  Create a new Folders.dbx.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  The path to the message will be very similar to this:

  C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

  With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it. A new one will be created when you open OE.

• I have an Air of MacBk 2010 & I get the mssg "system is out of memory of the application", so it is impossible to open the Mail, Safari, etc.. But sometimes I can't. I deleted photos or videos for free space; no luck. What should do?

  release disk space and short-term memory are two different things. If your computer is running more disk space, it will have a negative effect on your system.

• TX2-1050us: out of memory on the tx2-1050

  I have this good old laptop that got genrally gave good sevice.

  Recently I used it more often and very often find that it is very slow to respond - often in the firefox browser, but other applications too, as well as switching between them sometimes.

  I have the factory installed 3 GB of memory installed as was diaappointed to see on http://support.hp.com/th-en/document/c01634464 that 4 GB is the maximum.

  I was wondering if anyone has creative solutions for my situation. I don't use the laptopn for something heavy massively and have only a few apps running background (dropbox, teamviewer, creative cloud adobe etc.), but as I say - see the often slow in firefox that could be using 1 to 1.5 GB of memory and anything up to 40% of the CPU sometimes.

  It is better to reinstall Windows, office, adobe etc... ? I don't really have much on it. and since I installed Windows 7 on the factory - installed Vista I think the only application of HP that I still have is the dock "HP".

  4 gigs can be a major improvement over 3. Sound like not a lot but Windows 7 will use 2 or 3 concerts in operation which makes this extra concert on the margins of a big difference. By all means a clean installation will make the zippier thing. You will notice in the thread of years like the registry will clog up, and performance degrades very slowly.

  I suggest that you try to find a tool to examine the contents of the memory segment (for example, jmap) just before the closure of the environment. Something fills your pile, and if your cache size I is only 5 M, then it's not information I.

  In other words, even if the exception OutOfMemoryError, which happens when you close the environment of I, this does not mean that I is responsible for the allocation of the memory that is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you run Etrecheck again after removing adware, to see if it ALL correctly deleted and then see if the system works without problem.

  You can use the name of the service for the ptql query, for example:

  java-jar sigar.jar ps Service.Name.eq = Eventlog

  Sigar below will search the process pid by using the name of the service.

  The firefox * 32 process remains running in memory after the release of Firefox. You cannot restart firefox without killing the process (ctrl-alt-delete...) or by restarting the computer.

  I'm running Windows 7 pro 64-bit and the Swedish version of Firefox 6.0.2.

• The utility file splitting, "LabVIEW out of memory" message...

  I set up a quick utility that takes a .txt file and it splits into n segments.  The problem I have is that when I feed a larger file in it it gives me an error "Out of Memory".  What is a most effective way todo it.  Attached you will find the VI.  It is written to 8.6 it take part in many, lol, it works very well as long as the file is less than 35 MB.

  Here's a passage from 15 minutes to rework your VI.  It can solve the problem of memory off and it shows much better style of LabVIEW.  You may be able to find examples of similar bolt by searching on this forum.

  I have a Mathscript node inside a Subvi is called inside a loop for. After a few iterations of the loop, I run out of memory. That's why I added another node in Mathcript with the function 'clear' outside the Subvi, hoping that after I get the variables from the node I could erase the memory of the Mathscript, but this does not work, it is always short of memory.  Is anyone know how can you delete variable memory Mathscript node, once they were saved in the variables in Labview?   You don't even really any useful information to solve the problem. As I exaplained, constantly deleting data sets just to reassign them to the next iteration is generally ill advised, because it causes just more performance and same memory fragmentation issues. It is best to operate locally as much as possible.

  Who wrote the code matlab? Maybe it's very inefficient? What is doing? Perhaps rewrite in LabVIEW you gain significant performance.
