Outlet vs hearts
When you create a new virtual machine, is there a difference between the number of sockets vs of the choice of the number of cores? There must be, otherwise they were put there as an option...
The option is really for applications and licenses, such as SQL, which are approved by the socket. In most cases you would always just use the number of sockets required and choose 1 core.

Correct allocation of resources to VM CPU with hyperthreading VCPU ESXI 5.5
Hello
I've read various articles on trying to size of the allocation of CPU for virtual machines and performance of subjects with overcommitting, but still can't seem to find a definitive answer with hyper threading involved for this particular configuration and hoped that someone could clarify for me.
Example 1 - Exchange Server 2010
1 x 6 Core Processor (12 logic with hyper threading)
There are currently 1 socket and 6 hearts are attributed to him on a possible 12.
There is only 1 virtual machine running on the server. I would benefit from an increase in the nuclei of one of the following:
1 outlet, 12 hearts
6 sockets, 1 core
12 Sockets, 1 core
any other configuration?
Example 2 - server has 2 x 6 Core processors with Hyper threading enabled. (12 cores, 24 logic)
I want to attribute 2 physical cores to VM1, VM2 4 physical hearts and 6 physical cores to VM3
Who would do the following:
VM1 - 1 taken, 2 hearts VM2 - 1 socket, 4 cores VM3 - carrots 1 Socket 6
VM1 - 1 socket, 4 core VM2 - 1 socket, 8 cores VM3 - 12 hearts 1 socket
VM1 - 2 taken, 1 core VM2 - 2 Sockets, Sockets 4 hearts 2 VM3, 6 cores
VM1 - 2 taken, 2 hearts VM2 - 2 taken, 8 cores VM3 - 2 taken, 12 hearts
VM1 - 2 taken, 1 taken VM2 - 4 kernel, 1 core VM3 - 6 sockets, 1 core
VM1 - 4 taken, 1 core VM2 - 8 Sockets, 1 core VM3 - 12 Sockets, 1 core
any other configuration?
No, you can allocate more vCPU you have. what you said it is fine. I usually go for a ratio of 6: 1. for example, with 12 cores, we have up to 72 vCPUS (it's all compared to the workload type and the size of the virtual machine through)
I said that you never allocate a unique virtual machine more than the physical cores as the guest on the virtual machine OS think there full hearts to play with no hyper threaded no carrots...
But hyper threading can give use better ability to commit the resources of the processor because it intelligently uses the additional threads when the performance will not be affected. as long as all virtual machines will not work 100%, then you can add more with no real impact. If you have listed these 3 VMs had to use 100% each you'd be using 100% CPU host not 50%. never use logical cores when it comes to calculations of ability only physical cores
See you soon

Why not DC use multi hearts to OCR multiple pages at the same time?
My only use for acrobat is scanning to PDF. Since the processors of today have 4 cores or more, why is it not possible to OCR multi-core? Scanning and OCR of 500 pages is extremely slow, I don't see why each kernel cannot make a page at the same time perhaps then he could cope with the scanning speed.
I have 4 hearts and 16 GB of ram under DC win10 and it is as slow as my machine AMD Athlon dual core that was running XI under win7 and I would say the same thing as version 9 in xp.
Whenever I've updated, I expect improved performance to find only "features" that are of little use to me and no speed or observable performance improvement.
When can I expect this ability to be integrated with acrobat?
Greg,
Adobe technical support cannot help you with this. They support the existing features and are not an outlet to provide improvements to software applications. Sorry!
You should take the above suggestion was offered to make a feature request at: feature request/Bug Report Form
Frankly, the current capacity of OCR in Acrobat is not designed for industrial power, such as 500 + documents scanned page work. The OCR function will need to be substantially updated to be a multithreaded and use multiple cores. It would also probably a version of Acrobat 64-bit Windows due to OCR address space requirements.
In the meantime, if your document management needs include large amounts of work OCR PDF files, make you want to explore third-party solutions, stand alone or even Acrobat plug-ins server programs that can meet your requirements.

In 2008, I studied the heart rate, swimming speed and the time relationship developed software to assess the effects of the training. At that time, we needed a HR-band, a receiver and sensors to record the lap time. It is now all integrated into the new Apple Watch. So, I just want to have access to the times and HR to see if I can resurrect the MatLab routines...
What I need is access to the times and human resource records. (I hope they have a timestamp, so I can sync the two).
Question:
How can you get access to registered swimming times and recorded heart rate?
I thought it was possible health app (iOS9) but I can't find the option to export in iOS10?
Tips appreciated... Thanks in advance.
For any consultation on iOS 9, in the application of health tap data on health > all, which has an icon of the top export which saves files xml inside a zip archive. This is perhaps similar to iOS 10?
P.S. I read that on the Apple Watch heart rate data were inaccurate, while swimming so let us know if you have good data about him.

Hours of permanent reminder and heart rate monitor
Hello. I had already updated the Apple Watch 1. Watch generation OS. 3 everything was OK. With the iPhone change 7 I have problems of size.
The memory of the hours of stands is no longer works.
The heart rate during the Trinings works only partially.
The active cal are not partially counted.
When I pick up the clock briefly during the workouts or so to invest again, the pulse measurement works again and display generated calories.
Does anyone have any idea why this may be?Hello
The following steps may help:
- On your iPhone in the app shows, go to: Watch My > General > detection of wrist - make sure it's open.
- On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > privacy > Motion & Fitness - is Fitness Tracking off.
- Restart both devices in two turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first:
- Return to fitness tracking configuration and turn it back on.

How to put in the front of the watch during swimming to see heart rate
Received the Watch 2 day and taken for a swim practice in the pool (of course)
happly to see enough faithfully has towers and gives average heart rate but only AFTER training
I wanted to 4000 m (and I fact..) but from the exercise the watch when asked for the total calories to burn.
QUESTION 1: how to set the distance (rather than calories)? At the start of the year?
While the dial of the watch training appeared when out of the water and gave the number of laps, total distance, total time of exercise and calories burned.
QUESTION 2: you can change the information presented during the swim to see heart rate? (Rather than the number of Calories predictable)?
NOTE
For swimming training, the watch is a bit disappointing, given that in the swimming training, you normally do a few repetitions as 10 x 100 start each 01:30 or 01:45. I normally use the watch of Garmin swimming to take the time (100 m start button and press again on arrival) of the clock, then briefly shows duration of the tour and afte 4 continuous seconds so you can see when you start again (e.g. to 01:45). I hope that there will be a third-party solution soon for Apple Watch 2, while I don't have to swim with two watches...
Hello
1. After selecting the length of the pool, slide laterally on the screen to move to a distance goal, which can be set in meters or yards (firmly press the screen to switch between them).
2. follow the following steps to customize the information displayed by the application of training during your workouts in the pool swimming:
- On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > training > training view.
- Choose several metrics.
- Tap pool swim > press on edit (top-right) > select up to 5 parameters, including heart rate (they can be arranged in your order of preference).
- When you are finished, tap on Done (top right).

App for Apple Watch series 2 allow the use of heart rate, gps, and manual splits?
I run about 60 miles per week and I plan to change my Garmin Forerunner 620 for a series 2. However, it would be totally useless to me if the watch does not intermediaries, as many of my workouts are pretty accurate. So, is it possible for me to intermediaries on the watch, and when looking at the splits also see the GPS info and heart rate for the said stock split?
Hello
To mark a segment (for example one lap) during running exercise using integrated workout app, you can double-click the screen. The display briefly shows the stats for this segment. Segments can be examined after training through the activity on the matched iPhone application:
You can see that an application of third party best suited to your needs.
To learn about the characteristics of third-party applications, I suggest you consult the descriptions of app developers and their support resources. For example:
- Runmeter:
- My race card:
- Strava:
- Nike + running Club:
If you don't find the specific information you're looking for, you can ask the developer directly. This is usually possible through their support resources (you may need to create a free account in order to be able to connect). They may also be open to feature requests.

Apple Watch: How can I get my heart rate to show the application of fitness?
If I use the fitness app in shape and choose 'Other' for my workout, it shows my heart rate. But if I select 'Run in the open air' or "Walk in the open air" it does not show it. Is there a way to get my heart rate visible without having to leave the app to fitness and pull up on the application of the heart rate? It should be possible as the option 'Other' discount-shaped poster. I was hoping that the new update would automatically as in, but alas, it isn't. My quest for this question has resulted in answers for original 2015 watch/OS so I wanted to ask you again see if something has changed with the new series 2 and the latest OS.
I'm looking for an alarm function on the Apple Watch who notify me if my heart rate exceeds a certain level. This could be from the BONE, or a 3rd party application that runs on the watch (and he can't function without my phone). It looks like such a feature useful for physical training and medical emergencies that I would not be surprised that someone has not implemented it. but my research has not given anything whatsoever.
Hello
Heart rate alerts are not currently available as built-in iOS or watch OS feature.
Also note that Apple Watch, heart rate sensor and the apps included Apple Watch are not medical devices and are intended solely for purposes of fitness. They are not designed or intended to be used in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or to cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of the disease.
You can find the application third-party following (for example) of interest:
- HeartWatch
- The developer recommends:
- "NOTICE: you can set up notifications for the following scenarios: what heart rate exceeds a value of bpm, when heart rate is less than a value bpm."
- "NOTE: because your health is encrypted, store iPhone notifications only available when your iPhone is unlocked." This occurs in the background when you use your iPhone in an unlocked condition for any purpose, so in practice, you will be alerted as long as you regularly use your iPhone. »

Does anyone know if you can pair Bluetooth headset at the same time and heart rate monitor strap chest Bluetooth with the Apple Watch series 2? I can't find any info about it online. I hope so, because they have everything works without your phone now since it has GPS. Obviously a chest strap heart rate monitor gives you a more accurate reading. And who is running without music? If they want to really all the new capabilities of fitness improved series 2, that this is a must!
The original WATCH allows you to do this, so I don't see why the series 2 would not.

Human resources management stops when I raise the heart rate
I'm not talking exercise here, but something like mow the lawn. When the level of my heart going up to maybe 60% of my max (just above), my Apple Watch stops just save my heart rate. When I sit back it starts again.
If I'm actually exercise using the app it works well
What gives?
Hello
In General everyday wear, Apple Watch is designed to measure your heart rate regularly only when you're still / no active - it is normal for the readings not to take when you are active.
When recording a workout through the training app, your heart rate is rather measured continuously.
