OSX Leopard Flash 9: Black blocks behind the letters in a Flash content?

I just finished installing Leopard on my 15 "MacBook Pro and was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with Flash 9 installed. Unfortunately, the app Scrabulous has black blocks made behind the almost black text now and I can not understand how to fix it.

Here is a link to a picture of what it looks like: Black blocks of text

What I tried:

-Install the Adobe site flash player (same version, but smaller than the one that comes with Leopard.1 MB)
-display in FireFox 2.0.0.8
-display of another account on this computer
-Reinstall Leopard

None of these things seems to solve this problem. Someone else had the same problem? Anyone know of a solution / workaround?

Hi rhithyn,

Have you tested with the beta:

  • Tecra M4 - black spots behind the display Tablet cover

    After an intense action of cleaning every month, I recognized a few black dots on the back side of the front glass of the tablet. I did some checking of finger on the screen to see if it's a pixel error. I can say with any doubt that he is not a pixel error.

    After a Google search I found people describing the same. It is assumed that it is the result of fan heavy work.

    Y at - it no support out there that can help me solve this problem?

    Hello

    I put t really understand the link between the black dots on the screen and the heavy work module cooling.
    For me this internet s nonsense provides a lot of information useful but also very stupid gossips, myths and stories

    Always it is that you have a few black pixels on the TFT display and it sounds like a hardware problem.
    So in this case, there is only one solution; This part is replaced or repaired I guess, it should be replaced

    For all replacements, you will need to contact the ASP in your country. Ask them to help and managing others.

  • iPad black screen behind the folder when opening, it

    Since iOS 10 upgrade, rather than see the "fuzzy" version of the paper painted behind a home screen Apps folder, because it opens the screen goes black in the background. Not a big deal, but incompatible with the previous action and includes the iPhone with ios10

    Hi David_D49,

    I see that you have updated to iOS 10, and you have a question about a change that you have noticed since the update on your device. The behavior you're seeing can be the result of a framework of accessibility called movement reduce. You can find more information about it here:

    Reduce the movement of the screen - iPad User Guide

    Try to turn off this feature and see if your device responds more to your expectations, after this change. Thank you for coming to Apple Support communities and do not hesitate to reach out to any other questions you have.

  • Why print PDF with signature a block behind the signature box?

    I received a PDF file with an electronic signature placed on a signature line image. It seems, when you view the document in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro and preview printing even seems OK. When I send the document to a PictBridge compatible printer, it puts the signature image on a black box instead of a transparent box. I tried printing to a monochrome vs. color printer, tried with and without the option "print in grayscale", attempt to print Document only, Document and annotations and Document and stamps. I don't know what else to watch or what parameters are related to how a signature will print. The document is safe, so I cannot change the properties of the signature or the PDF file.

    Hi joshc81577761,

    Please try to check with the option "Print as image".

    Also cocher check with the different document, try checking with printers different (Drivers day).

    Check with the name with the name of the application by means of which the document was created.

    Also, try to re-create a document with the same properties & try to print the document to reproduce the problem.

    Kind regards

  • "When I resize a photo for 30 x 45 ' 300 dpi, it becomes large black blocks on the image

    Anyone know who to stop photoshop to do this? "I'm an experienced photoshop user and every time I try to resize my image to make a big impression 30 x 45" I get these blocks. I tried several different resampling options. The images come from a Canon 5 d mark III and a Canon 5 d (50 megapixels) Mark III. The image below illustrates the problem. I use a 2014-15 inch MacBook Pro with 16 GB of memory 2.5 GHz CPU.

    HI fasterlight4939,

    This looks like a known bug in code OpenCL Apple MacOS 10.11.

    • Could you please go to the Photoshop preferences and then go to the performance tab.
    • There please click on advanced settings, under graphics processor and set drawing on Basic Mode.
    • And also please uncheck the option "Open GL"
    • Restart Photoshop and then put in a new image and re - size.

    This should avoid the problem until Apple can release a update for the OS problems.

  • Development of solid/block behind the text background?

    New on don't Muse (1 day) no background in web development. You create a master template that has a tile to fill browser background image.  Text of the page does not appear on top of the background image, so I added a solid white block that is used to set the content area of the page.  However, when I add text to a real page (not the template), if I add a lot of text block background does not extend the vertically to reach the text I add. The result is the text that overflows the solid background block and (badly) on screens fill the background as follows:

    text issues.JPG

    I probably not go about it in the right way, but am not sure what would be the correct method to set a background color that develops / contract dynamically the contents of the different pages.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Rather than use a white rectangle block, you can try to use a white frame fill text itself which would address the issue.

    Thank you

  • Black background behind the footer links

    I'm having a problem with my footer links, I'm new on the web construction and I'm trying to build a portfolio using CS6 site.

    Site - jmacphot.com

    You can see on my site footer links have a black background and for the life of me I can't get rid of it.

    What I want is so that there is no background and links to turn red with underscores when hovered over.

    This is my CSS code:

    @charset "UTF-8";

    * {

    margin: 0px;

    padding: 0px;

    background-color: #000;

    }

    {#wrapper}

    background-color: #CCC;

    Width: 800px;

    margin-right: auto;

    left margin: auto;

    border-right-width: 1px;

    border-left-width: 1px;

    border-right-style: solid;

    border-left-style: solid;

    border-right-color: #CCC;

    border-left-color: #CCC;

    }

    #header {}

    height: 150px;

    }

    #navigation {}

    background-color: #CCC;

    height: 36px;

    padding-left: 80px;

    padding-top: 5px;

    }

    #content {}

    background-color: #CCCCCC;

    height: 200px;

    }

    #footer {}

    height: 40px;

    text-align: left;

    padding-left: 20px;

    padding-top: 20px;

    background-color: #D6D6D6;

    }

    I have? Inline style on my index page - could it have an impact on the links?

    < style type = "text/css" >

    a: link {}

    text-decoration: none;

    color: #CCC;

    border: 0;

    }

    a: visited {}

    text-decoration: none;

    color: #CCC;

    }

    a: hover {}

    text-decoration: underline;

    Color: #F00;

    }

    a: active {}

    text-decoration: none;

    color: #CCC;

    }

    < / style >

    The page W3C vallidates without any error, but this is not how it's supposed to look.

    Any help will be greatly received.

    See you soon

    Delete the background color of this CSS style property.  It is used to make each element on your page have a black background, which is not a good thing.

    * {

    margin: 0px;

    padding: 0px;

    background-color: #000;

    }

  • What is the best way to retrieve deleted mp3 files? I am running OSX Leopard 10.5.8 on a PowerPC G5 tower. I'll be very grateful for any help in this matter. Thanks to Chris

    Hello

    What is the best way to retrieve deleted mp3 files? I had a lapse of attention and I deleted a folder containing most of my music files. It is for the most part, the mp3 but there was regular audio files and some wav files in there also. I am running OSX Leopard 10.5.8 on a PowerPC G5 tower. I have another PPC machine to help the recovery, if I need, but at the moment, he is not appearing on my network (3 computers). I'm trying to change this soon. I'll be really grateful for any help in this matter.

    Thanks to Chris

    If you emptied the Recycle Bin after you move the folder to the trash, and you don't have a time Machine or another backup, then it is lost, sorry.

    I have a black stripe on the wall behind the speaker in my film.  Is there a way to remove it because I could do in Photoshop with the clone tool?

    AE has a clone tool.

    If the black stripe is stationairy you can use a mask to isolate a good piece of wall one drop on the original clip

    Restart your computer to stop any process Adobe you may have running.

    Go to the bottom of the page where it says still "problems" and try the installer for Firefox.

  • need to put a strip of black or another behind the link of note and a welcome disconnect on the top right corner

    Hello

    I need to put a black or other tape colored behind the note link and a logout user welcome on the upper right corner. The band will go from one corner to the other corner of the screen.

    How to achieve this requirement.

    Please give an idea.

    Very easy to do with css. Depending on your theme and design the right identifier you can place a css attribute in the section of the page under css inline, which looks a little like this:

    #uHeader {background:.. .your color here ;}}

  • hidden behind the flash file menu

    Hello

    This is probably the answer somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. This is my first time coming to this forum. I have a good knowledge of HTML, learn CSS and just started with DW CS3.

    I have a drop down at the top of my page. In the body of the page is a flash (.swf) file. The drop-down menu falls behind the flash file. I played a bit with z-index to try and stack the elements correctly, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I need the combo of being above everything else. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Murray,
    Thank you for your quick response. That did the trick in IE6, IE7 and Firefox. Appreciate your help in resolving this fight almost 2 weeks to understand.
