Outline and overview

Good afternoon

Just started my first lesson in Adobe Illustrator CS6 Classroom In A Book.  Already blocked!  I'm working on a book.  I've done various forms I see

on the preview.  However, when I came to make a circle and copy it, I went through the steps but the shape does not copy just moved... the after much research

I discovered that there are guidelines.  Now I can see the shape copied on the outline but not the preview display?  Can someone help me, I want to see all the steps I take in the preview.

I've attached a screen shot of two that could help explain the above.  I'm afraid I don't really understand what I do, my explanation could be blurred!

Thanks for any help.Screen Shot Outline.pngScreen Shot Preview.png

The missing shape has the Fill set to None and a race very very skinny (.25 pt). Select it in map mode, return to the preview and change the thickness of line on the left side of the control panel.

Edit: (I need coffee). It is also in the back? Object > arrange > bring to front.

  • Can I export Essbase outline and import the schema?

    I want to export Essbase to an Essbase outline and then import the plan to another server to Essbase. Can I do this? It is very complicated?

    If you want to migrate all of the cube, you could just copy the file .otl from one server to another. If you want to dimension by dimension, you can use the puller contour available at applied olap, or maybe ODI or the outline of the Star Analytics extraction tool. Versions of the first and the third are available free of charge through the genorosity of these companies

  • How to shape outline and background alias?

    First of all, I hope that I am not flooding the boards with questions. In Photoshop, I realized that the shape tool is divided into three favorite styles - shape, Path, and Pixels. In the form, I can change the stroke and fill but not alias it. In Pixels, I have the option alias, but don't exchange not the background and outline. If I create a form as a style, I can't convert it to another. Is there a way to change both the background and outline of a form of alias?

    The forms are layers hidden path filled with color, for lack of a better way to describe simply. Paths are vector. Because a path is a vector, anti-aliasing does not, technically speaking, (not that you couldn't enter antialiasing later).

    So if you want anti-aliasing, work in pixels. On an empty layer, use the selection tool to make a selection of the desired shape, then fill with the desired fill color (Edit > Fill). After that, change the background colors and contour is a question of the application of layer style settings, (double click on the layer in the layers panel).

  • Button outline and text styles

    I am developing a Flash application with a back-end of Air and I worked on beautification of our user interface. We have created our site browser component in an mxml file and an ActionStcript file to run it. I met two problems that I have not been able to solve the hover and treat for most how a .as file can reference things in mxml.

    The first relates to the outlines button. I want to add a record button that is just our logo so I create a < mx:Button > tag with the field of the icon as our logo .png file. However this underscores again the whole thing with a black border as if it were a text button. Is there a way to get rid of that border or is there a button object that doesn't quite have a border?

    My second question has to do with the tag < mx:TextInput >. I want some of the entries to have the default text in them that disappears when the user focuses on the input of text in text box. This was not a problem, but I want to make the default text color more clearly and in italics, which I can do easily in the tag. However, when I try to refer to this text entry box in the .as file there is no option to change the type of font in the box, and therefore user input appears in italics and lighter as well. Is there a way around this, or maybe something better to put in place of the text box?

    Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post, I'm a bit new here. Many thanks for any help someone can give without worrying.

    If I am following correctly if all you want is your logo to accept and perform a click operation, then I would use buttonMode = "true"/ >

    For your second point, I think you're asking how to change the style in actionscript, that would be yourTextInputID.setStyle ('fontStyle', 'italic');

    It would be the same if you changed it in or associated .as file.

    I would also like to know that from where flex builder gets all the default values for the example button label?

    I believe that you can saw design time of strings localized resource bundles. You will need to launch the application.

  • Toggle and overview of the buttons

    Hello

    I am trying to create a button that will be normal, flipping and pressed state. I can get the button to switch between normal and pressed state with a mouse click, but I can't get the hover to work. I am also able to create a button with a normal and the rollover State, but it goes into the pressed state.

    To clarify what I mean by pressed state: if I select the button, the appearance changes, and when the mouse leaves the button it remains in this state until I have click on the new button. Currently, I can select the button and change its State, but once the mouse leaves the button, it changes again in the normal state.

    Thank you

    buttons with various States are a little tricky. You can add a variable to verify States. something like this:

    The button has three labels - in addition, you press

    in compositionReady

    var State = 0;

    SYM. $('bouton') .bind (' mouseenter', function() {} ")

    sym.getSymbol("button").stop ('over');

    });

    SYM. $('bouton') .bind ('mouseleave', function() {}

    {if(State==0)}

    sym.getSymbol("button").stop('on');

    } Else if (State == 1) {}

    sym.getSymbol("button").stop ('pressed');

    State = 0;

    }

    });

    SYM. .bind ("mousedown", function() {} $('bouton')

    sym.getSymbol("button").stop ('pressed');

    State = 1;

    });

  • Problems with the module supplier of personalized identification information and overview of VMware View Client working together

    I have a Horizon of VMware View client that connects me HVD Windows 7. So when I give view client Vmware Horizon my credentials, it auto logs me. I also created a custom credential provider that works on Windows 7 PC. When I install the custom in the HVD credentials provider, it works if I am already connected to HVD and I simulate CTRL + ALT + DELETE. Can I use my credential provider to "unlock" in. However, if I disconnect of HVD and try to connect using VMware Horizon View client to connect to Windows 7 of HVD, it gets stuck on the screen of the tile. I see the VMware SSO user tile but nothing happens when I click it. Then, I use my provider of customized credentials to connect. I expect to bypass my ISP credentials on the first connection and self as before.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks for your help.

    OK, I did some more troubleshooting and discovered that it was a problem with auto connection set to TRUE on my side of custom credentials provider (I pbAutoLogonWithDefault to TRUE). Since I still like it TRUE, I had originally set it to FALSE and then change for REAL once my credential provider was used.

    Thank you!

  • Lost in Live View and overview of formatting

    Hello. I'm stuck!

    I am new to Dreamweaver CC, but previous experience with CS5.

    I worked on a new website that was beautiful appearance until today. Now, I have lost all the formatting in Live view mode and preview. It just shows the test with no formatting at all. With the exception of the background image and the top navigation bar, which makes me think that the document should be link to the CSS file. In the design view all the divs and formatting are there.

    I hope someone can help, but I'm still relatively new to web development, feeling frustrated, as it was working fine before today...

  • Create the outline and loads of data to confirm at 11.1.2.2

    Hi all, Feelin' kinda stupid here, since this task really should not be as difficult as it seems.
    I am trying to load the application of TBC in 11.1.2.2 Essbase. I followed the documentation
    1. install EIS
    2. create the metadata repository and load the provided xml file

    I must now create the cube essbase from this repository of metadata, I can't find actual measurements on how to do it, all I found was related to the creation of the repository. Can anyone help to define what needs to be done and what steps I should take, I am new to the SIE and so simple Studio better :)

  • eyedropper, select outline, and then click a fill to apply the color to the stroke

    I choose a stroke, select the eyedropper and click on a color fill elsewhere, it is not applied to race, it would be simple, how can I choose a stroke and change the stroke color to match a fill on another object in the fastest way possible?

    try to make a shade of fill, then apply a stroke does not either, but it of a long way anyway, has to be a way to apply a fill color to a selected line...

    faster I know is to use the Eyedropper to select the fill color to the other object, this fills the fillbox on the tool palette, then hover over this shade of fill and drag it in the sample of line on the tools palette, then drag the sample of line on the path you want to repaint.

    so 3 steps, nothing faster?

    Select the race and make sure that the stroke area is active in the color Panel (if it is the x key to switch). Pipette/Shift to select the fill color.

  • Difference between Reader, Pro and overview

    I'm on Leopard 10.5.7 with preview. I also have Acrobat Reader 9.1 and 9.2 Pro Acrobat installed. What is the difference between the 3 programs? My default when open the PDF from Safari is Acrobat Pro. I can open PDFs very well with Pro. But when I launch the player he asks me if I want to use that program as the default.

    I also like the ability to use the built-in preview function because it seems to use less resources (ram) than Acrobat Pro.

    Can someone explain the difference between the 3 programs and what are the benefits of one over the other?

    I create PDF all the time with In Design and know that with player I can't save changes to the PDF I can only print and read on their part.

    Do I still need player on your computer, or is it an exaggeration?

    Acrobat creates PDF files. Drive and preview may display and print PDF files. One is an Adobe application and the other made by Apple.

    You have probably not drive. Most of the time, you can use Acrobat or preview of Mac. The advantage of having the reader, is that it works with all elements of PDF where preview may or may not (want to make comments on a PDF with an active PDF. Player can do, preview cannot). Acrobat also works well, but it does tend to load a lot slower than the base player application.

    In any case, it won't hurt to have all installed. If you prefer to use one over the other to open PDF files, just highlight a PDF and click file > info > open with, choose the preferred application, then click on change all the.

  • Contact email history and overview of activities in CRM

    Anyone explores an option/integration that would allow data to be exported or sent to their CRM system?

    Unfortunately, we do not use Salesforce or Oracle OnDemand so it's a little exciting.

    Niraj,

    Eloqua has a queue of activity is available through the API, which is usually used to fill this type of data in a non-standard CRM system. We have a client who does this successfully in Pivotal CRM. It requires a programming however. The Eloqua API documentation covers this - https://www.eloquatrainingcenter.com/portal/Documentation/API/Default.htm

    Hi there, so I'm working on a T-Shirt design atm in Illustrator

    When I click and do a few things on my graphics tablet without realizing

    All of a sudden, every line and color etc have no formatting at all. They are now all very fine black lines.

    I can't bring him back.

    Is a kind of clear vision or something like in the moddelling 3D software? the glimpse of the layers always has color etc. So I hope it's just a setting that I can not find...

    Thanks for any help

    Sam,

    CTRL Cmd + Y allows you to switch between outline and overview (see the view drop-down list).

    You may have mishit, try using a different combination of keys (instead of Y, T is the Group palette Type, G for group, H is for edges, and U is for Smart Guides, everything changes).

  • Need help, my box outline does not display anything, I can barely see the top of the coghweel and everything is hidden, it will not develop to open countours.  How to view these as before?

    countour box.jpg

    You can see the grey box it below outline.  That's all that shows when I click on it.  I see more he outlines and barely the gear wheel.  I've tried everything.  How can I fix it?

    Try to reset your preferences: ctrl/cmd-alt/opt-shift at the start of the PS.
