Hi allI faced a problem in my project which is to avoid me to go further in one of my modules in my project.
I use Jdeveloper * 11.1.1.6.0 *. The problem is that:
I have a draft list (* common for the applicatopn *) to hold the records that will be used for other projects to display the value of the pericular attribute in a drop-down list. My draft list, named as * ' ManageList * ' is having a view object listValuesVO. On this VO, there is a point of view criteria is that contains a variable binding "* listValueIDBV *" which will give the value of the where clause as = listValueId: listValueIDBV. The listValueId is one of the attributes of the table for the listValuesVO. This table is to have an attribute named listValueName that contains the names of list to display in the LOV to some other attribute.
Now, I'm having a project more named "* ManageIsometrics *" in the same workspace. Here a VO is here which is to have an attribute named "* drawingId." This attribute must be a LOV which is supposed to get the values of the ManageList project. So to get my things I cooked up ADFLibraryJAR for the ManageList project. This pot has added to my project ManageIsometrics library by using the file system connection.
Now, I created a view named accessor "* drawingNamesVA *" according to the listValuesVO and then I edited this accessor to assign the value to the variable named liaison "* listValueIDBV *" which will get the value of a certain expression. Now, I've added the LOV for drawingId by selecting the Data Source of the list as "* drawingNamesVA *" list attribute as an attribute of listValueId and the display in the form listValueName. Now when I execute the application get exception below:

If am to test the application by running by right-clicking on the request form, the list of values properly come the respective attribute. I thought that maybe the pots are not using correctly. So I removed the JAR and added the jars agin and deployed projects once agin. Again, I am facing the same problem. It comes as missingstring errorin the browser.
Please guide me to find out the solution. Thank you a lot of gentlemen for your precious time.

The view definition is mentioned in the DataBindings.cpx file? In the DataBindings.cpx page definition files may need to be changed. Please post the DataBindings.cpx.

Caused by: oracle.mds.core.MetadataNotFoundException: MDS-00013: no metadata not found for the metadata object ' / oracle/webcenter/search/model/DataControls.dcx '.
I checked similar errors in the forums and tried the solutions proposed, but without success. I do not understand why the application searches the file DataControls.dcx inside a standard WC research library.
Any help would be appreciated.

Finally, I found the problem, it is reported in the Support of Oracle as Doc ID 1503173.1.
It seems jDeveloper is a bit special when adding directories for the file of Mar. If the entire directory "/ oracle ' is added, the adf - config.xml introduced the following line:
namespace metadata-store-use = "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" path = "" / oracle "/"
Therefore, it turns away all requests to/oracle /... file and class of MDS, which causes failures.
Thus, when the change of the deployment MAR profile be sure to select the subdirectories under/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/one by one.
Added to that, I had to perform the cleaning process that you suggested to operate too, otherwise I get a different error...
Final steps are:
1 cancel the application deployment.
2 delete the partition MDS.
3 stop managed server.
4 delete the content/cache and / TMP to the server managed.
5. start the managed server.
6 Exectute Clean all in jDeveloper.
7. create a new deployment of mar as described in 1503173.1 SR.
8. EAR file deployment.
9 deploying the new application with the server managed using Enterprise Manager.And it works!

I had a problem where I get the following exception:
oracle.jbo.NoDefException: Houston-25058: groupLabel of definition of the attribute type is not found in ViewDefgroups3_254.
Here is the description:
With the help of:
12.1.3 JDev (Build JDEVADF_12.1.3.0.0_GENERIC_140521.1008.S).

In my application I have XSD which was used to generate the content model (next classes of java: Project.java (as the main class of the model), GroupsType.java, ThemeType.java).
Data control was created on this model (POJO data control).
When I was creating a data control I also create wrapper class (for additional functions) - ProjectWrapper.
Created data control has the following structure:
ProjectWrapper:
attributes of the project
groups (collection):
group attributes of
themes (collection):
attributes of theme
After I did drag GROUPS onto the page and create trees that have the following structure (lets call it groupsTree):

My ADF application (version 11.1.1.6.0) works well.
When I tried the same on 11.1.1.7.0, the application throws the exception "oracle.jbo.NoDefException: Houston-35011: attribute: not found for binding the value of x: y".
I found a discussion
I did clear all / do everything, but did not work. The error occurred on a regular basis.
Anyone know about this? no idea on how to solve this problem.

Close Jdev and delete folder Clara of projects as well as model view controller.
Then start Jdev and try again.

Hello worldI developed a page OFA and ran in Jdeveloper, it works fine.

Looks like the attribute is missing, can you check if the attribute named "lastpaiddt" exists under LoanUpdateVO1?
Right-click on LoanUpdateVO1 - > properties - > list of attributes - > and check if the missing attribute exists

I run a page with a workflow bounded with three activities as a region
a link on the first view activity going on some columns of the row as parameters to a method call activity. activity is the method call called another view activity that VO is filtered in the activities of method call
When I run page first. by clicking on the link in the first activity of the view for the first time, I get this error message:

Please check that the type of the CreatedBy attribute is a number representing the id in FND_USER and not the actual text of the name of the user. Standard Oracle columns that use a number for this value not varchar.
