Origami Photo theme

I'm working on OS X El Capitan 10.11.2

When organizing and work in the Origami video theme, I would like to be able to modify the Photos separated in the set-up of Origami.

in other words, what Photo appear in the left frame and which appear in the other smaller frames. Is it possible to change. Or influence their size?

Thank you for your comments.

Slideshow templates are filled automatically according to the format of the pictures. You can drag the photos around between slides, but endearing to a specific space reserved is like fighting windmills.  If you want a perfect control over the sequence of photos use the basic theme or the theme of Ken Burns.

the themes will have the advantage of your audience will look at your photos and not to be distracted by the effects.

XP - I accidentally hit apply in the control panel-> display and my photo theme and background got changed - how do I restore it?  Where these files are stored on the hard drive? G

    Hello

Drive G is usually used by business networks to store user information. You company Help Desk or system administrators should be able to help recover the deleted user information.

    If not on personal computers (XP) it is usually c:\documents and settings\ {username}

but you should be able to find it in your Recycle Bin and recover from there (if you have not already emptied your recycling bin).

    Kind regards.

  • 10 iOS is picking up strangers in the photos and adding them to the list of people.  How can I get rid of them completely.  That is, pictures that I don't like this person speak

perfect strangers (people standing or sitting in the background of an image that I took) are appearing in my list of people and there is no obvious way to get rid of them.

The only thing you can do about them is hide people or ignore them, if they appear in the section "Add people" from the album of peoples.

If you hide a person detected, no photo with this person will be added to a memory.

    See this help page: http://help.apple.com/iphone/10/#/iph9c7ee918c

Hide and show people. Tap Albums, people, press Select, tap on the people you want to hide, and then select hide. To redisplay the people, press on show hidden people, press Select, people, then press display. Photos that contain hidden people appear not in Moments, Collections, the years and memories but are visible in albums.

Show hidden people. Press Albums, people, drag upward, on view hidden people. To see all the pictures with hidden people, tap Albums, tap Hidden.

  • in the photos on macbook pro installed yosemite pictures have a letter J in the corner and I can't change them

Some of my photos have a letter "J" in the corner, and I can't change them with photo-editing tools. Someone knows why?

The letter 'J' means that the photo is part of a pair of "GROSS" and "JPEG", and the JPEG file has been selected as the original image file.  If the RAW file is selected as the original, you would see an 'R' in the corner.

What exactly happens, when you try to change these photos? You get a message from a missing file? Or what's happening?

Try to pass the original JPEG on the original RAW.  Open the image in EDIT mode, if you can and then use the command "Image > use RAW as the Original. This command is only available in edit mode.

  • How to remove photos from a photo stream on the iPhone, but keep them on Mac?

    Hello world

I tried to find the answer to my question in the FAQ, but so far I've failed. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me.

I have an iPhone (5s) and a MacBook Air (13 inch, early 2015). I have not activated the iCloud photo library, but I use the photo gallery on both devices. Because I often take pictures with my phone, I'm running out of memory space on my phone.

In regards to this and photo stream feature, I have several questions:

    1. If I want to make more room on my iPhone, I have to delete some pictures. Assuming that I do this, these pictures are deleted from my Mac after 30 days?

    2. How can I remove photos from my iPhone without deleting them from my Mac (because I turned on the feature of photo stream)?

    3. If I import the photos from my iPhone in the Photos App on my Mac (when it is connected to my Mac with a USB cable), they are 'safe '?

I hope that my questions are understandable and I would appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks to all and best wishes,

    Lars

    1. no - as long as you have allowed MyPhotoStream to import photos - if they have not been imported yet then they will be gone

    2. after importation of pictures you can delete them from the iPhone, and they will remain in Photos of the moments / pictures

3 - Yes - but if you import several times, you will have duplicates - you should use USB or PHM import

  • My iPhone 6sPlus just save my photos m4v instead of JPEGs image. How can I get them to JPEG?

I have been shooting still photos with my iPhone 6sPlus.

All of a sudden this evening all of my images have been recorded as m4v files.

My iMac is trying to open them in Real Player.

I want to just still jpegs.

How can I adjust to save pictures in JPEG format again?

    Hello

You took your pictures as Live Photos (it is enabled by default), which combine a photo with a short video of the moments just before and just after that photo was taken, with audio included.

Live Photo is enabled by default. To activate or deactivate, press the Live pictures of the camera on your iPhone app (yellow lights):

For existing photos, to only import the photo part yet to your Mac running an earlier version of Mac OS X, connect your iPhone to your computer, open the image transfer application and only import the jpg for each photo.

  • How to transfer photos from my iPhone to my iPad, put them in albums and then remove them from my iPhone

How to transfer photos from my iPhone to my iPad, put them in albums and then remove them from my iPhone

    There are several methods.

You could make a start by looking at this article.

  • If I save my photos on iCloud is it OK to delete them on my iPad or who will lose their

IF I save my photos to iCloud is safe to delete them off my iPad to release a certain storage capacity

No it's not. If you use settings > iCloud > backup backup of the iPad to iCloud, be aware that the only thing you can do with the backup is used to do a full restore or configure a new iOS device. If you do a full restore, regardless of data/photos currently on the device will be replaced by the contents of the backup (for example, you would lose any new photos and other new information on the device since the last backup). Also future backups include is no longer deleted photos.

If you use settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud photo library, know that it is a synchronization rather than a backup. All the photos you delete iPad will be deleted to iCloud and any other device connected to this library to iCloud. You can possibly reduce the required storage on the iPad by activating the storage parameter optimize on the same settings screen.

Apple does not currently of any option storage cloud for photos only. You can explore 3rd party opportunities such as Flickr, Dropbox and others who may have cloud options only.

  • I'm looking for a theme of book with the right combination of text and photo layout.

I'm doing a book project I have Photos for Mac. I would like to include text, but then discovered that some themes have not; the I took has only pages full of text. Another is, but offered just 3 photos on each page, in strange layouts.

The main problem is that when I pick I see nothing other than the cover. I have to build the project to see what I get. Is there another way to see them, or choose one based on preferences?

And when did things become so shitty? I have created a book in iPhoto, and it was really easy.

Mostly by trial and error.  What I did is create a test with a few photos with the first theme of book available.  I then he reproduced several times and changed the theme to one of the others.  I now have a test for each of the themes book.

When I want to create a new book with a particular theme I duplicate the test book, rename it and use it.

There is something generally wishing to each of the book themes: features and Photo Book Formats.  If descriptions are insufficient, so trial and error described above will be necessary.
