Action

------

The logic of export to a file and try to save it again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which version of the database are you using? Colleagues of mine were struggling to save the logic of pl/sql and got strange as errors "CSD-22202 a mistake trying to store text. They used a versiioned repository. After downgrade to basic 11.1.0.7 everything worked again in the repository. So, if you use database 11 g 2 or 12 c compatible change to 11.1.0.7 in your DB.

  • Import all the objects from Oracle Designer to SDDM 4.1.1

    Hello

    I installed SDDM 4.1.1.888 and you import from designer 10.1

    I'm looking to import all the Designer items at a time.

    Steps to follow:

    1 / import from Oracle Designer model

    If I import only the points of view, import works fine. If I import just the Tables, import works fine.

    However, if I import the Tables and views I seem to lose the most sous-vues. If I import views and Tables, the sequence numbers are not transferred and a half subviews are missing. I can't win.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

    If I can import successfully with the old version, shouldn't I be able with the newest one?

    As David said, you have a problem with the key foreign and probably views involved in the definition of the FK. DM 4.0.3 is not supported for FKs views. 4.1 DM has this support and try to import definitions from the repository of the designer.

    So, if you can import with DM 4.0.3 and you are satisfied with the result then import with 4.0.3 and start using DM 4.1.

    Is there a regression? Or can I change something in the designer to avoid this error?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards

    Cédric

    Hi Cedric,

    Thanks for reporting this.  I connected a bug on this issue.

    It seems that this problem occurs whenever a view references another view.

    If the 4.0.3 version works for you, you probably better to stick with that until this problem is resolved.

  • To connect to an Oracle database using oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver: error

    Hello

    I am trying to connect to an Oracle database so that we can extract information on tables, views, and packages.

    Using the Data Modeler (transformation script) API, we will add these notes to the corresponding objects in the Data Modeler.

    I'll start with this:

    importPackage (java.lang);

    importPackage (java.awt);

    importPackage (java.sql);

    java.lang.Class.forName ("oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver");

    An error occurs when I run this code:

    test.png

    It must be something of Java...

    Someone at - it a suggestion?

    Problem solved! A colleague of mine referred to in this post: import def properties from Oracle Designer

    More in detail: it's this couple of lines:

    Copy the file ojdbc6.jar for... Directory of \datamodeler-home\jlib

    Add this line to datamodeler.conf

    AddJavaLibFile... /... /jlib/ojdbc6.jar

    I changed my file datamodeler.conf, DM rebooted and now is no longer an error when I try to use the Oracle JDBC drive.

  • Problem loading Oracle Designer / Developer

    I have a good version of Oracle (OraDb11g_home1 [11.2.0.1.0] - on Windows 7 Enterprise SP 1), plus I have Sql developer, everything works fine. But I was not able to install Oracle Designer or developer.

    During the attempt of Oracle Designer, I got "bad version of the OS", then?

    Oracle Designer error.PNG

    So, I saw in the Readme file that I need to load Oracle Developer, hereby:

    If you do not have an existing version of 10gr 2 Oracle Designer your machine, that you must first install the certified Oracle Developer version Suite 10 gr 2 (10.1.2.0.2) and then go forward to the repository upgrade.

    So I downloadedOracle Developer Suite, and when you try to install I get a similar message...

    With the help of paramFile: E:\app\Disk1 - Developer\install\oraparam.ini Oracle

    Checking Installer requirements...

    Version of operating system for the control: must be 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2.    6.1 real has no < < < <

    Out of Oracle Universal Installer, journal for this session can be found at C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\Temp\OraInstall2014-08-02_08-50-57AM\installActions2014-08-02_08-50-57AM.log

    Please press ENTER to exit...

    I don't understand the error... Please advise.

    Simply edit the oraparam.ini file to add your version of the OS to the list, it's somewhere near the top of the file. What they call 'Windows 7' is actually 6.1.something.

    Of course, you can have compatibility issues far down the line.

    Designated operational entities the above exception occurs when the database is unavailable and weblogic attempts to create the connection to the database using the file descriptors in turn that is causing the files too many error messages.

    Please feel free to correct me.

    Thanmks in advance :)

    It occurs when the database is completely down.
    But it could happen if the database is blocked and you try to create a large number of connections.

    I'm ORA-28547: failed to connect to the server, probable Oracle Net admin error when connecting to the database as username/password@orcl,If, I do not @orcl it connects without any problems. But I can't connect from client machines without dbstring.

    This problem started recently, and I understand that it is because of the dynamic ip of the linux machine. Previously the Linux m/c ip was 172.25.210.177 unfortunately was launched once the machine ip has changed in 172.25.210.148.

    To bring the database up I started as usual and got to the top, but when connecting db with the above error is being username/password@orcl.

    To solve the i changed the ip address in tnsnames.ora and listener.ora but no luck. Please advice how to solve.

    It will run until the next change of the ip address. If you want a permanent solution, you must assign a static ip address. Why is your dynamic ip address? What is a local testbox.foobar.com or a production system that must be accessible to other systems?

  • need model of Oracle Designer data, for database roles

    I use Oracle Designer 10.1.2.6 and must know where to find Descriptions of role for a module.

    Here's my starting point of Designer-repository object Navigator,

    These point here, so in the end, I want to get role responsibilities-> "ACADEMIC_DEPARTMENT" on the right.

    Role description.PNG

    I have looked at these tables, but can't find where to find these data.

    SELECT * FROM sdd_folders app - applications

    SELECT * from sdd_folder_members afm - cross between applications and files

    SELECT * from sdd_folders fol - records

    FYI - the list I found in ci_business_units (role_responsibilities column) was just a list of roles, what I was trying to get the list of roles assigned to a module.

    I found the roles assigned to a module here:

  • MSSQL Server 2000 to Oracle 11 g: error on the Migration repository linking

    Hello! I'm currently migrating a MS SQL Server 2000 database to Oracle 11 g. With the help of:

    SQL Developer Version 4.0.2.15 Build 15.21

    JDK1.7.0_65

    I sysad account in MS SQL Server 2000, but have limited the privilege with Oracle 11 g as we have another group of TI that govern. Reading the documentation of migration said in the tutorial of migration of a database server Microsoft SQL to Oracle Database 11 g, I asked our IT to create the user using the following script:

    CREATING USER MWREP
    IDENTIFIED BY mwrep
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE MWREP_DATA
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP;

    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE, CREATE SESSION, SEE at MWREP;

    Using the user defined MWREP, I tried to create the migration repository using SQL Developer, but it returned an error:

    SQL error on executing the Script

    Try to delete the repository before the creation of repository

    I tried to delete the repository, but he returned a denunciation of the question:

    Removal of the migration repository is completed, however, there was a problem with the deletion.  There may be several reasons for this. (1) the connection is not open.  (2) the repository has been damaged.  (3) there was no repository in this regard.  Db objects have not been deleted. The saved connection has been removed from the migration repository list

    Reading further, I came across these topics: How to remove a directory, How to associate Migration repository when using the tooland https://blogs.oracle.com/OCP10to11/entry/sqldeveloper_try_deleting_repoand learns that it is caused by a limited tablespace. Given that our IT run the following script to change the user MWREP:

    ALTER USER MWREP QUOTA UNLIMITED ON MWREP_DATA;

    But I still encounter the same error than repository migration association. Do I need a sysad privilege to continue with the association? (The generated code will run in by IT after conversion and translation). Do not change the quota of the user on the tablespace not yet enough?

    Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    Dear all,

    My11gR2 database on windows 2008 R2 Standard is in error "ORA-28547: connection to the server failed, probable Oracle Net admin error.

    It's when I try to log on to the server itself

    as:

    SQL * more: Production of release 11.2.0.1.0 kills him Oct 8 05:43:03 2013

    Copyright (c) 1982, 2010, Oracle.  All rights reserved.

    Enter the user name: sys/***@orcl as sysdba

    "ORA-28547: failed to connect to the server, likely admin error Oracle Net.

    This started happening when the server has been restarted. I don't know if I have to stop any service, as in some cases under Linux should be stopped service iptables.

    The solution I found on most of the forums is to change in sqlnet.ora since '#SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS) 'to' #SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NONE)"and restart the receiver.

    But even if it doesn't in my case.

    Kindly help.

    Best regards, Imran

    Guys, there are 2 databases installed on the same server, to correctly configure the SID. Once set, I could see that the database is down and when starting it started working well.

    Thanks for your efforts.

  • Oracle Designer Import - lack of application systems

    Hello

    I am trying to import an Oracle Designer data model in SQL Developer Data Model 3.0, I downloaded today. I think I have my connection to the repository Designer set up OK and I can choose activities unversioned. When I click on any of my application systems will be shown. The release of Oracle Designer is 9.0.4.6.19 and the DBMS is version 10.2.0.4. Any suggestions as to what I'm missing, greatly appreciated.

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

    We have released ai2. You can try import again. I hope that it will help now.

    Thank you
