  I suggest that you try to find a tool to examine the contents of the memory segment (for example, jmap) just before the closure of the environment. Something fills your pile, and if your cache size I is only 5 M, then it's not information I.

• Memory from the Flushing call library function node

  I use the function call library (COLD LAKE) node to load some dll dynamically in a same vi.

  I use a loop for to send the DLL files or a table to COLD LAKE to load the different dll.

  For the first iteration, the COLD LAKE works very well, but for the second iteration and so on can not replace the output variable, and continue to repeat the result of the first iteration.

  Is there anyway to clear the memory of COLD LAKE, so that I will get the correct result for DLL 2nd and so on?

  I understand your message, you have different dll, which returns an array of LabVIEW.

  This table can be of different sizes according to the DLL you are calling.

  I think that you are having a general misunderstand about LV memory management. I think that your comments refer to the data space LV has allocated for the table, this has nothing to do with the DLL itself said!

  LV works memory about conservative. So if you allocated a data space, execution of a new of the same VI will try to reuse this dataspace. So the tables are not released if the VI will slow.

  That being said, the table itself will not reduce its size.

  The only question I have on this: you still have all the available values? If the new call returns the three values (out of 33), is the rest 30 items "the old value"?

  For ANSI C dll - it is common that the DLL also returns a scalar value "arraysize". If you got that, you can use the Array subset function to retrieve valid values.

  I am running Windows 7 on this computer. I'm only under Firefox (without Add-ons) that runs one leg with flash. The flash seems to be stifled because there is not enough free memory.

  According to the Windows Task Manager, Firefox uses 213 MB (size of validation is 240 MB). The flash player plugin uses 127 MB (size of validation is 217 MB).

  Yet, in the Windows Task Manager, I see the following for physical memory:

  • Total - 3327
  • Cache - 1419
  • Available - 1391
  • Free - 1

  I think the problem is that so much memory is cached, but I don't know. However, I think a machine with 4 GB of RAM should easily run a single tab with flash...

  May sound like a stupid question, but are you sure that you are using Oracle 64-bit? The OS is 64-bit and SHM kernel parameters appear to be configured correctly, but there is this 3.6 GB limit is for 32-bit applications, which makes me wonder...

  Create a new Folders.dbx.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  Our database is Oracle 9.0.1 in Windows 2003. Our total session is about 200. Our server is a dedicated server.
  RAM - 6 GB. Oracle can use up to 2 GB in 32-bit Windows. The memory configuration is like this:

  There is no pga_aggregate_target in our database. Our Setup works for more than 200 users?
  
  Our database server is running in the replicated environment. Most of the time we get 'process' out of memory ' error. This error is in the replicate site. Error is like this:

  If you need more PGA Tour then, you can lower the SGA (e.g. buffer cache) but it will affect performance.

  The * / 3 GB * parameter can help, but the best is to go to a * 64-bit server * (and if possible to support
  release of Oracle). So that you can overcome the limit of 2 GB (or 3 GB) process.

  Someone had helped me earlier here regarding opens a binary file and write the data to a text file. I modified it a bit, and for smaller files (for example those included in the zip file), it works fine. However, I have a LOT of 120 MB of binary files (Yes, they are great) I need to convert to text files and LabVIEW is short-term memory. I watched it in the help files, and I tried some of the suggestions (as a Subvi) since the files help, but whenever I find myself with LabVIEW short of money (see bmp files in the zip file).

  I tried running only LabVIEW to try to allow her to have a lot of memory possible, but this does not help unfortunately.

If the file contains 3600 files, then say things to read 3600 records at the time just does exactly the same thing as what you had before with the - 1 wired to the count. -1 indicates the function to read all records. This is precisely what you don't want to. You want to read a limited number of records at a time. To do this in a loop until you have read all the records.

  You don't want to open the file each time through the loop. You want to read it inside the loop since it is that you do repeatedly.

  This has nothing to do with LabVIEW. It is the basis of the principles of programming.

  Please see example attached to how you can do it. Note that I used the code to create filename based on the first timestamp. Since you are reading the data into segments, you don't want to change the name of the file on the way as the timestamp may change.
