Outlook 2007 Inbox displays only unread messages

I run Office 2007 on my XP platform. Today all of a sudden the Outlook Inbox shows only the mail unread in the Inbox. The unread folder includes another unread mail, that is correct. Please help me restore the Inbox folder to display all the messages in this folder, if it has been read or not.

Click view > current view and see if you use the view "Unread Messages".  If so, that the view of Messages.

    Firefox is not a provider of e-mail, the web browser that displays your email if you wish.

    Who is your email provider? You'll have better luck looking at support for your provider documentation. Most e-mail clients have an option to show only unread messages, you'll probably be lucky.

  • Can I create a folder in the tree diagram that shows only unread messages?

    Currently, I put rules in place to filter messages in several different folders. But I want to be able to read all new messages in the order they are received, regardless of who they are or this folder they have been filtered in. That's why I want a folder to show only unread messages. After that I read them, I don't want to appear in the file not read more.

    I already used this "Unread mail" feature in Microsoft Outlook (to the old job), my new job is using Thunderbird and I would still like to access functionality, if possible in Thunderbird.

    I had set up a POP3 to my gmail account when I was away from the office to set up an office off so when I got home, because I is more necessary than this account and it was causing some problems for me, I deleted it. I think that's when the question began that I describe in the subject line: all messages in my Inbox display a response message has been sent, even if no message has been returned.

    Is there a way to fix this?

    A side-question: I used the POP3 account to respond to some emails so I was missing and since deleting that account, I can not longer see these details... message there at - it a way to recover these?

  • Unable to display all unread messages in Outlook Express after running "compating" and also update Symantec AV.

    Original title: how to repair Outlook Express.

    Until recently, when I open Oulook Express, I'd get a screen telling me how many emails that are UNREAD.  I would then click the UNREAD and I'd get a panel showing all the emails in the order in which they came from my ISP.  Now, however, when I open OUTLOOK EXPRESS, I get immediately the last email rec'vd and the only way I can see others, is to remove the one that is open.  I am running XP-Professional and anti-virus from Symantec.  This change seemed to arise as a result of a routine compaction and update my Symantec anti-virus.  I tried to 'uninstall' OUTLOOK EXPRESS by unchecking in 'Add/Remove Windows components' and then 'install' again by checking the box, but he always reacts the same way.  Is it possible that OUTLOOK EXPRESS has somehow been corrupted?  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    OE uncheck in Add/Remove removes only the access and nothing else. Compaction is a necessary process and unless you have actually lost messages, I doubt it was that. It is more likely Symantec which is least friendly OE AV program there. All that said, follow these steps.
     
    1: view | Current view. Make sure Show all Messages is the only option that is checked.
     
    2: Try in a new identity. You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.
     
    Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    How does one get rid of a notification of unread email on IPhone when all messages have been read?  It seems to be a common problem, and I solved once before, but don't remember how to do it.

    If they are not trying to help reset your email account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account and the blow to remove. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

    I can't find the message unread despite having opened all my messages in the Inbox and wonder why new messages no longer bolded.

    Right click on the folder, select Properties, and then on the button repair. A new clue can delete it.

    If not try
    View menu > folders > see not read if Thunderbird can find because he says he's here after an index rebuild.

    HOTMAIL that I accessed from the START MENU always indicate there is AN unread email in my Inbox when there is actually no.  I've written before to Microsoft but taught to direct this request to outlook.com.  I have it and followed the instructions but the problem persists.  I think it's a matter of windows.  Can help?

  • New subfolder does not display the unread messages in the left pane.

    I created a filter for messages on the mail server. It places the messages to a specific e-mail address in a folder on the IMAP server. Yet, when Thunderbird is opened, it does not show in the pane on the left in bold all new messages in this folder, until I have specifically click this file, and then it downloads messages and shows how many are unread.

    How then I exhibition/number of messages unread without clicking the subfolder?

    Try this:
    Right-click on the folder-under, select "Properties".
    Check the box "check this folder for new messages."
    Click OK

    How big are the messages? Maybe they take too long to download. If you have access to a web interface for these same messages, you will be able to preview/remove them or deal with them otherwise.

    You can add the column size of can on icon at the end of the columns to right.

  • Importer e-mail and addresses from Windows Mail in windows.old to Outlook 2007 in the new Windows 7

    Installed Windows 7 on a laptop last night.
    Old system: Vista & Windows Mail
    New system: Windows 7 Ultimate (64) & Outlook 2007

    Prior to installation, we have saved copies of records of e-mail and address books for the two users on a disk partition.  These same files are also still available in windows.old.

    Import in Outlook 2007 feature, I cannot select a directory where the old files/email address. He just made a kind of research and can't find anything.
    I wish that prospects to find them and convert a PST file but can't seem to make it work. I tied each combination in the functionality of Outlook 'import' and even tried to drag the old emails in the outlook Inbox (just create a new email with the .eml attachment file)

    What should I install Windows mail, that he could recognize the old addresses / and then inport to Outlook?  Maybe then Outlook will look for them in their actual location?

    In your case, you must first download/install Windows LIVE Mail and then import data from Windows Mail in this e-mail client. After that, you can EXPORT data from Windows LIVE Mail to Outlook (compared to import the data into Outlook).

    Yes, this is all very confusing. Adding to the confusion:

    1. you must set Windows LIVE Mail as your default for mail in CUSTOM (<>) item Set Program Access and computer by default in Win7 before any function send to or MailTo will become available.

    In Thunderbird, on the side facing 1 message shows still unread, but there are no unread messages. I checked all the related message and all I can think again always displays an unread message. Small detail, but it frustrate me. Thank you

    Thank you for your message.  Please try these steps and let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.

    1. If Outlook is not running, start Outlook and keep Outlook running
    2 create a couple of reminders, to check that they are saved in your folder primary calendar or tasks
    3. exit Outlook
    4. click on Start > click on all programs > click surAccessoires > right click guest > select 'Run as administrator'
    5. in the command prompt, type "outlook /cleanreminders" (without the quotes) and press [ENTER]

    Open outlook and test
