oracle.mds.core.MetadataNotFoundException when the EAR deployment in local WLS

Hi all

I tried searching the forum and read this: How to get rid of MDS , I checked the path in the field: C:\JDev11g_Home\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\DefaultDomain, no space in the path. I searched this file, he complained of "adf - config.xml", could not find this file in my application at all. (My application is migrated from 10g to 11g using the Trinity.) I use JDEV 11.1.14.0 and WLS 10.

Also, I tried these 2 scenarios during the creation of the EAR file: include / exclude these 2 jars: mdsrt.jar & oramds.jar, (although I don't think this is the cause because he did not complain ClassNotFoundException.) same mistake of deployment.

Here's the output console during deployment of the EAR:

Help, please!

Thank you.

the adf file has the ear file... If you deploy by using the jdeveloper, he will understand the adf file... If you do with the ant script control if the ant script is written to include this file also in the ear file.

    You must install the latest patch bundle for WebCenter portal.

    I believe that this error is a bug caused by certain features that are available in the portal Builder, but not in a framework application.

    Basically, WebCenter is throwing items of metadata to specific models of devices. In the portal Builder, you can create different templates depending on the device, but this feature is not available in the framework where the error.

    Just install the latest patch bundle and your problem should be solved.

    Also... Note that Oracle recommendation is to use the portal generator and not to develop any new application with the framework.

    MDSConnection

    -Project1

    -xsd

    Loading...

    Can you please tell me if any class file or JAR is missing?

    Thanks in advance!

    This problem is due to file incorrect mdsrt.jar. It is located at jdevloper/oracle_common/modules/oracle.mds_11.x.x.

    This file must be oracle.mds.net.ORAMDSURLInfoProvider.class. If this is not available, then get a file mdsrt.jar with this class. replace and restart the Jdev. This issue will go away.

    However, the main reason behind this is incorrect laying of jDev. You may encounter the following errors.

    other people here have already said that they, too, can no longer test locally since the new SDK.

    I suggest replace the QNX TextInput with a Flash / MX / component Spark TextInput for local testing, then just throw in when you want to test on the Simulator.

  • How oracle (10.1) decides when the week begins, ends?

    Hello friends,

    I'm bundling a week in my query.

    The oracle instance is running on my computer: Red Hat Linux 5, the locale for starting oracle is provided below.

    From my point of view, my week started on 31/01/2010 (Sunday) and ends at 2010-06-02 (Saturday).
    Yet my oracle thinks differently: as can be seen in the example below, the 5th week begins on 29/01/2010 and ends on 02/05/2009.

    Why is this behavior?
    How can I control it, and how do I adjust for i18n?

    Thank you

    Beginning of the week is decided by NLS parameter's settings nls who decide NLS_TERRITORY.

    If you want your week should begin with Sunday not to use "WW" (according to NLS_TERRITORY), instead use 'IW', it doesn't depend of parameter nls.

  • iTunes says files in iCloud when the library is stored locally

    I am a subscriber of Apple's music. Just upgraded to the latest iTune 12.4.1.6 on my PC Windows 10. This PC stores all my music files taken from the original CD. Just noticed that all my music now has icon cloud beside him and I get the option to download. Before clicking play a music file information would show the way to the file on my PC. He said now iCloud status: Apple music and location: iCloud.

    That's happened? Why iTunes is no longer using the local files and try to play my music to iCloud?

    Is this the 'normal' behavior now?

    What happens if I unsubscribe from Apple's music in the future?

    The original files are still in the directory Musique\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music.

    show preferences iTunes library is in the same place, maintaining organized files and the files are copied to the media folder when adding to library.

    Hello I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 with Fusion Web ADF.

    ERROR: No j2ee modules found in the Archives of the EAR. Abandoned deployment. is (oracle.jdeveloper.deploy.VetoableDeployException)

    Someone has an idea?

    I tried deploying a WAR file but in the weblogic console, it gives me an error like jstl not found... so I'm thinking I'm missing something. I know I have succsesfully it is deployed in an older version of Jdev as an EAR (this request).

    Any ideas?

    You can check with this:

    in the ear deployment profile properties
    Choose the second tab on the left: application assembly: on the right, under project (ViewController.jpr) select the ViewController

  • generate the ear file in jdev and deployed using Ant

    I have a request of the ADF and I need generate the ear file and deploy it using ant script.
    The file option ear in deployment profiles (file-> new-> deployment profiles) is disabled in my worm jdev (11.1.1.5.0).

    Any help or pointers are highly appreciated.

    Thank you

    You get the EAR deployment descriptor only if you add it to the application level. They are out on grayes model ot see controller projects.
    Right-click on the Application and select "new-> deployment descriptor.

  • MDS-00035: cannot load the class MYCC.

    Hello

    I created a class of customization, it extended oracle.mds.cust.CustomizationClass, added the adf - config.Xml.

    Tried to add a path in CLASSPATH and JDEV_CLASSPATH env vars 'tools-> manage-> libraries libraries' and 'tools-> manage libraries-> Java SE definitions', not helped - when I run JDev in Cust. role that I always get MDS-00035: cannot load the class MYCC.

    It should be noted, that when I run the JDev in the default role and enter a myC of the source file and press Alt + entry, I don't see that in the popup of the Import Assistant MYCC class there. In the project properties window, to which belongs the source, libraries and Classpath file is empty.

        public Set<Class<?>> getClasses() {
            HashSet<Class<?>> classes = new HashSet<>();
            classes.add(MyResource.class);
            return classes;
        }
    }

    MyResource.java

    package company.rest;

    @Path("/foo")
    public class MyResource {
        @Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
        @Path("/")
        public String list() {
    return "[1,2,3]";
    }
    }

    I have a weblogic.xml:

    <weblogic-web-app xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-web-app">
      <context-root>my/api/1/rest</context-root>
    </weblogic-web-app>

    Then application.xml for ear is empty.

    (Incidentally, I don't understand why the weblogic.xml is necessary. I tried to put the path of the context everything in the @ApplicationPath of the MyApplication but who was honored not...)

    When I deploy, I see in weblogic is that war MyApplication is deployed as a type of Web Application of 'Module' under the EAR. There is however no listed Web service. Also, if I click on the war MyApplication then look under surveillance, both tabs Web Applications and applications of JAX - RS show no entry.

    What I am doing wrong?

    In the greatest demand, I started to disable some wars / RPG are included in the ear and then he started to work identical to the minimal example. Somewhere, there is a conflict with the libraries in the ear / various wars, but I do not get any type of output in the paper, etc. It is not simply recognize the war as file containing resources of JAX - RS.

  • [ADF Essentials, JDev12.1.3, MS SQL Server] About to restore backup/restore error when the application is deployed on GlassFish. How...?

    Hallo,

    follow the suggestions of Timo Hahn and kdario , I created a panelTabbed with main tables form & details according to this thread Re: [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Master af:form w/read only af:tables detail: how to handle insert and edit through forms?

    The modification/insertion for readonly tables is managed using a form of popup.

    Before displaying the form, I create a backup that I restore it if the user click Cancel on the shortcut menu.

    Everything works well on the integrated WebLogic Server, but now that I have deployed the application on GlassFish Server I noticed an odd error.

    The < <the connection to the server has failed (status = 500)> > error when I click the button cancel from the context menu (Cancel involves restoring the backup) and the empty line added before opening the context menu and create the backup point is left blank in the table.

    In the server log, I read this error:

    Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: call Impossible a commit operation when the AutoCommit is set to 'true '.

    at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException.makeFromDriverError(SQLServerException.java:190)

    The check points are not compatible with GlassFish/ADF Essentials or it is - AS I HOPE -some adjustments to make with regard to transactions in GlassFish?

    Until now I deplyed on GlassFish than an application of readonly.

    I see now that the problem also occurs when the call of the AOS restore operation is should not be due to the use of the backup point.

    It is the configuration of the Connection Pool in GlassFish (sorry it's in Italian)...

    Thank you

    Hello Dario,

    the solution to the problem really seems to check 'non transactional connections' (with nothing to do in the code of the application) in the GlassFish connection pool configuration.

    I did a lot of tests: commit, rollback and save points works like movement.

    See you later for another thrilling adventure!

    Thank you

  • deployment of a BPM Application large Oracle with several projects of the user interface

    Hello world
    I'm working on a large application with Oracle BPM 11.1.1.5.0.

    I use JDeveoper 11.1.1.5.0 to build the application.
    The application has many tasks user with a lot of the UI (one for each task of the user).

    My problem is, whenever I make a small change in the project, I need to deploy this, which includes a master project and five or six projects UI (for now) for tasks of the user.
    As demand grows, I'm sure that this will certainly become a problem.

    So my question is if I do this the good sense? or should there be a more effective way?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Luke
    1. as a general rule, there is NO need to have a user interface project for an individual task. As initiator, approver, reviewer, LegalApprover etc etc, you have like 10 tasks (.task files). You can have just a single project of TaskForms UI and have taskDetails.jspx generated for each of these tasks. This is appropriately.

    2. any Application workflow must have only 2 deployers. Deploy resources are for real Workflow stuff that will have the main BPEL or process, BPM, human tasks etc. Basically, everything that goes into the workflow project. And another official of the deployment is that the REST of things means that the UI TaskForms project and other project support as useful projects, WebServices, EJB projects (if you have Web services). All this will be deployed as a SINGLE EAR.

    Lets take an example JDeveloper IDE point of view.
    1. application Name: SalesOrderApp
    2 workflow project name: SalesProcess (he is a a project jdeveloper project SOA or BPM Project type and has all human tasks, bpels, process bpm, rules etc.).
    3 interface user Project: SalesTaskForms (it is a form generated automatically for the first task you choose. Then for the rest of the tasks you can use this same project, to generate jspx for all others. WORK files. VIEW documents online on how to do it. I'll see if I can compile this list of URLS for you).
    3. support the EJB projects: MyEJBProject1 (some EJB project that connects to some specific to your back-end database project)
    4. support another Service EJB project: MyExtServiceProject1 (as another project EJB that uses data from an external source)
    5. some WebService project: SalesCreditCardValidationWebService (some WebService project to be deployed as. WAR file that performs a service).

    Try to apply the Concepts of SOA for each Service your application needs. Instead of putting all the EJBs and everying in one giant project, try to split their need logically commercial/sage and geenrate separate projects so that they can maintain as it is to other projects and other applications.

    Anyway, coming back, in the example above, you should have deployment just 2: 1 is the JAR file of SCA in the Workflow and another complete of the EAR file.
    (a) for the workflow project, right-click and generate a deployment profile to deploy all the workflow and NOT on the other projects of the user interface.
    (b) for each project individual genereate a profile of deployment such as MyEJBProj1, MyEJBProj2, MyWebService1, etc etc.
    (c) for TaskForms project, generate a deployment as SalesTaskForms profile. It is a WAR file.
    (d) at the level of the Application, create a new profile of deployment of the EAR type and now assemble all the projects in this EAR, with the exception of the Workflow project.

    First of all, you deploy file JAR of SCA of the Workflow. You need to redeploy this again only when you make changes to the workflow, humantasks etc etc.
    Deploy the full blown EAR file that has all the stuff (EJB JARs, TaskForm WARs, WebService wars etc.).

    At any time, you change your code taskforms or redeploy a java, ejb, EAR file.

    You should have a POT and an EAR to deploy at the end of the day. Infact this is how it should go into UAT, and production. They may not have many pots, multiple wars deployed. The reason why we have separated Workflow SCA Jar file is, because the workflow will not change frequently. And also older versions of SOA/BPM (before 11.5 FP) have a huge disadvantage. Whenever we deploy a workflow project, it will make existing processes VITIATED, unless you deploy a different version. This isn't a problem anymore for 11.5 + FP (Feature Pack applied). Therefore, be careful when you redeploy workflow project.

    Thank you
