• critical process error msg is dead

  I was with my pc hp pavilion dv7 laptop, then a loud beeping sound started with a popup saying it was any suspicious activity to the difficulty to call a microsoft agent that I did.  The 'agent' says my computer has been hacked so he has access to control my laptop to solve the problem, when it made movement * he told me I have to pay $499 for anti virus. I refused to pay him anything then when I hangedup the phone I have been unable to click or do something for the laptop I restarted now a blue screen with an error msg critical of the process is dead rises and I can't do anything. How can I fix?

  I found the solution!

  I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

  In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

  So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

  In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

  I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

  However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

  1 DirectDB

  2. the discovery

  3 SOAConfig

  > Reboot the server of the IOM.

  I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

  I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

  Someone came through a generic fix for this problem yet? I tried to use the CC uninstaller and reinstall the latest version of CC, verified file permissions and other solutions I've met yet but still no dice. We have the most recent version of all the CC apps as well.

  I have a pl sql process and catch an exception in the code.
  
  If the process of loan and is one exception I get a success - instead of an error notification.
  How can I activate the error notification after the interception of exception?

  Markus - the error text you define for the process appears only if the process fails. If you manage the errors it contains, the process succeeds and you get the success message.

  I'd be interested to hear what others are doing, but we did this sort of thing:

  Create a hidden page element, for example P1_MESSAGE.

  Set the value of this element of in your PL/SQL process, for example:

  ...
  exception
    when others then
      :P1_MESSAGE := 'Error text here';
  end;
  

  The entire text of success to & P1_MESSAGE. (with the trailing full stop).
