Outlook express 6 error 0x8xxccc6f - Email is not sent

I get the following error message when I try to send email from Outlook Express 6. the email is not sent. How can I fix it?

An unknown error has occurred. "Account: 'POP3', server: 'SMTP.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, server response: ' 554 eastrmimpo306.cox.net bizsmtp bad too many orders of 72.213.56.10 ', Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 554, error number: 0x800CCC6F

Check via webmail and ensure that webmail access works.

Then remove interference antivirus and make sure that your antivirus software is not defined on analyze them (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

So try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  Then try to add your account and see if it works.

    Outlook express won't come through

My outlook express won't let emails through. I am getting an authorization and then an error will appear. Sometimes it will say: reception of messages, but none will come by.  A box appears and says that he put an end to the connection, maybe because of the connection to the server, the long period of inactivity or network connection. Also, I get a message on and which was completely removed several times on the file inbox and delete. I have no idea how to solve this problem or what I did to make it. I've never experienced this before.

You probably have the widespread corruption of dbx files. Try in a new identity.

File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

In addition, follow these guidelines to help avoid this in the future.

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

For some reason, I can't get my Outlook Express to send my emails... they do not connect or send failed... what I am doing wrong to cause this... I have used Outlook Express in the past and had no problem with it... Also, how can I know what e-mail programs POP3 or request the program Outlook Express? Could you please clarify this for me, thanks...

I use Windows Live Mail as my regular e-mail address... but I can use a different e-mail to another e-mail program to configure Outlook Express?

Visit the website of your email provider and see if they have instructions to set up an account in Outlook Express.  They provide you with the appropriate settings.   Nobody here knows them, because they are specific to the e-mail provider.  So check with your provider of messaging on the correct settings to use for OE.

  • Outlook Express 6 - can receive messages but not send - error number: 0x800CCC0E

Original title: Outlook Express 6 - can receive messages but not send

I recently installed SP3 on my Windows XP machine and installed Internet Explorer 8. After that, Outlook stopped mail (still receives, if) and gave me this error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.qmcompany.com', server: 'mail.qmcompany.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

I tried everything but reinstall Outlook Express. Is there a compatibility issue with IE 8? Any help would be appreciated.

Windows XP, outlook express, 11004, error 0x800CCC0D number socket error.  All the server, connection, and advanced properties are set correctly.  I seems that Outlook Express has stopped working - it will not get any mail from any account more.  XP is installed on my computer desk top of page. - Maybe (?) when I tried to email a link of my computer laptop (Vista) and Microsoft Mail address (or something like that he stopped and asked me to set up a new e-mail account and I canceled)? After that, I can't use Outlook Express. The laptop and the desktop using the same internet access to Comcast.    I contacted Comcast and the comcast tech said "all settings are correct - call Microsoft.

  • E-mail response in outlook express using the default email

The default email in Outlook Express address is * address email is removed from the privacy *

When we click on answer the e-mail, the e-mail address of the sender indicates * address email is removed from the privacy *, instead of * address email is removed from the privacy *

We tried to change the (name) e-mail account and the information of the user (name) in the aphabetic order (numeric). But it does not work. We have also tried to change in order that e-mail account has been set up. Yet once, it does not work.

Your colleague suggested changing the rules of Message. But it may apply here.

Please let know us how we can fix this problem.

You can set default email under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties.  OE will then use it by default, but if the e-mail was sent to a different e-mail address, when you reply, OE will use this e-mail address and not the default value in the response.  If you cannot set the e-mail by default, or if OE doesn't know it, then you can go to file | Identities and install a new identity and add your mail accounts to ensure that identity and that should solve the problem.

Outlook Express. Error messahe States password was rejected, but there is nowhere to retrieve it or change it?

    Hello

You will need to login to your webmail to check the password and if it does not, retrieve the password to the site.

Assuming that the password is valid, you can re - enter the accounts of outlook express configuration and try again. It may be necessary to create a new identity in outlook express.

I opened outlook express and all my emails and I created folders disappeared. Are they gone forever? Ideas?

It looks like a new OE has been created? File | Identities. Y at - it a list?

If this is not the case, look for your message store folder. While following the path, when you get to the identities, see if there is a second appearing, and if this identity has for folders dbx files you are missing.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

The path to the message will be very similar to this:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

You did not indicate EO to leave a copy of messages on the server, so when he downloaded from the server, they have been removed from it.  Go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and check the box leave a copy on the server for the future.

  • My email was not sent e-mails from 29/11/14.

My email was not sent e-mails from 29/11/14.  I get the error message:

    An unknown error has occurred.

    Server: 'smtp.gmail.com. '

Windows Live Mail error ID: 0 x 80070057

    Protocol: SMTP

    Port: 587

    Secure (SSL): Yes

I also tried port 465 (which was original)

    I get e-mails very well.

    1. Change the port from the server of mail out to 465. This is one recommend gmail.
    2. Delete all the pending messages from the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane), and then close Windows Live Mail and wait a few minutes.
    3. Restart the program, compose a new message of test with a single topic and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.
