ordinal 5360

I just got of Fallout 3 and keep getting message "5360 ordinal not found in dynamic link library xlive.dll. The game installs and allows me to go to the "Play" menu then the message appears and the program is interrupted. I have also just computer in December with windows 7 already installed. First of all, what is ordinal5360 and second how can I fix?

Hi Dauris,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

You get this message if the update for the game is not being updated correctly.

This game is not compatible with Windows 7, as I check in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

For more information, see the link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=Fallout&v=Bethesda%20Softworks&uid=3&pf=0&pi=0&s=Fallout%203&os=32-bit

However, you can try to install the game in Vista compatibility mode and check.

To change the settings for compatibility manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the compatibility tab.

For more information, see the link: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

For any additional assistance for this game, I recommend that visit you the manufacturer of the game from the link below:

    Hello AF

It's really not easy to say how this problem can be solved. Usually the new facility could solve it. This kind of problems is not easy to repair on easy way. If you are a user with lots of experience I suggest you remove all records related to energy saving, even entries in regedit (be careful).

Then, try again to install energy-saving. Sorry but I have no other suggestions.

    Hey Carol,.

It would help if you could answer these questions.

-What version of Windows is installed on the computer?
-What antivirus software do you have on the computer?
-When you get this error? It is when the computer starts for the first time?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try to get the matter sorted.

First of all, if you have Mcafee AntiVirus installed on the computer, turn it off for awhile and see if the error. McUICnt.exe is a file that is

used by Mcafee and could be the reason for the error.
Note: Antivirus should be reactivated when you have completed troubleshooting. Computer with antivirus off is: exposed to the virus.

If Mcafee is not the cause, then try to do a scan complete antivirus on the computer in safe mode with networking using the Microsoft Safety Scanner

Make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Safe mode with networking: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

  • "450 ordinal is not found in the dynamic link library urlmonn.dll" or something. What does that mean?

I downloaded and installed the windows 7 transformation pack and then when I removed it a few months later he repeated this message whenever I started a program.

. DLL or Dynamic Link Library files are collections of routines or function that are accessible and used by one or more programs as needed. The Ordinal Point is an entry point or address where a program can expect to find a specific routine or function. Different versions of a. DLL can have different collections of routines that is held inside and as such, addresses can vary.

It would seem that the "transformation pack" has another (e.g. updated...?) version of the urlmon.dll file and 'remove' the transformation pack made the remaniing version on your XP with problems.

You could try the reinstatement of the existing urlmon.dll. Tap on the Windows key + R or click on Start, run - paste or type in the following in the text Open run dialog box.

    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

... and click OK. If this does not resolve your problem, you can also try a full System File Check. Tap on the Windows key + R or click on Start, run - paste or type in the following in the text Open run dialog box.

    cmd

... and click OK. At the opening of the command window, type the following,

    sfc/scannow

..., and then tap on . The process will take a few minutes depending on the speed of your computer. This process' Scans integrity of system protected all files and repairs files with problems when possible ".

Please note that you mentioned a urlmonn.dll. I'm not familiar with this specific. DLL and have provided guidance for the reinstatement of the urlmon.dll instead. If the stray file is indeed urlmonn.dll please adjust the instructions accordingly.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

Follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft security on your computer Scanner and check if it helps:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:

I suggest you install the latest anti-virus Microsoft Security essential on the computer program and check if it helps.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3:

I suggest to run the check disk and then try to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265

Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

  • Error message ordinal 1265 could not be located in the dynamic library IML 32 dll linl

Can anyone provide the solution for "1265 ordinal not found in dynamic library IML 32.dll linl. I'm trying to load a disc with a number of speed up the programmes on this subject. Thanks for any help

    Hi David77Mad,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. not the problem only occurs when you use a particular disc?

    Method 1

Iml32.dll file is a component common to basic applications and created on former Macromedia Shockwave, now known as the Adobe Shockwave.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. Click Start , and then click run.
    2. Type msconfig , and then click OK.
The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.
    3. Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services , and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you uninstall adobe shockware and check if it helps.

I went back to a restore point restarted and now I tried all modes (safe... etc.) I can't get to my sites in master (Ctrl-Alt-Delete), and then in the office and bookmarks on my 3 browsers in mode "master" task... I CAN get the Safe Mode cursor! Who can help me?

Did you do research on this issue - as some searching on Google?

Popular ideas that seem to be fruitful for the situation you describe revolve around a problem after installing IE8.

What seems to have worked for people with this problem is to start in Safe Mode, start the Task Manager, click file, new task, and in the type box:

    appwiz.cpl

Click OK to open Add/Remove Programs, uninstall IE8, restarted (if everything goes normally) and then reinstall IE8 (if that's what you think what you need).

It is strange that of many examples I found this problem on the Internet where people actually correctly solved the problem, not a single one of them used any of the ideas offered here by Microsoft support engineers.

Maybe the Department of Education look on the Internet for solutions to these problems - they just after their usual ineffective methods of trial and error...  Check this or that, try Safe Mode, see if it can help, boot, etc.

I'm surprised that there is no a sfc/scannow in there somewhere!

To be honest though, you might want to try to re - install IE8 first. It back to the last known good state.
