Organizing items - Photo Downloader crashing with Sony DSC-HX9V

I have Photoshop Elements 9 and Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). When I take my camera Sony DSC-HX9V SDHC Transcend memory card and try to import pictures of her (via card reader in my monitor), the Photo Downloader always crashes.  If I connect the camera (with the card inside) directly to the computer via USB, then the same action of download for PES 9 does NOT fail.  Similarly, if I copy the photos from the memory card, a USB key or a hard drive, then they also import without problem.  Finally, when I try to import photos from an old Canon camera of the same type of card memory via the card reader, they import without fail.  In sum, upload photo fails only for Sony camera memory card in the card reader.

Has anyone played it?

Is this a known incompatible?

The map includes not taken in charge video + JPEG. It works with JPEG files only?

Please please help, this problem makes me crazy.   I used Canon's Digital Photo Professional for a little while, then all of a sudden it started crashing whenever I go into one folder other than the one it opens upward in, which is the office.  I had updated some drivers between it works and does not not and maybe do a few other things, but nothing significant that pilots.  I've restored since the pilots said, they were the USB drivers in Device Manager, but they are back to normal now.  I uninstalled and reinstalled many times and we have tried various other things also.  Please HELP, it is important in my work flow software.

I opened the event viewer, and that's what it came with:

I spoke to Canon and they said that, because it is ntdll.dll that causes the problem, then is there nothing they can do.  I noticed that the ntdll.dll version is the same version that the drivers I have has been updated since and am now back to.  Is there a link? Really bad, I need this problem sorted and preferably without a new installation of windows.

    Thanks a lot a lot.

    Hello

The DPPViewer.exe is a Canon utility to check with their support for any updates and/or
known issues. The error occurs when not not using the program from Canon? If not then it is in fact
caused by the program of Canon or its associated drivers.

The ntdll.dll is actually leads to the fault and it not actually the cause of the error.

  • Organizing items Auto Popup

When I log on Windows 7, I get the following popup: "organizing items - Photo Downloader, Get pictures of G:Backup, not found valid file."

At the present time, I have no pictures on my drive "G"; However, I plan save my pictures on my 'G' drive, after I finished to transfer my magazines digitized my photo catalog, to the new files ' Library/Documents '.

In the meantime, how can I prevent the view in 'Éléments' Organizer, in automatically appear on my screen?

Ok. Then, it is possible that when you connect the player to the machine then the organizer was defined as an application to open files. This option appears in the options of Windows autorun. On Windows 7, you should go to control panel > hardware and sound > Autoplay > photos >. Don't you see the option "organize and edit using Adobe elements Organizer 8.0" checked there? Delete it or set it as "take no action" to avoid the EO Autolaunch Popup.

  • "Revaluation" of DSC-HX9v DSC-HX300 or DSC-HX50 (v) request?

As some know, on my other thread, I'm considering upgrading my Sony DSC-HX9v for the HX300. However, because of the noise of the zoom during playback video, I'm still uncertain on the HX300 so now also considering HX50 (v). The main reason for the upgrade is the zoom.

Has anyone done a similar upgrade and may comment if the image quality is better or less the phot and video? I understand that the HX300 has more pixels on the sensor, but this does not always translate in the best picture. Also, I was informed that because of the increase in zoom, the goal is obviously more thick which can decrease the quality of the image.

    Any advice greatly appreciated. TIA

It is true that a large number of megapixels does not equal a better picture quality. There are many other factors that contribute to the quality of image, and each have their own strong points.

The HX300-DSC and DSC-HX50V essentially share the same 20.4 MP CMOS sensor. The DSC-HX300 has an objective Carl Zeiss, the longest zoom range and wider opening that is perfect for defocus background. The DSC-HX50V with a Sony G lens, more scene modes and a shoes Multi Interface allows you to set accessories and expand the creative possibilities with the camera.

The effective diameter of the lens doesn't have a direct effect of image quality. The size of the lens will depend on several factors including zooming capacity, number of elements and materials used in the construction, among others.

    Method 1:
You can see the Sony device manual to see if there are parameters to transfer files to a computer.

  • PC crashes with DBO when downloading a file using Firefox to my iPad

PC crashes with DBO when downloading a large file via WiFi to my iPad and using AVPlayerHD player on the iPad. There is no report of error in Firefox, just the crash dump Windows 7 due to the accident. Only the combination of Firefox on PC and player AVPlayerHD on iPad causes this crash. Any other combination of PC and iPad works.
    Examples:
Firefox on PC and iFile on iPad works well.
Google Chrome on PC works with all programs on iPad.
Firefoc on PC and player AVPlayerHD on iPad crashes.

So you get a Blue Screen of Death on your Windows Machine? You have the exact error codes that appear when you get this blue screen?

Blue screens mean that you have a problem with a driver, hardware or virus on your PC, not with Firefox. I try to launch a program of analysis such as http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashedand see if she can tell you what triggered the accident. Also, make sure that all your drivers are up to date on your computer (especially the graphics driver: update your drivers graphics to use hardware acceleration and WebGL) and check the virus (Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware).

After that, if you still get the blue screen and crashed does not help, I would say to try to test your RAM with a utility such as http://www.memtest.org/

  • Bloated files with Photo Downloader

I just discovered Photo Downloader in Bridge CS5 4.0.4.2 and try to integrate it into my workflow.  However I don't understand why it seems to me end up with bloated files.  I use a Canon 5 d MkII, download of the camera and convert to dng with compression format and medium jpeg format.  I'm apparently end up with files that are 42 MB is size.  However if I download via a card reader and simply drag the image to my desktop files and then use the dng converter with the same settings I end up with files of approximately 20 MB, which is about what to expect as my camera generated around 24 MB RAW files. Still more curious I have tried to download the same file by using the two methods and when they are both open in Photoshop the size of the document at the bottom of the image window shows the same?

I can't help thinking I'm missing something pretty simple, but may not work what he.  Any help would be appreciated as I would like to be able to use the charger.

    Thank you

    Matt.

I can't help thinking I'm missing something pretty simple, but cannot

    what works.

For me it sounds you also have the ability to embed the original Raw file

    checked.

This converts the file to DNG, but also includes the original Raw

Drop so her almost double in file size

This option has been added in order to extract the original Raw file if you, for

a reason if you want to be able to develop the Raw file using the

Application of the seller that came with your digital SLR. Because usually the

converters do not work with the standard DNG. (This means that they have not in the)

past, no idea if they do it right now).

Personally, I never had use for the converter of the seller, mostly because he was

very slow and far from being productive but which is only my opinion.

However, for security reasons, I include the option to save the

to another location original Raw files. For no other reason then a

additional backup which fortunately I never had the need to

You also have the option to add a metadata model (think of a copyright

model) and rename the files on ingestion during the conversion to DNG.
