Outgoing e-mail errors
Configure a POP3 Outlook account on my pre. Both incoming and outgoing server information is the same. No encryption. I receive mail fine. I can't send a new one or meet a Navy. Coming out of mistakes.
Any suggestions?
Problem solved - automajiclally! After three hours in a Sprint store and another two hours. I decided to delete all e-mail accounts and try again. Did not work the first time, but after the third attempt a manual email setup, it finally worked.
For people using a system of site and email hosted Solutions Network: the Palm Pre set up is
POP3
Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.com (uses the same as incomming connection)
No encryption.
Now, on another problem that can never be solved... sync calendar and contacts without an exchange server.

I can't send an email and when I try this, it goes into the Outbox. Also, I got an error message:
Cannot send Mail, the operation could not be completed. (MCMailErrorDomain error 1032.) When I go to the email preferences under account information, the server of outgoing (SMTP) mail shows Centurylong (offline). Any ideas how to remedy this situation and be able to send mail again. iCloud mail are not sent or the other (same as above e-mail server).
Earlier, before all that happened, a message popped up on my home screen to enter my password of Qwest system preferences/accounts. I did, but nothing happened.

setting up outgoing e-mail profile
Hello
I am configuring a new outgoing e-mail profile to use for the scan on my HP 8600 using a gmail account.
I keep getting "Incorrect credentials" when I test the configuration (my credentials are correct). I tried different ports and turn on and off Alternatively the "SMTP server requires authentication for outgoing messages. Still the same error.
Help!
Hello help_me_please9,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!I understand that you are having problems of configuration scanning to E-mail, I have a suggestion that may be useful for you. Gmail as a two-step verification within their e-mail settings that allows you to secure your account. Try to disable this, so active and see if then allows you the configuration of the scan to e-mail.
- Sign in to your Gmail email account.
- Click on the e-mail or the icon to the right and then to account.
- Click Security.
- Under permissions for account > access to less secure applications, click settings.
- Activate and click done.
- Re-run an analysis of the configuration of e-mail.
Let me know if it helps.

WIndows Live Mail error 554 0x800CCC79
My father has just recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7. He can not send emails to anyone other than addresses on the same domain "telus.net" 554 Relay access denied error. He can receive e-mail. I spoke with PSI & they have recorded in a verified Live Mail is correctly configured. I searched the internet for solutions and have tried a number of suggestions:
- Delete & recreate his account of email 4 times. Still does not work
- Checked & unchecked outgoing e-mail server requires authenitcation - does not work
- Change the outgoing mail port number - does not work
- Disable Norton - does not work
The incoming mail server is pop.telus.net
Outgoing mail server is smtp.telus.net
Outgoing e-mail server requires authentication according to ISP
Outgoing mail port is 25
Incoming mail port is 110
The only other thing I've heard is that there may be a problem with Norton. I turned it off & it still does not, but I have not uninstalled because I don't know if it has the original disc to reinstall if need be.
Any help would be appreciated

Vista window Mail & Windows Live Mail both give me the same error:
Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F

Socket error: 10053If the mail is just text, it passes generally through. A small accessory (60KO ' ish) sometimes sends. A greater attachment always generates the error message
I disabled the scan to email from my AV, both for incoming & outgoing messages. It is AVG Free Edition, Ver.8.0.169.
My ISP tech support says that my setup is correct; that the problem must be a bug in my email client... "call", they say... It was at their suggestion I went from WM to WLM. The problems all seem to have begun when the IAF spent my connection DSL of the CAPM method (using a Cisco 675 modem) mode DMT (with a Westell 6100 modem). (does anyone know what I just said, there?...) I don't have!)
.. .anybody have ideas? I am open to any suggestions at this point.

So Windows XP you pretty much has the same result as Vista, regarding the sending of attachments. To exclude the server as being the cause of the problem, you should try another server. Get a free account with Gmail, which will allow
you try their server smtp.gmail.com.

Hi me again,.
You may need to change the settings of your incoming and outgoing settings.
Open your e-mail program > tools > accounts > your bizmail account > properties > servers, under outgoing mail server, check "this server requires authentication" > apply > advanced, under outgoing (SMTP) mail change to 465 not 25. Put a check mark on "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)" > under incoming (POP3) mail, change it to 995 no 110. Put a check mark on "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)" > OK
I would like to know the result of this step.

Windows Live Mail error number: 0x800CCC0F - beneficiary account an e-mail
I have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, 32-Bit. I use Windows Live Mail and it worked for 2 years with no problems. I use Windows Live Mail to recover emails from 4 e-mail accounts. The first 3 accounts working again (both Pop3 and an IMAP) - send and receive. It errors on the recovery of emails on the fourth count (Juno.com) and won't send or receive.
The error that says: "Cannot send or receive messages on behalf of Juno." Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. ' Server: 'pop.juno.com' Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol: POP3 Port: 995 secure (SSL): Yes " sometimes, the Windows Security window displays first, asking 'Please verify that the user name and the password are correct for your mail server' with user name and password. Then I'm stuck in a vicious circle of this.Troubleshooting:I deleted my Juno e-mail account and recreated. I disabled the antivirus and firewall, the same problem. Juno Tech Support tried having me change many parameters, including the outgoing 'smtp.juno.com' "authsmtp.juno.com" mail server, different port numbers, turned on/turned off authentication and SSL for both incoming and outgoing... they said they got me all try and they can't help me. And it has worked for years. As a solution, I could get my Juno emails sent to my address (Gmail) IMAP, which then channels it in my Windows Live Mail, but I can't use filters to sort the mail coming this way, and it's just a waste. HELP Please? This takes about 5 months.Hello

It was fine a couple of days, when I last sent an email, but since yesterday I can not send and get the following message.
An unknown error has occurred.
Subject 'test '.
Server: 'mailhost.zen.co.uk '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0B
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure (SSL): No.You have a configured antivirus program to analyze the messages, including outgoing mail? It is the main causes of problems sending, so it is best to remove it from the environment. Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without any lscanning may feature. You can also open a command prompt window and see if you can connect to the server and the port you are trying to use.
C:\ > telnet mailhost.zen.co.uk 25
[Ctrl +] followed by 'Quit' you will get if the connection is successful.
Have you talked with Zen people? Have you read their installation instructions? http://www.zensupport.co.UK/Knowledgebase/article.aspx?ID=10657

I get some Emails OK. but get Windows Live Mail error ID: 0X800C0014. so I can't send messages.
Check with the e-mail provider. You have probably not all the correct settings. It is likely to be the outgoing port number.

Impossible to send e-mail, Live mail error ox800CCC0e
I can receive but not send email in Live Mail. I get the Live Mail error 0x800CCC0e and socket 10013 error code. My ISP is Comcast and I can send and receive to Comcast.net. I contacted Comcast and they say that all is well in respect to my connections and referred me to Microsoft. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I contacted Comcast and they say that everything is fine regarding my connections...
Did also tell you that your settings were outdated and give you good?
It is difficult to be certain of your problem without seeing the full error message, but a reasoned guess says that you are still using port 25 for SMTP even if Comcast not have support for at least a year. Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. On the servers tab, select my server requires authentication. On the Advanced tab, change the port to 587 outgoing mail server.
Delete all messages waiting for the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane), then dial a new test message with a single topic and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.

Yet an another Windows Live Mail error 0x800CCC0F
On Windows 7, WLM, AVG with e-mail, scanning disabled, it's a continuous but intermittent problem. Sometimes I can get it without any problem, sometimes, I get the error 5 times or more in a row, then magically, it works.
I tried the other steps like checking the boxes on the right on the Advanced tab, no difference. Sometimes I have two error messages, but it seems to be the most common:
