• Icons of file type for the .docx files are incorrect

  I started with a version of Microsoft Excel and Word Starter on my computer, but once I started University, I had to install a trial version of Office Professional. Since I installed the trial version and then uninstalled the starter version, my icons of file type for the .docx files resemble white pieces of paper. However, all other types of files shows an icon of Microsoft Word, such as for example .rtf files. Only the .docx icons are incorrect on the hard drive of the computer and to a flash drive I carry school (icons are correct on the flash drive on the school computers).

  Basically, the .deskthemepack extension is not recognized by Windows 7 because it is introduced in Windows 8. The new "panoramic" desktop themes all use this format.

  1. How are you sure that you change the individual file extension and not the entire folder?
  2. how exactly you try this?

  To change a name of file, all you have to do is right click on the file, and then click Rename, instead of the path you describe in the thread.

  I just changed my Web site hosting provider; old and new providers of Linux services.
  My site is scottishcca.co.uk - a site of chess by correspondence - and I use Win7 and 26.0 Firefox.
  There is a page (members/downloads) where members can download files of games of chess and e-magazines - the page is password protected using htaccess/htpasswd which works well.
  Each e-magazine has 4 download links: pdf, zip and pgn all work fine, but cbv does not - it just displays the contents of the file in the browser page. What needs to happen is that the browser should display a dialog box asking if the file should be opened with ChessBase 11 database software (which is associated with the type of file .cbv on my computer - I checked my default program settings). File .pgn type is also associated with the ChessBase 11 database software and working properly - the dialog box allows me to open or save.
  All the links work correctly when I use Google Chrome.
  I'm puzzled - advice please!

  I think I have a solution for this. I went back to my new hosting provider (easyspace) and received this response:

  I did some research on this for you and have a suggestion for you to try.
  It is possible that Firefox is not to recognize the MIME Type application/cbv, because it is not just a registered IANA MIME Type.
  You could try instead of application/octet-stream, which is a generic MIME Type for non-text files.
  This idea came to me while reading the page at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Properly_Configuring_Server_MIME_Types and this document can give you more of an idea of why this does not work in Firefox.
  Can you try this please and let me know how you go.

The speed improvement is great, but I get intermittent errors when files are missing from the global document storage. I am creating com.adobe.idp.Document objects and put them in a map later passed to the parameter of attachment of the returned call the form. All this happens in about 1/2 second and yet several times the GDS file behind the attachment has disappeared when the rendered form runs. I tried with and without appeal, passivation and passivateGlobally. It still does not work. I just open and close the same task in space several times before, it will happen. More attachments, more it must take place. The time-out for the default layout is set to 10 minutes, so something must be explicitally disposition of these records. Any ideas?

  I thought about it. Well, I stopped the error and have a theory as to why. My custom component using Reader Extensions. I would get an error do not find classes, unless I have included the jar in the classpath of component.xml. It seems that most of the samples of custom component I find do.
