out of use form mail script

I have a page of e-mail form which works fine. It is hosted by godaddy.

The problem I have is when I received the email that all the fields are NOT in the same order that they are on the Web page.
According to GoDaddy, they will be in alphabetical order.

States of GoDaddy help page:
NOTE: Don't forget that our form Mailing script sort alphabetically the names of your form elements when he composed the e-mail message. This is the order of precedence: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, letters.

Here is my code to the page:

I'll be in receipt of the e-mail on the blackberry so I really need them in the order I put then in on the page as it will be too difficult to make sense otherwise.

Please help if you can.

Thank you :-)

suggestion use another script that allows you to set the agenda.

suggestion two, using the godaddy script - rename names of form/ID field of
These fields so they will come in any order you like, AFTER sorting by the
script.

3 - do not use spaces in the field names or ID.

aa_my_first_field
ba_the_name_i_want_second
ca_broker_phone_i_want_third

using two letters in the prefix allows you to insert a new field between
existing fields later as bb_this_is_now_third

    I just realized that you do not receive my answers if I do not post them directly on the forum.

    Unfortunately, you're well above my pay grade... I'm more or less an amateur in Dreamweaver. I thought (probably wrongly) that there is a "quick fix" to the shape that I already have, but because you sent the startup code, I placed and worked with her a little.

    It seems fairly easy to work, and I'll try to spend time in the coming days to learn a little before I try to do something more.

    Thank you very much and very much appreciated...

  • Form mail Script

    I need the code to send a form to my cgi - bin to my hosting company. I can do HTML, but I would do it in flash. I have everything I need, except the appropriate code for hidden files which redirect the fields in the form to my email address.

    See the excerpt below...

    If (name_txt.text! = "" & & email_txt.text! = "" & & comments_txt.text! = "")
    {
    my_lv. Send (" http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl", "_blank", "POST");
    "help here" //INPUT TYPE = "hidden" NAME = "recipient" VALUE = "[email protected]".
    "help here" TYPE = "hidden" NAME = "the subject" //INPUT VALUE = "Title of the Email"
    gotoAndStop ("_success");
    }
    on the other
    {
    gotoAndStop ("_failure");
    }
    }

    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Thank you! I really saw that one. Sometimes, an extra set of eyes can see what is obvious. I really appreciate it.

    Hi Graham,

    If you, please add your site to this link ( http://my-site.com/scripts/form_check.php ) and make sure that all green checkmarks are appearing. If they don't, let us know what errors you seem to receive and include the link to your site.

  • Form fill will not fill out only certain e-mail address

    I use Yahoo mail. We had to remove the email address from the list of passwords due to a change of password. Since removal, fill in form of Firefox will work with all my email addresses, with the exception of one whose original password has been deleted.

    If the problem is to register a new name and a password for Yahoo check this:

    The Web of Yahoo site uses autocomplete = off to prevent registration of data in form as the name and password of Firefox.

    You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox to store data of form such as names and passwords.

    Note that Firefox doesn't form data automatically populate automatically saved when autocomplete = off is used, you must double-click the empty name field for a drop-down list.

    Alternatively, you can right click on the entry name field and open the Inspector integrated via the item to inspect.

    You can see if there is an autocomplete = off attribute and click on the "off" text to change this value and change it to 'off' to 'on', so that you get autocomplete = 'on '.

    Repeat this for the password input field, so that the two fields have an autocomplete = "on" attribute.

  • Use the same script in different areas?

    Is it possible to use the same script in different areas?

    I had several scripts that will validate and modify the entries in the user on different areas. Since they do exactly the same thing, is it not possible to just get out the 'real' on a field script and refer to other fields to this script?

    Of course - we have a fragment of 'commonScriptObjects.xdp' that we all have

    our common methods of javascript in.  Then we add to the form and hide it.

    then use the following reference to point to the script object:

    GET A HANDLE TO THE SCRIPT OBJECT

    var commonScript =

    xfa.resolveNode ("commonScriptObjectsFrag.fragmentScript");

    CALL A JAVASCRIPT METHOD IN THE SCRIPT OBJECT

    commonScript.setupSearch ();

    Here's something else you can do to validate our mandatory fields.  We spend in

    the real to validate field and the name of the field as a text string:

    If (! commonScript.validateRequired (mainContentSubform.customerName,)

    False return 'Customer'));

    and the validateRequired method, which is in our commonScriptObject xdp

    file, looks like this:

    validate required fields

    function validateRequired (oField, fieldName) {}

    Console.println ("enter validateRequired");

    var commonScript =

    xfa.resolveNode ("commonScriptObjectsFrag.fragmentScript");

    If (commonScript.isNullValue (oField.rawValue))

    {

    xfa.host.messageBox ("Please fill out the '" + fieldName +)

    ("' field.", "Error", 3);

    xfa.host.setFocus (oField);

    Returns false;

    }

    Returns true;

    }

    Hope that helps,

    Elaine

  • Looking for hosting companies with web form processing scripts

    I'm a beginner when it comes to creating web pages.  I have created a website for the first time and am looking for a Web host that can provide the form processing scripts.  I'll try HostGator, but when I asked about it on their online chat, the lady who answered said that they do not have what I was looking for.  Due to technical difficulties with their online chat program, I don't have a chance to ask follow-up questions, but I had the impression that the Lady, that I was talking knew what she was talking about.

    I would ask here.  It is my understanding that if you have forms on your website, you need form processing scripts to run.  Can you name of hosts which can give them?  Is this something that most web hosting companies can normally provide?  Are there any that you would recommend for someone like me who will use forms on their web site?

    I think your priorities for web hosting should be based on other more important criteria - availability, services, space and affordability.

    Canned scripts are a secondary issue.  Practice for beginners, Yes.  But generally UN os without any room for customization.

    Not my favorite web host, GoDaddy shared Linux Web & map of classic accommodation offers 2 PHP scripts for forms of contact only.

    With the help of our shippers of PHP on the Web & hosting classic form. Web & classic accommodation - GoDaddy help

    • Dedicated IP address

  • Is there any type of application that would let someone fill out a short form and upload photos?

    Is there any type of application that would let someone fill out a short form and upload photos? We will launch a campaign to try to collect pictures of the application, and I would like to send contacts to a place where they can fill in their information and upload their photos to the application. Any ideas?

    Sorry for the delay in responding. Right now, we use WooBox to launch a contest for 80 business units. Launch page that we use the HTML code of the WooBox to have one "like Gate.  That means, users must like our page before voting on the contest. WooBox will also give you the ability to export the users once your contest is over. You can download the file in Eloqua and synchronize contacts by e-mail. I hope this helps.

  • this.getField error in app. Mail script

    I have problems with an application. Script to mail that I created in the form of life cycle.  If I place a this.getField ("field_name") line in the script debugger Acrobat Javascript says the this.getField is not a function.  This.path line also returns as not defined in the body of the e-mail message if bypass this.getField line.  Perhaps, I mix up to script Javascript and scripts of life cycle?  If yes what should be changed for life cycle?  I know the app.mail script works without the lines of the var, but once I have add those is when problems arise.  Script below.  Thank you!

    var cMyMsg = this.path

    var Sub = this.getField("Field_Name").value;

    app.mailMsg ({bUI: true, cTo: "[email protected], bassujetti: Sub, CMSG: cMyMsg"});

    Hello

    The script is written using Acrobat JavaScript, while working in LiveCycle Designer, you should do the script compatible with LiveCycle Designer JavaScript form.

    The code can be replaced by what works in LiveCycle Designer

    var cMyMsg = event.target.path

    Assuming that the Field_Name field lies in the subform as well as the button to run the code

    var Sub = Field_Name.rawValue;

    app.mailMsg ({bUI: true, cTo: "[email protected]", bassujetti: Sub, CMSG: cMyMsg});

    Hope this helps

  • Form Mail CGI

    I have applications on two sites where I use a mail form CGI - bin script to allow a user to enter contact information and send. It works fine, but I wonder if there is an easier method than what I am doing. I now have the e-mail info form directly on my server in domain and it then here to a private e-mail address.

    With the CGI form mail, is it possible to simply direct the form data to a private e-mail address, or should it go on the first domain server?

    Tom

    You can send it to any address you like. Some hosts, such as GoDaddy, require you to maintain a list of addresses, your forms can send to, to eliminate the potential problems of spam relay.

    If it remains in the Outbox, it has NOT been sent.
    Are you sure that it is in the Outbox? Please open out-box and check.

    Issues related to the:
    1 have you send before it happened?
    2. this e-mail that fails to be sent, it contains an attachment?
    3. If so, what would the attachment in terms of KB or MB?
    Please post back with the answers to these questions.

    During this time, suggestions:
    1. go to the Outbox and delete the stuck email. You are successful in doing that?
    2. send a test message to yourself. If it fails, do you you have an error message. Please post this message in its ENTIRETY.
    Hide e-mail address but leave anything out.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to configure and use e-mail without BES

    Hello

    I'm trying to figure How to configure and use e-mail without using a BES.

    I checked with the local telephone company. And the number is not ascociated with any service of BES.

    The entry of services show no indication in this sense.

    In addition, the configuration of SIM card show that everything is disabled. This means that the phone is unlocked. At least that is my understanding.

    However, even after a wipe, the BB device does not set up an e-mail account, as described in the manual. He keeps asking for a BES activation first.

    What will do that disappears?

    And to allow the configuration of the "spam"?

    Just develop the right answer given by JSanders, you can always access your email accounts and social networks (facebook, twitter, google +, etc) on your phone, you will just have no notifications PUSHED to your phone.  You can access the internet on your phone in order to access these accounts, but it should go to them.  With BlackBerry Internet Service activated on your phone account, RIM will push these notifications of new emails, facebook messages, new tweets etc. for your phone.  That's what you'll be missing out on without active BIS.

    I wanted to just make sure that there is no likelihood of confusion.

  • I use Live mail all the time, but today I could receive emails and could not send email. I get this error 0X800CCC0E.

    I use live mail and Comcast as my ISP.
    Out of the blue I can receive emails, but when I try and send emails I get this error.

    error 0X800CCC0E.

    Comcast is no longer supported the use of port 25 for SMTP. Please follow the instructions on this page to apply the recommended settings: to reconfigure your Windows Live Mail client to use SSL instead of port 25

    After, click work offline and delete all messages pending from the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane). Then close WLMail and wait a few minutes before resuming. Compose a new message to test and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.
