Oracle Financials

Hello

I want to download oracle financials in order to learn it. Also I'm not interested in the use of web services.
Is it possible to just install the modules of financial data or you need to install the entire suite E-Business?
And could it works in a way that is not based on the web?

Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for your answer.
Thus, it is not possible to install oracle financials as a standalone application?

No, you are going to install all modules and you can choose to use financial modules.

My OS is Linux (32 bit), I have to download the packages from: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 Documentation Library (B53825-01) to: Oracle® Warehouse Builder 10g (10.1.0.4.0) for Linux x 86 (B24995-01) as well?

You need to download the following:

From: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 quick install start here (part 1 of 4)
To: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 for Linux x 86 quick install APPL_TOP - disc 2 (part 3 of 3)

    Hello Experts!

    May I ask for your valuable suggestions and comments to this...

    Are there external programs where we can get into our operations and bills and then be able to import these through the interface Oracle Financials?

    Thank you and I hope for your quick response.

    Best regards

    the tables of the interface and then by running APXIIMPT (Payables open interface import) are the traditional approach.

    I'm not aware of your invoice volumes.

    If the daily volume is low, if it is going to be the user of your company to record invoice AP of the external system for Oracle, you can opt for the type WebADI as More4Apps tools. A simple option will download the data ina excel format and M4a can validate & import invoices into oracle with a single click.

    If you want an automated way, you can even try as an ETL to load the interfaces and plan Payables import / invoice Auto import 2 - 3 times a day.

    Hi Nathaniel

    Just sent the email right now in an Excel worksheet. Actually I don't know exactly what is the difference (if any) between the RX and Ixr reports. For all I know, Ixr are newer then the RX (when Oracle launched the 9i database). But I'm not 100% sure of it.

    I hope this helps.

    The responsibility of the system administrator, query the report in the definitions of concurrent programs and check the enable Trace. Run the program. A trace file will be put on your $ORACLE_HOME/admin/udump directory. TKProf this trace file and open the generated output.

  • Oracle Financials 11i AP tables Vs R12

    Hello

    I have a package that works in Oracle Applications 11i instance. This package is the use of tables of 11i in his sliders. We are moving this package to r12 and therefore this package should work in r12 using tables of r12. I heard that many of the paintings have been modified by 11i to r12 in oracle financials. Here's the code.
    Some of the paintings of the PA used to 11i were AP_BANK_ACCOUNTS_ALL, AP_BANK_BRANCHES, AP_CHECKS_ALL,

    AP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL,

    fnd_lookup_values_vl. I need to know their counterparts R12 or arrays of R12 which should be inserted here.

    Hello Srini,

    Thank your for the answer. Appreciate it.
    I took a peek in the zip file of this blog of Steven Chen, but I guess that doesn't really help me for the moment, I guess. He said changes have been made, but which must be replaced with the tables that has not been mentioned.

    I took a glance at the "Bank Setups in R12 Question [434195.1 ID]" document and it gave me this information below. Is it true if I replace the tables on the left with the tables on the right.

    AP_BANK_ACCOUNTS_ALL--> CE_BANK_ACCOUNTS
    AP_BANK_ACCOUNTS_USES_ALL--> CE_BANK_ACCT_USES_ALL
    AP_BANK_BRANCHES--> CE_BANK_BRANCHES_V

    AP_CHECKS_ALL -?
    AP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL -?

  • Can we have Oracle HRMS pays in Fusion and Core HR in R12?

    Hello

    Currently we use R12.1.3 Oracle HRMS Oracle and Oracle Financials. We intend to implement Oracle compensation and payroll Modules in the near future. We are in dilemma whether to go with Oracle fusion or not for these specific modules.

    We know that coexistence HCM allows us to integrate existing Applications of HR Oracle Oracle Fusion hosted implementation of Compensation. But we are not sure about the payroll module. We need your valuable advise to proceed with the implementation of the payroll module.

    1. is it possible/certified have module payroll and comp on the merger and remaining quite in R12?

    2. or is this good to implement payroll in R12 for now and move it to the merger in the last period of time?

    Please let us know your valuable contributions. Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Lacombe

    I got the answer to oracle for the above question.

    He seems outgoing interfaces only support Oracle Fusion payroll. They do not have incoming payroll interface capabilities or mass pay feedback. We would need configure the HCM Fusion as well as all prior work structures, define the license appropriate to payroll, configure the extension of country payroll merger and the merger of Coexistence for HCM implementation maintain data between EBS and Fusion.

    This means Oracle Fusion payroll support only when the basic HR in fusion configuration. It answers my question.

    Thank you
