Outlook or calendars

I have a new computer and it's one I synchronize my phone with, but apparently it did come with a calendar that my phone can find. My other computer had outlook and had no problem. I now have windows vista 64 bit prem. I've been begging my husband to get a calendar on here that is compatible with my phone. Could not synchronize calendar for more than a year. Y at - it an easy way I can download a calendar. I don't want outlook to synchronize with my email just my phone. How can I find out what I need and works with my system?

Hi burbanosky,

Windows Calendar is a calendar application that is included with windows vista. You can synchronize your phone with windows calendar.

To find out whether your device is compatible with Sync Center, plug it into your computer and install any software supplied with the unit. If your device is able to sync using Sync Center, it will appear in the list of the new partnerships for synchronization, you can configure the Sync Center. If it is not listed there, check if the software provided with the device includes sync capabilities.

  • BlackBerry Q5 Q5 for PC Outlook 2007 calendar don't sync

    Dear team,

Recently I bought Q5 but a problem in 2-way sync with my Q5 and my MS Outlook 2007 calendar. The data cannot not be syn back of my Q5 in my calender PC (ie. only way syn allowed PC Q5).

For your reference, my latest config are:

    Q5: software version 10.1.0.2309

    Link to BB: Version 1.1.1.32

I tried to check the option "set up" next to "Calendar" link BB as follows:

Direction of syn: 2 - way synchronization between your device and your computer

Conflict resolution: always use my computer data

Period of Syn device: all entries

    Can you please help?

    Thank you
    Duncan

    Hi DuncanBB,

Can you please check on your BlackBerry Q5 and tell me if the entries that are not being synchronized appear in the BlackBerry link calendar? You can check by opening the calendar app, pulling down the menu from the top of the screen, by selecting manage and disabling allother calendars. This should allow you to display only the entries in the calendar that is being synchronized.

    Hey Bernaragon,

I understand that you are having problems with the creation of a calendar to your iCloud account in Outlook. Let's see if we can get smooth it.

For most of the problems with iCloud for Windows can be solved in two steps of troubleshooting. The first being to toggle synchronization of calendar and then put it back in the iCloud for Windows app. The second being would ensure that the Add on Outlook to iCloud is turned on. Take a look at the article below for more details on how to do these steps.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new Bishop Office stops abruptly during synchronizing of Outlook 2007 calendar

As a * beep *, I improved something that worked perfectly.  I upgraded to BB Software v4.2 on my 8830 and updated the Desktop Manager to version 4.7.  Now, when I sync, it brings just a Vista dialog box that says that it has stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution (which she never finds).  I have tried everything, including closing the AV and the User Account Control (UAC) and the removal/relocation of the Office of Bishop.  I even tried to use computer Manager to change the drive letter.  The only thing that allows me to get through the synchronization is that if I called the timing of the device completely replaces the Outlook calendar, every time I sync.  This is unacceptable, because it means that I can never come from a calendar on Outlook event and I hope to synchronize it with my BB.   Aaaarghhh!

Well, as a last effort, I blew most of my calendar events, and now the synchronization works.  Must have been a corrupted calendar event.  In any case, back to the task of reconstruction of my electronic calendar...

  • Sync BB Smartphones blackBerry to Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks

I have a BB 8830, which is used to be arranged on my company's BES.  I am now a small business owner with no BES and I like to keep my BB 8830.  I run Microsoft Outlook on my desktop PC.  Anyone know how I can get my BB to sync, wired, to my Office Outlook, calendar & tasks contacts?  I tried to download the BB Desktop Manager software, but I could not properly configured port.

My email is correct: I created my Comcast and Godaddy domain hosted by email to download on my BB via BIS.

Had, and it's fixed!  Thank you.  How do the Bravo thing?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize Outlook 2007 calendar with Alltel BB 8330

Ok... Looks like a lot of people have this problem. Here is what I have

    Vista Home Basic SP1

Outlook 2007 (as part of Office Enterprise 2007)

    Running OS 4.5.0.127 BB8330

Configured with two accounts-Default calendar/e-mail account is the same account Outlook. (I have Groupwise at work... This isn't the default account/calendar)

    BlackBerry DM 4.5

    Here's what I tried...

Uninstalled and reinstalled many times DM

Install the latest version of DM (4.7)

    Latest device OS (4.5)?

    Delete the Intellisync folder

    Only calendar Sync

    DM running as administrator

Remove all the BB calendar entries associated with the Groupwise e-mail account

Have run scanpst on Outlook and repaired the file (he said he had some problems)

First great Sync worked, the only thing I did between the first and the second synchronization have been changing some recurring calendar events and adds two events to my calendar for the Groupwise account. I deleted since these events Groupwise and calendar don't show any entries when I look under the calendar options.

Now, I get the error "Desktop Manager has stopped working" much-discussed when DM begins to deal with my Outlook calendar. It syncs contacts very well, bed and treats the calendar of the device, then reads 631 records of Outlook calendar, starts processing Outlook calendar files and stops immediately. I have to reboot to get the DM to try to synchronize again. Here is the log of the Intellisync folder...

It's disconcerting. I used a Palm TX for years and was happy to jump into the world of BB. I love the phone, but I bought it mainly to keep track of my schedule. I am not impressed and rest 26 days to test. I hate to take it back to Alltel but its useless unless I can easily and surely to synchronize the calendar. Everyone you have all the answers?

OK... Here's the update. I tried a few things, too many to enter in, and nothing has worked. Finally, I have downlaoded and installed Companionlink Express and... presto! I can sync again. 49.95 for Companionlink software. It looks like the BB people might write (or buy) a decent piece of software. I bought the 8330 mainly to help me cope with my calendar. When this does not work, I got a cell phone for $ 200 million. RIM has almost come back! Furthermore, the site is www.companionlink.com.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook 2010 (calendar), do not sync with BB Curve 9300

BB Desktop Manager says Outlook 2010 is not installed, although it is installed. Everything (contacts, notes, tasks) is syncing, but not the calendar.

Sync has always worked until about a month ago. Tried to fix the problem by repairing Office 2010, resettlement of BB Desktop Manager.

    Still does not work.

What's wrong? Why can't I sync my Outlook with my BB calendar?

    Hey oliroyal,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

First, check your services by default on the device under Options, Advanced Options, default services.
If the default services are configured correctly I suggest try to create a new MAPI profile, as shown in this articlehttp://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02083 and then reconfigure the Desktop as described herehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17022 software

    Thank you.

  • Problems syncing of Smartphones blackBerry with Outlook 2007 calendar

I got my Curve 8300 for about a month now and have had no problems with synchronization until today.  Some how my appointments Outlook have been removed, but they remain on my curve.  I tried different configurations of synchronization to transfer these data to my curve in Outlook.  After synchronization, the objects remain on my curve but are not available on Outlook.  If I manually enter an appointment on the curve, it syncs, but the other past and future appointments will not.

I also tried a hard reset, but not luck.

    Any ideas?

Thank you.  This process worked.  Please note: I added a step to outside between #1 and #2.  Before deleting the database of the calendar, I tried a one-way synchronization and appointments in calendar of device transferred to Outlook without problem.  If I had not done this, all my data calendar for 2009 would have already disappeared.  Would have taken it home Manual of all calendar data.

Hello, I really need help.  I tried everything I can think of to solve the problem.  I have the 8350i Nextel, just recently it stopped syncing with my outlook calendar.  Everything in outlook sync very well.  I went into my BB desktop to sync settings manager, I have reset and it still does not work.  I does not synchronize either, and I have it configured to synchronize both ways.  I disabled phone and out of the battery for a few minutes and restarted my computer.  I would be very happy if someone can help.

Can it be done? Thanks to all those who can help you.

    Hi Laurie,

I did a search just now and I have a thread for you to try. I can't wait to go back, but your situation was resolved by installing a different (older) version of the Blackberry Desktop software. I have Outlook 2003 and XPpro so I know it works.

Read this and see if it makes sense. I can help you with it if you wish.

    Let me know.
