  You will need to copy your other files on the hard disk before the distribution, you will lose it. When you have completed the process you can put back them on here.

• Problems with the Out-of-Band updates

  I am running Dell v2.0 OME.  Everything works great including the updates via OMSA. However, the updates made via the iDRAC connections fail every time.

  I could say I tried everything, but I thought someone might help me with troubleshooting whole again in case I missed something or did something wrong.

  The connections of the DRAC live on a different subnet, but there is no firewall between these two networks.  Only a router that routes traffic between the two.  As I type this I came with some other ideas, but if you have something to offer that would be great.

  Here is the error I get trying to deploy the updates.

  Well the call with Dell has not helped, but eventually I was able to understand it.  I learned that during an attempted search on a (executable) package for download, IIS returns a 404 error.

  An example URL is http://[nameofserver]:1278/install_packages/Packages/SAS-RAID_Firmware_C3X7D_WN32_12.10.6-0001_a12.exe

  I had to open the Web.config for the bulk of the site and adds the following snippey inside the section.

  
          
  

  The site's web.config file is located in C:\Program Files\Dell\SysMgt\Essentials\wwwroot\Essentials\.

  Once the module was in place, I was able to navigate to any package and it would prompt me to download it. From there, I tested the updates again on the ESXi hosts and all is well again. I hope that this little information helps someone else!

• SAS via failing OME drive update

  The upgrade of the 3JVY1_WN32_YS0A_A07SAS drives firmware is valid?

  The download web page is contradictory on the firmware version it contains. First sentence States YS09. The fourth line the YS0A States. Updates via OME and iDRAC both fail. The lifecycle log reports that specified DUP is not compatible with the target device. Our R720 devices are on version YS09.

  The exit port of the band is at the back of the switch and for out of band management. Page 93 of the user guide shows you where the port is located and has a good description of the port.

  You can, and it can work properly.  All certified disk includes the risk of bad contact with the controller.  So, the answer is 'yes', but at your own risk.  Dell will also help you solve the problems of storage without certified readers, so if you go credits/retail, get ready to make your own troubleshooting - or be able to make experts if necessary.

  You may NOT USE the SME players on the controllers of the company although.

  Thank you for bringing your problem of update for Apple Support communities. From your post, I gathered that you tried to update your iPhone 6 to 10 IOS through iTunes, but you can not. I have an iPhone 6 as well and I was very happy to upgrade to iOS 10. I'll be happy to help you with this.

  iOS 10 requires iTunes version 12.5.1, which is available on Mac OS X versions 10.9.5 or later. You want to upgrade to El Capitan. Before the upgrade, it's always a good idea to save the Mac with Time Machine. The following items go on the means to backup and upgrade of Mac OS X.
