(1) can not find the drivers for my Win 7 32 bit Ultimate (legal, unpirated)- but others found with device manufacturers

(2) I think it's maybe a BIOS problem, but I find no way on the site of HP to upgrade.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for help you, but it took the following for repair: 1) win 7 64 bit 2) use to reload the drivers for 'Hp pavilion 15-e016TU + 8 64 bits win7 readers' I certainly didn't use the 64-bit operating system, but it seems that I am stuck. I have this post to help others who may have the same problem - sadhu!

My son has this laptop and he tries to upgrade using an msata. This has been installed in the slot msata, but from the start, the BIOS laptop does not recognise andboots off the portable drive 2.5 inch (also a SSD). On enter in Windows 8, Disk Manager does not see the drive. I can only conclude that the BIOS has not considered or the other.

In an article without report, we noticed that the BIOS does not recognize the wifi cards much either, but I'm not concerned about it at the moment. Just want the problem of msata. I mean what would the e point of having an msata slot if you could not use it right?

    Hello

This site is NOT for an mSATA SSD. It's a location miniPCIe for a TV tuner. I saw some people modding the BIOS, it could be used as a slot mSATA, but I don't think it would work on your laptop. The only successful modding has been reported on some HP ENVY 15-3000 with generation processors Intel first. However, I can help you with the list of authorization for incompatible wifi. That can be removed and users can use any wireless card they want.

  • 2.60 BIOS does not work on the Satellite A200 - 22 c

    Hi all

I made the mistake to Flash my old bios Satellite A200 - 22 c (PSAE6E) to the new version 2.60.

As I did this, the keyboard does not work on the bios screen, so I am unable to manage anything in the BIOS.

When Windows Vista 32B starts the first time, the keyboard does not work. If I close the session and then I it again, it works correctly.

The touchpad is lost and I need to use a USB mouse. Is not a pilot cause problem, all the drivers are updated and are working properly.

The question is: why Toshiba didn't allow users to download the old version of the BIOS? ¿WHERE or who do I contact to get the original BIOS? Why do the flashing utility make a backup of the OLD BIOS and then does not give you the ability to recover it?

Please, help me to recover the original BIOS to retrieve my keyboard and my touchpad because I can´t find any message or anything like that to get in touch with the technical support of this web site.

    Thank you!

    Which version was old BIOS?

By the way: you can contact Toshiba. They have access to the Archives of BIOS and they can provide you with older version of BIOS.

  • Satellite A210 - BIOS does not work after upgrade

    Hello

I have a satellite A210-17 for a few years now, but I made the mistake to go to the Microsoft Web site
to make a BIOS setting to day and once I installed upgrading BIOS, that the laptop did not return ever on, black screen.

I brought a guy in the month city 3 or 4 he is, he said, it could replace a bios chip if necessary
but did nothing or I would have heard of him now.

Is it possible that I can get the bios chip and have him install for me?
I don't have 200 euros to replace the whole motherboard.

This laptop was brilliant before that.

    Thanks in advance

Update the BIOS is a very serious procedure, and the use of fake and not compatible BIOS would damage the motherboard.

To be honest, I don t think that the replacement of the EPROM would help you that of course, the BIOS is stored on EPROM module but in most cases this chip is soldered to the motherboard and the EPROM replacement will not be easy

To my knowledge the EPROM module could be flashed once more using the crisis disk BIOS and the special procedure. Usually, these updates of the crisis of the BIOS can be done by maintainer authorized Toshiba and that don t require the replacement of the EPROM module.

I also read in this forum that some guy tried to Flash the EPROM module to clean hands in some cases, it worked, but in different cases such update does not work correctly

However, I recommend you to use the advanced search option forum and check a few different discussions on crisis disk BIOS / update

Otherwise I recommend you contact the Toshiba ASP in your country and products BIOS Update of the crisis

A version of HP 8 BIOS is not available for your PC.  You will need to get a graphics inherited as a NVIDIA GTX 4xx, 5xx or 6xx. The NVIDIA GTX 660 TI is your best choice. I suggest you also improve the power supply to a 600-650 watt as the Corsair CX600 or CS650m model.

  • Recently installed Windows 7 on Pavilion dv6748us - internal microphone does not work

I searched on the web, without success, to find how to solve this problem.

I recently installed Windows 7, 32 bit, on laptop HP Pavilion dv6748us to my wife. Now its internal microphone does not work.

Have got some advice "roadside" use a Windows Vista driver; Have no idea what is the driver or how to get it.

Have found information about uninstalling driver realtek audio and reinstall an earlier version; Have no idea about it no more.

Would appreciate an answer with a positive result.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello:

Looking at your system information, you may have one of two possible audio cards:

Conexant HD audio or the RealTek HD Audio

The fact that you could not install the RealTek HD audio driver tells me that you don't have a sound card RealTek. Check your device manager and look at your sound card and check what sound card you have.

Here are the Vista 32 bit driver for the Conexant sound card:

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3632100&prodNameId=3648286&swEnvOID=2093&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-63949-1

Here are the Vista 32 bit driver for the Realtek sound card:

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3632100&prodNameId=3648286&swEnvOID=2093&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-59516-1

If you have the Realtek audio card, I would download and install the driver of more recent, HD directly from RealTek site:

Accept the agreement, download and install one on the list. Maybe it has been updated to solve the problem you are experiencing.

  • HP Pavilion dv8210us sound card does not work.

Computer p/n ET831UA #ABA came with WIN XP Home Edition.  Designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista Capable label States.  I formatted the hard drive and loaded Windows Vista Business 64-bit.  I downloaded and installed all the drivers that have been recommended by HP, but my sound and Audio does not work.  Doesn't my mass storage controller or my PCI Modem.  All were working with WIN XP.  Need help on how to do all this work.

    Hello:

Mass storage controller needs this driver...

    http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=1847704&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3Didx%253D%257CswItem%253Dob_70996_1%257CswEnvOID%253D2103%257CitemLocale%253D%257CswLang%253D%257Cmode%253D%257Caction%253DdriverDocument&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

But it's the only, you will be able to work as there are no 64-bit drivers for the audio or modem.

While the processor may be 64-bit capable, some other material is not.

Not to mention that your laptop can take up to 2 GB of memory, a 64-bit operating system will work worse than a 32 bit OS with only 2 GB of memory.

64-bit operating systems require more memory and disk space to run the 32-bit operating system only.

    Not double, but more.

My recommendation if you can install Vista 32 bit would be that you can use the drivers on your laptop support and the driver page.

  • Tecra A10 - update the BIOS does not work on Windows 7

Upgrade the BIOS for TECRA A10/M10 and Satellite Pro S300/S300M to v1.90 version using P0065v190.exe (bios 20090304141534) fails with the message:

"The [error] BIOS update is not taken in charge of operating system. No support for operating system or service pack is installed. »

Note: Running as Administrator returns the same error.

Probably Windows 7 only is not supported but, it must be explicit protection since the release of Vista should work in 7. There is no update setting to jump this protection?

BIOS update is designed and tested for some OS. Win7 is not on the market and now Toshiba offers tested BIOS updated for Vista only.
Sorry, but what else to say. You probably know how supposed BIOS updated and it can be dangerous. So do not play with this and do not untested experimenting with such things.

Win7 will be placed on the market in a few months and Toshiba will start a public support. You can wait a few weeks isn't it?
