• Where to find and download the presentation of the Oracle Open World 2011

  We presented in OOW2011 and all presentations were previously available through content catalog. However, I just noticed that the URL of this catalogue of content is no longer valid and campaign OOW2012 is all over the internet.

  in fact you attended parts of this training to the Portugal earlier this year. We then deployed EMEA (Munich, Lisbon, Warsaw) and now the North American (inviting partners at these events - Munich was followed by 43 people, who for the most part where the partners).

  The training is developed by MP for everyone but we cannot deliver it in person as often as we need. Some Oracle employees attended a training of trainers event and will be re - run locally (PTS as far as I know think of doing a session - don't know where in the EMEA region)

  Chris and I, as well as others in the team currently save sessions (although brief because we do not have the chance to discuss topics on YouTube as we can in the classroom) to make the content available to the public. We hope to add value by the recording sessions and look for free content as quickly as possible. We started with the release 1 video per week, but as soon as our recording buffer fills up, will have of switching devices.

• APEX - opening World document (and other files) stored in a blob column?

  I have an application developed in Oracle Apex 3.2.1 and RDBMS Oracle 9.2.0.8 (SUN SOLARIS SPARC 64-BIT).
  
  I have a table called BAC_ARQUIVO, with the following structure:
  
  CREATE TABLE BAC_ARQUIVO
  (NAME VARCHAR2 (4000), / * name of the file stored in a BLOB column * /)
  TOPIC VARCHAR2 (4000), / * a brief presentation of this file stored * /.
  Identification NUMBER, / * an identification of this file - it s a PK of this table column * /.
  BLOB BLOB_CONTENT, / * Blob field to store different types of files - XLS, DOC, PPT, PDF, EXE, ZIP, etc.) ;
  Mime_type VARCHAR2 (4000) / * Identification whose file type is stored in BLOB field * /.

  The field BLOB_CONTENT in this table can store:
  
  -Executable files;
  -MS-world Documents (DOC);
  -Zip Files (ZIP).
  -Ms-Excel (XLS) files;
  -Ms-Powerpoint files (PPT);
  -Adobe (PDF) documents.
  
  In fact, in this application, APEX, I developed an interactive report in which the user can download these files to the desktop without problem.
  
  But now, my user I would like to know if it s possible ask APEX can OPEN some of these files stored on this download of WITHOUT BLOB column.
  
  My user would like to see a hiperlink (or button) that, if you press on/accessed, can open a new page (or page within the application) with the document. Doesn´t need to edit this file oppened. He wants only to see.
  
  For example, if the file stored in the blob column is type ms word, so the application opens an MS-WINDOWS application with these files.
  
  Is this possible?
  
  In this forum, I saw this it possible s to open a file stored on the directory "/ i /", but I need to open the file stored in the BLOB column. I Don t want to store the file in the operating system of the server.

• What factors can cause a Proj file open dirty (LV 2009)?

  I have a project that was previously developed in LV 8.5.

  LV 2009 opening, it opens dirty (asterisk indicating that something has changed).

  Save all this project clears the asterisk.

  Close and reopen the project opens again dirty.

  Closing without saving gives the message 'Save Changes' and

  The list of the changes not saved... shows the project itself, that's what wants to be saved and said that "changes" "attribute of the project has been modified."

  Then...

  What could I do wrong that is causing the proj open dirty?

  A source distribution was made for a VI using LabView 2009 32 bit. The distribution has been verified to work on another machine which ran 32-bit LabView 2009. However, when opened on a 64-bit LabView 2009, the VI was broken as indicated by the error message attached. How can I make the executable VI?

  The VI used the noise and vibrations and HSDL screw that I suspect don't are not supported in 64-bit.

• cannot open excel file 2009

  Hello

  Recently, I upgraded my machine to LabVIEW 2009.  I had already created a file of sequence that were running on LabVIEW 8.5.

  However when I run on LabVIEW 2009, it fails to open an excel template that I use to store the results.  In fact I can't open an excel worksheet by using the standard vi.

  What seems to be the case, is that once the progresses of VI to the Subvi Excel_Open_Workbook.vi error occurs.  The error occurs after the node to invoke, see image attached and appears as follows

  Error-2147352573 to the Member not found.
  in NI_ReportGenerationToolkit.lvlib:Excel_Open_Workbook.vi-> NI_Excel.lvclass:new report subVI.vi-> NI_report.lvclass:New Report.vi-> demo.vi

  This error code is not set. No one has provided a description for this code, or you could have wired a number which is not an admission of error code error code.

  Anyone know how I can fix this error? Is it possible to reinstall maybe the generation VI excel? Is this a known issue with labVIEW 2009?

  What version of the report generation tool do you use?  The latest version (1.1.4) requires the use of Microsoft Office 2007/2003/XP according to the Readme.  This seems to be one of the limitations associated with the earlier version of Excel. You have a Toolkit of Gen report incompatible with the version of Mircosoft office you use. Make sure that the version you have is compatible with Excel.

  After installing the system of development of LV on your computer, the problem could be that some methods of ActiveX have been disconnected. If you re - point nodes to call the appropriate ActiveX methods, this should solve your problem.

  I have a problem when you try to save functional forms/EBS test with OpenScript in 12.2.0.1 and also 12.1.0.2 version.

  The problem has been verified in two environments:

  1. Windows XP 32-bit, Internet Explorer 7, 1.6.0_45 JRE.

  2. Windows 7 32 bit, Internet Explorer 8, 1.6.0_45 JRE.

  I think that I already tried all possible combinations with options and preferences of OpenScript.

  I also reinstalled several times to JRE.

  What is interesting is that everything works fine when I use the 1.6.0_38 JRE. However, all versions up to it give me the above exception.

  Could you please give me some advice what I can do or check? Maybe you can provide me with some information about the things that have changed in JRE 1.6 update 38 which can affect the load java applets by OpenScript?

  Everything I could find in the release notes was that some security problems have been repaired.

  Because of security changes introduced in JRE, use NO build longer than 38 for JRE 6 (1.6.0_38) and does not exceed the 11 for JRE (1.7.0_11) 7.

  To me, this seems like it was a good choice for the development of the APEX.

  Just to clarify any passage of Informatica in ODI you will have to do it yourself, like a reimplementation

  Your informatica workflow to create new package ODI (eventually plan to charge).
  Use your mappings informatica to create new ODI interface (don't forget that ODI can load only 1 target by interface table)

• Can I open way APEX Lightbox page?

  I don't know how many of you have had at Oracle Open World this year. Calendar generator looked rather nice this time. What I liked especially, is that when I clicked on a title of session in the session list then the detailed information and certain actions such as "Add to my calendar" appeared in an overlay mode. It looked like when I display images with jQuery Lightbox.
  
  Is this possible in APEX 4.0 with a page of the APEX?
