  I am currently faced with InDesign CS5 crashes whenever I click on the ' File/open' icon in the decorative Panel or folio builder (choice of images for a sequence or import articles for example). I tried to update all components to their latest version, including the Folio Builder update August 4 without success, ID guard closing as soon as I click on the open icon. Any ideas? Is this a documented problem? Again ID CS5 and not 5.5...

  I am new to Dreamweaver CS5 (in fact Dreamweaver period!)  Anyway, I think this photography website for my photography and I designed the homepage with photoshop on CS5, I found this tutorial on Kelby Training, its running well enough, until I designed the photo galleries (which was done in Adobe Media Gallery in Bridge) there was a segment on Kelby training covering photoshop and Dreamweaver of course that they were using the CS3 version, and I was using CS5, but I built the galleries looked OK, so I came across some problems gradually photo galleries in my Web site.  I hope that I make any sense on this.  Thank you

  I "discovered" this event installing new brushes (BACKSPACE to Snow Leopard) - bam, library "gone". 3-4 hours later, after Google search (know it was the m.o. BONE) and post, I am back to normal w / my user folder of snow leopard (two operating systems have been share for a short period). So just thought I'd throw that out there, like where now the best place to store user CS5 brushes when Lion hits... I have my doubts Apple will change this (it is not iPad as, if they come back!)?

  We have 10 Coldfusion and Dreamweaver CS5.5 in my company. We want to be able to see all the functions CF10 CFML, tags, and attributes in the AutoFill when writing code. I found a link for a download of Adobe for them but it does not say which version of Dreamweaver is necessary to make it work. Can someone tell me please? It will work with CS5.5?

  I have a subscription Adobe CC for InDesign, but am still ongoing for Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS5. Recently all migrated to a new iMac running Yosemite, and since then, Dreamweaver does more (no problems with Photoshop). See screen shot of the error message. I thought that the simple answer would be to reinstall but can't figure out how. I don't have an installation disc - CS5.5 was a download. But when I log into my account, Adobe, CS5 products are not listed. I vaguely remember my manager has bought a lot of licenses for us user, and I have a note of the serial numbers.

  If you have the info set, you should be able to use the cleanup tool to remove the program all together (migrating from one machine to another rarely ever works), then download the correct version of Adobe, install and enter your registration information to activate...

  You can try to reset the Dreamweaver preferences.

  Following the file and the folder are removed from your system:

  / Users / your User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  / Users / your user name/Library/Preferences

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  Access the hidden library files Mac OS

  When Dreamweaver starts, it creates a new preferences file and the folder.

  If it helps doesnot, maybe you can try to create a new admin user account and check. If this is useful, you can try to uninstall and reinstall in the new user account.

  I was finally able to get on a chat session with an Adobe employee and the problem has been resolved. She told me to "Skip This Step" then screen here and it worked (when I had tried that before, it did not work, but that was before the deactivation was made for the computer on which crashed). I hope that this will not cause any kind of problem ID and password in the future, but for now, the program is back up and functioning normally.

  I reinstalled InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 after upgrading to Mac OS x Lion,

  Photoshop and Illustrator work fine but InDesign crashes at startup.

  I followed a few threads here, it was suggested to create a new user at the level of the adimistrator on my machine - and that works, but I can't figure out what to fix in my regular to user InDesign works here...

  I ended up going into the new user (in which indesign worked) and the copy of the entire folder Preferences (disk hard/Users /Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign ///) to my regular user (in which indesign did not work).

  Now, everything works fine.

  I have recently developed a problem with my Dreamweaver CS5.

  I have a very small project (currently 1 file html, 1 css file and some assets in folders), but this project makes Dreamweaver performance to a crawl. Any time click you on anything anyone, you must wait at least 10 seconds to answer him. It also displays does not not at the top of the page.

  However, if you manage to navigate to another project, then he speeds right back up again! I tried to delete all the files in the user cache > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > DreamweaverCS5 > en_US, but this made no difference. I rebooted the computer too. Nothing.

  Any ideas how to solve this problem, because it makes this unworkable project.

  After trying what you suggested, I had initially a success full, everything worked fine. But when I moved my belongings he slowed to a grinding hault again. However, in doing so, I managed to find the cause of what he was doing so slow.

  The background image for one of my divs was transparent .png file semi was 1px by 1px. I think that the Dreamweaver crashed trying to render the div because she felt return both copies of this pixel. I'll try to make an image in photoshop which is maybe 10px 10px or larger and tiles which instead. I hope that this will solve my problem.

  I don't know if it's the same as you, but I thought it would be useful to know when the same issue.
