checking previous application is implemented for web services where the request and response instance of the classes generated by the objects are .wsdl file.

I go through the code and found this line after obtaining of response objects

     String someVariable=org.eclipse.jst.ws.util.JspUtils.markup(String.valueOf(response.getSomeVariable()));

I tried to find out what is the utility of this method org.eclipse.jst.ws.util.JspUtils.markup(String text) but I couldn't find something clear on the internet.

I found this implementation of the method , but I did not always understand the purpose of this method in the web services .

    I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.7

Of course, the method takes a string and escape those characters that have a special meaning in XML and HTML.

    Example:

    val <= 1.5is converted toval <= 1.5
