  Hey Blair,

  You should be able to do by simply selecting (Ctrl + A) and copy (Ctrl + C) all content from the page master of the Site1 and paste in Place (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + V) into the master page of Site2.

  I have to add/insert the pages of an InDesign CS4 document with all the content that may be present in the page to the other.

  What is the best way to implement who? I did find something similar to kAddDocToBookCmdBoss.

  The optimum would be to have something like kAddPageToDocCmdBoss for a better granularity.

  The wheel of the Pages panel menu has an action "move Pages... "dialog.

  It fires off the coast of several commands:

  kCreatePageFromPageCmdBoss

  cmd target is the target document

  UIDList is the kSpreadBoss of the source.

  Document IID_ILAYOUTCMDDATA is again the target doc.

  monitoring of kMoveSpreadCmdBoss and kShufflePagesCmdBoss.

  Lost photo should find I was moving images from one folder to another.  He said that I had this picture in the folder.  Then he asked if I wanted to replace the existing image.  I said yes.  Now I miss several photos and cannot find anywhere - but some went through.  I need these photos in return.  Any ideas on how to get back them?  Thank you

  The dialog box asking if you want to "replace the existing image.
  occurs when the target folder contains a file with the same
  name that you are moving.

  Unfortunately... when a file is overwritten (replaced) with another
  file of the same name... the original is unrecoverable.

  There is a slight possibility... If the photos had been altered in
  Windows Live Photo Gallery... the unreleased original versions which
  could be cancelled in may still be in the following folder:

  C:\Users\\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Original photos.

  Our it staff moved us from one server to another.  Although I did a sync with all my spotted "available offline" files before the move, the change of server name left me with an orphan sync partnership.  Is anyway to disconnect this partnership?  I have not been able to find a way.  Thank you.

• Move a layer from one document to another, I get the error message that the layer is empty

  When I copy a layer from one document to another in PS CC 2015.5 and then try to move the layer in the destination document, I get the error message that the layer is empty.  It is not empty and I checked several times and checked that the layer is not empty.  I have never had this problem before and wonder if something has changed in CC 2015.5.

  Thanks to all who responded.  I think the problem was that I was using the NEF files and that he had not yet renamed PSD files.  Copy the layer in the destination document, but when I tried to move the layer in the destination document, I received the error message.  Apparently, he was copying the layer but there not then recognize the NEF format.  Once I saved both documents to the PSD, then the program behaved normally.  I appreciate your all of the help.

  When I drag multiple layers from one document to another, now the keys ctrl-shift-alt (that is placed exactly in the same place) Photoshop changes the selected layers. He eithers add a leyer or just pass.

  He wants me to drag a segment of the leyer where there is 'information' or pixels.

  I drag in the document itself, not the layerpanel.

  In previous versions, it wasn't like that.

  Sometimes there is a very little information or pixels in a layer. This is way hard to aim straight for photoshop to do what I want it to do.

  I don't know if it's done on purpose or it is a very annoying bug.

  Well, it is quit interesting: while we are working on this problem, I advised a new update for photoshop: some problems occurred with the last update.

  I was working with 20151114.r.301

  And now I have the 20151209.r.327 version (which comes in fact in a few minutes ago)

  I tried the same thing as above and now my problem with the sliding of the layers went!

  So it was a bug. Nothing to do with the settings or anything.

  In the layers panel, select the layer or folder you want to add to a second document. Choose the Edition command > copy. Select the second document window and choose Edition > paste.

• How can I move pages from one document to the other without merger of paragraph styles?

  I want to create a singular indesign file of 2 separate documents, which allows me to make an interactive PDF of it.

  However, when you move pages from one to the other, it seems that when each document has a paragraph style with the same name, they merge. The problem is that text is then adjusted if the styles do not match completely.

  Is there a way to merge the documents without any formatting changes?

  Create a Style group in each document and move all styles in this file. Give each document a different name. Do it with all kinds of styles: paragraph, character, objects, tables and Cell Styles. Then you can sort them later in the merged document what you do with these styles.

  When I try to move the file by dragging the clip from one event to another, I get this message that "the file could not be opened because there is no file of this type." I have Final Cut Pro X was last updated.

  I find it interesting since when I imported the raw images from an SD card for Final Cut Pro, I copied all the files in the library. I even played the files and they worked.

• How to maintain spreads after the moving pages from one file to the other?

  I'm bringing together several chapters of books into one Indesign file, by clicking on the thumbnails in the Pages panel and selecting 'move Pages... "in the context menu.

  The problem I have is that I can't keep the flow of the page between the chapters on the destination file, resulting in a spread broken between chapters when exporting to PDF format. Here is a screenshot to illustrate the problem, seen here between 18 and 19 pages:

  

  I tried to turn on and turn off the following options on the source and destination documents but nothing changes:

  -To spread selected to Shuffle

  -Allow to the Pages of the Document for Shuffle

  I also deleted all sections of the destination document (as you can see on the screenshot, page 19 doesn't have the little black arrow that indicates a new section), with no chance either.

  I also tried dragging the thumbnails manually but nothing helped. I just can't understand how to keep the spreads between chapters together page.

  Can someone help me with this?

  In your turned scewwn, pages 14-18 are configured to not mix (you can tell by the [] aroound the numbers). Set the Shuffle and all should be well.

  Level 2 technical support, we cannot spend areas put to our partner area if the site is renamed. It stops at all the other sites created with her to work.

  The reason why you can not add this domain - auroratec.ca to another site because this domain is your domain rebranding and even if you delete it from your partner site - business Auroratec DNS zone will not be deleted. This is because you have the sites created using your rebranding for example domain name woodlandjewellers.auroratec.ca

  In this case, what I propose here is Brad is to add the field to your partner site (by adding one of the registers instead of adding the new domain) and if you need to change the content of your partner site simply use a FTP client to migrate content from one site to the other.

  Please note that the rebranding domain cannot be removed from the system, so it can be used only in the partner site.

  So what I've done is added the field back using a records and set up a redirect to the new site with a new domain name until I change all my business cards, advertising, graphic design, vehicle etc for the new domain name. It all will work in the end - is not ideal, but I'll live with it. Prateek in support has been very helpful and complete.

  Looks like a problem with the graphics driver (it may need updating), or maybe even the monitor.
