Oracle Virtual Directory - store Local adapter creation

Hi all

I had an Oracle virtual directory server integrated with three different Active Directory server.

Active Directory1: UO = group1, dc = company, dc = com
Active Directory2: UO = Group2, dc = company, dc = com
Active Directory3: UO = GROUP3, dc = company, dc = com

I had created three different LDAP adapter for three Active Directory servers.

LDAP Adapter_AD1: OU = group1, dc = company, dc = com
LDAP Adapter_AD2: OU = Group2, dc = company, dc = com
LDAP Adapter_AD3: OU = GROUP3, dc = company, dc = com

Now, I had created an adapter to store Local to all three cards. When you create, that's fine. Throwed is no exception. But when I see the data of the browser window, I was not able to browse and verify the data.

Same Oracle Access Manager is not able to bind with the user credentials.

Very urgent solution. Help, please

Thanks in advance,
Sandeep D

You must manually add this node in OVD using an ldap client.
Do the following-
-Bind for OVD using an ldap client
-Open "dc = company, dc = com", which will give you "no object".
-Add "dc = company, dc = com" with appropriate attributes and dcObject objectclass
Now you should be able to draw on "dc = company, dc = com" ldap searches

It will be useful,
Sam

  • Oracle Virtual Directory for SSL configuration

    Hello experts, can you please help me understand whether a typing error in Oracle Enterprise Deployment guide for IDM http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25054_01/fusionapps.1111/e21032/toc.htm#BEGIN, port of the OID is mentioned in Oracle Virtual Directory for SSL configuration - section 9.4.2.2. Why port ODI?

    The guide mentioned how to configure OID for SSL in section 7.4.3.2 and here he mentioned port 389 OID! For example, during Setup for OVD, is not that we are supposed to talk about port OVD. Please help me clarify this confusion. BTW, in many places, the guide says clearly, if you have OVD, you mention port OVD here...

    Thank you

    Specify the port OVD. I think that by default it's 6502.

    He talks abt 10.1.4.0.x, but there is no mention of 10.1.4.3

    Hello

    Few things to check.

    What is the JDK/JRE Version.
    What is the version of WLS?
    From the error lines, I can see THAT RCU Version is 11.1.1.3.

    If the WLS version is 10.3.3, so it is not supported with IDM 11.1.1.2.

    Suggestions: update IDM to 11.1.1.3 and configure it. Here are the steps.

    -Cancel the Configuration Wizard, delete the directories of domain Instance ACE and WebLogic OR if it's on the virtual machine, you can return to the previous snapshot.
    -Update IDM in 11.1.1.3
    -Execute config.cmd or confg.sh

    Let me know the result.

    Thank you

  • virtual directory mapping

    I posted this here and not yet in the forum of weblogic.

    Use the current version of jdeveloper, adf.

    I read the posts on the forum of weblogic and followed the solution, but I get a 404 not found error.

    I want to deploy all the PDFs in the directory c:/Pdf.

    I use golink with destination http://localhost:7001 / bissell.pdf

    If I deploy in default location of the document, it works well.

    When I deploy in c:/Pdf I get a 404 error.

    The reason why I posted this here is, I don't know if ADF creates problems, I do not think that Yes, but...

    If there is no step that I missed, please let me know.

    I want to save the virtual machines on a host ESX autonomous. and all of these virtual machines is the local data store.  What is the best way to save these virtual machines in this situation?

    And probably we don't provision VTL on the local data center, so it is possible to use VCB to backup? And VCB is a good choice compared to the traditional method that installs the backup client in each virtual machine?   Because I think that in this situation with the data store local, it cannot not reduced the load on ESX hosts and network overhead can be avoided.

    Thank you!

    > 1. VCB usable remote tape library? I mean it's not local library and uses the tape library to another network data center.

    VCB is completely unrelated to the tape library, it is a framework, not a backup solution. If your standard backup software can work with the remote tape library you can try it to ungrateful with VCB.

    > 2. what the difference bwteen hot - added NBD and modes if there is that an ESX host with store data local and want to use a virtual machine like VCB proxy? I think that they are the same: the VCB proxy read data through the I/O of the ESX host stack in this situation.

    NBD works on network and the backup traffic goes through the service console connection. Hot add uses special machine for assistance to connect vmdk to and uses of e/s disk stack instead of e/s network.

    No, it isn't.

    I did find a lot of information to solve this problem.

    Help, please!

    Best regards

    Well, I must fix it in next (trying to start Apache (adapcctl.sh) casts a ' error while loading Shared Libraries: libdb.so.2' on RedHat Linux 5 (Doc ID 879522.1)).

    Once you run the commands in the MOS Doc, stop and start the services than those mentioned above and it should seem so

    Thank you

  • Beginning Oracle Internet Directory failure... server context is null

    I try to install Oracle Internet Directory on RHEL5 64 bit for the first time.

    The database (11.2.0.3), Weblogic (10.3.6) and OID (11.1.1.6) have everything installed OK, and I run the config.sh script.

    I said 'Create the schema' and enter SYS credentials. The installation is fine, but fails to "Start Oracle Internet Directory" at the stage of the component to configure.

    I see in the oraInventory/log/install-xxxxx.log

    Is anyone able to point me in the right direction as to the cause of this?

    I notice that Metalink ID: "FMW 11g Oracle Internet Directory Configuration process Fail: Error Creating Ascomponent Oid1 [1289015.1 ID]" refers to IPV6. " I only have IPV4 enabled. For OID is mandatory IPV6?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    I recommend you to run RCU (11.1.1.6) and to create the schema and configure.

    Kind regards
    Raghav.

  • Get the data from a virtual computer store

    I'm looking to get the data from a virtual computer store, but format to be used with vmrun.  My current vmrun statement is:

    vmrun t CR h < IPAddress > https://: 443/SDK u & lt; username & gt; Pei & lt; password & gt; runProgramInGuest "[& lt;. datastorename & gt;] & lt; datastorefolder & gt; / & lt; virtualmachinename & gt;. VMX' c:\myscript.bat

    The idea is to replace & lt; datastorename & gt; given with the name of the LUN that is running on a virtual machine.  In this case, I'm running my statement vmrun from inside a script PowerCLI.  I can use a variables powerCLI, if the vmrun instruction can take and use all escape sequences are needed to adapt the format vmrun to this argument.

    That is right.

  • Virtual Directory Web.show_document

    Hello

    I want to show a document (pdf) that is located on the application server.
    I know that I can use web.show_document, but the question is where I set virtual directory 11.1.2 forms.
    I installed WebLogic, is there anywhere on weblogic where I can open a file in the GUI and set?

    Secondly, what should I put in the file to set my virtual directory.

    I looked on support.oracle.com and they have some examples but is for Forms 10g and the file they want me open is orion - there is no web.xml in 11.1.2.

    So, how can I do this in 11.1.2 forms.

    Thank you
    Laba

    You use the standard port defined for your application on Forms. For example, if you have the port 8888 defined, you need to use URL: http://: 8888/my_reports /.

  • Virtual directory in the background header image region does not

    I created a region of the head of the region that needs the background image to repeat vertical as horizontal, so that the class has been changed to include repeat them instead of horizontally.

    So I replaced class t20RegionHeader with this:

    {.t20RegionHeader}
    vertical-align: center;
    make-weight: normal;
    do-size: 9pt;
    make-weight: bold;
    color: #343434;
    background-image: url(/i/hdingBar-BG.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    text-align: left;
    padding: 1px 8px;
    white-space: nowrap;
    border: 1px solid #a3bed8
    }

    I put "/ i /" in the url of the background image bacause I am referencing an image in the virtual directory, but it did not work. Help, please!

    Please make sure you specify the correct image path

    hdingBar-BG is an Oracle supplied image located in the folder of Oracle home\http10g\Apache\Apache\images\themes\theme_20 is why I reference with the image according to the Oracle documentation prefix determines the virtual path, the Web server uses to point to the images directory distributed with Application Builder.) -- /i/

    If your path should be present
